I'm thinking of getting a new iMac, however I am concerned some current software will not be compatible with it and I'll lose files etc. For example all my music files for Logic Express 8.
I am currently running:
Mac OS X version 10.6.8,
iTunes 11.4,
iPhoto 7.1.5,
Logic Express 8.0.2,
Microsoft Word/Excel etc. is 12.3.6.
These are the most used applications so I want to limit any losses from these if I were to get a new iMac.
Any support with this, and on how to transfer files to a new iMac would be very much appreciated.

Where can I find what the error messages of Time Machine means?

Checking my System Log Queries I found the following:

Can anyone explain what this means, and is it "fatal" in such a way that the backup made is useless for restoring? Where can I find documentation for such messages?

The app store is the only place to get apps for your iPad. Some developers allow you to download older compatible versions of their apps - if there is a free game that you want then you could try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that it's in your account's purchase/download history, and then on your iPad see if you can download an older compatible version of it. If it's a paid-for app then try contacting the developer first (there should be a link to the developer's site on the app's description page) and ask them if that will work for their app (don't buy it first and then find that it doesn't).

Where can I find what phone loads are compatible with CME?

I recently upgraded one of our CME systems to CME v10.0
I noticed that even though the CMEv10 Supported Firmware page says the compatible phone load for my 7911 phones is 9-2-1TH1-13,
my 7911's running phone load 8-4-3-16 all seem to be registering and running just fine.
So I must conclude that 7911 phone load 8-4-3-16 is compatible with CME v10.0
Where can I go to find out what phone load versions are compatible with CME or perhaps, at least, where I can find what phone loads are no longer supported by a version of CME?

Specific CME versions are tested with the versions listed on the "requirements" doc like the one you mentioned (linked below), but are not limited to those firmware versions. The phone loads/firmware is completely independent from the CME/IOS version. And it is often appropriate to upgrade or downgrade phone firmware levels on CME and is fully supported :)

I would look at upgrading the 8-4-3 firmware for the 7911's BUT you will need to move to an interim mid-point release like 8-5-2 as a first step due to the "important notes" shown here;

I've looked into the specifics of the using a joystick and found a very good article that I think will point you in the right direction. Check out the knowledge base titled Can I Monitor a Joystick or Gamepad in LabVIEW 7.x? Basically, the vi's can be used with the USB HID (Human Interface Device) class of hardware. I just want to know what the latest version of Firefox is. I'm not asking where I can download the latest version. In the past when I've gone to Firefox help and "About Firefox" It said I had the latest version when in fact I didn't. So I just want to know where I can go to find out what the latest version is. When I Google "What is the latest version of Firefox" it only tells me where to go for the download but not what the latest version is.

Had an Excel file in the dock. When I restarted computer a question mark appeared in the dock. I can't find the file. Where can I find what was in the dock on my Time Capsule

I had an Excel file icon in my Dock on the compter. When I restarted my computer a Question mark appeared where the file icon was located in the dock. I need to find that file. I can't locate it either on my computer or on the Time Capsule . Anyone have any thoughts where the actual file may be located?

Sorry, you lost me.
If the file is on your computer, then you will find it if you open Excel, click the File menu, and click Open Recent.
If you deleted the file before Time Machine saved it, it is gone.
If the file was on your computer long enough for Time Machine to save it, it will be in your Time Machine backups.
Open up Time Machine, wait a few minutes for it to load, and click on All Files on the left side of the window.
Then scan to select a purple bar over on the right hand side of the window to select a recent date when you know that the document was on your Mac.
If the document was saved, then you will see it in there somewhere. Click on the file to highlight, then click Restore to bring it back to the present time.

In JBuilder, its help system is good for searching and index, very easy to use. Use common browser to see Sun JDK Doc (API spec, eg) is not so easy.
In Visaual Age help is also OK.
But everytime, even make a small java file, to use help system, you need open the JBuilder. too slow.
is there any such tool like JBuilder Help system ?
