Where can i print photobooks.

Im looking at doing a photo book. I have PSE 10.
I cannot find companies that would print the Photo books. There are many companies like blurb or blacks cameras that have good programs on their own but I thought since I have PSE then I might as well use it rather than learning something all over again.
Are there any companies like I have mentioned that you would upload the book to and then they would print it. It seems useless to me to start using th eprogram If I cant print anything from it proffessionally.
Thanks.

The only options in Elements are Kodak and Shutterfly, geared mainly to the US market. I think books are so personal and you need to test one or two companies to ensure you are happy with the print quality and binding.
Personally I prepare the images in Elements (sRGB at 300 ppi and the appropriate size) then upload using the downloaded software and built-in templates.
I’ve tried a few firms in the UK and settled on the one I like. I’ve kept their software and uninstalled the other programs.
The good thing is that they send me discount coupons from time to time so I always have a set of images pre-prepared to take advantage of the offers.

  • Can I print a 2 page spread to .PDF from a CS 3 document where the rest of the pages are NOT spreads

Since I do not know how to really describe this, please have a look and tell me how (if it's possible) if I can print (to PDF) this catalog where the pages (4) and (5) can remain as a spread and the rest of the document would print single pages.  I can print this as a booklet, but it's sideways online.  Our goal is to have our customers able to view the PDF online and get its full impact.  We really can't do that viewing it sideways OR by having the pages 4 and 5 split up like they are.
    http://provsnusa.com/pdf/Product%20Guide_GenRec_WEB_CURRENT_VERSION.pdf
The problem we're having is we would like to NOT break-up pages 4 and 5.  We want this to look good for the users.
Is it possible to have 1 spread only display all the way across - in other words, is there a way to NOT split up just pages 4 and 5 in this document?  The only way I know is to print ALL the spreads.
I tried: Creating the PDF with all the spreads, it does not look as good, but at least the 2 page spread is not broken up (4 and 5).
But now if I go to print the PDF with ALL spreads, then it does not print properly on letter sized paper.  Are there settings I can embed where this will print properly where the end user does not have to make adjustments - i.e. We want the end user to be able to just hit "print" and it's done.
I tried: I also created this InDesign CS3 document as a PDF booklet.  While this is OK, it appears sideways online to the viewer which is not desirable in this case.  Is there a way where the end user can view this correctly as a booklet online without printing?
I guess as an alternative, I can upload the booklet for printing, and another version for viewing.
Maybe there's a special web based PDF viewer out there or something - I'm very ignorant here.
Any suggestions would be very helpful
Sorry for the long wind - hope I've made sense.
    Dan

Why not reconstruct the pages in InDesign they way you want the double pages to appear. There may even be an imposition script available that will do the trick. You could then output to pdf all the pages you want the full spread on. Leave the original to create the pages you wanted left as is.
You can ask in the ID forum about an imposition script. I know there was one with CS4, there may have been one with CS3.

I need to know how to stop this from happeing and get it back to the way it has been working he last 6 months since i purchased this program.

    Hi pissedadobeuser,
Does this issue occur with any particular web page?
Are you able to print the webpage to 'Adobe PDF' to convert it to pdf.
Which Browser version, OS version and Acrobat version are you using?

Where can I find a print driver for my e-mac running os9.2

Actually the best place is the web site for the printer. You'll also need the model, but there are still some OS9 drivers out there.
You must supply the printer make and model for people here to help further.

i need to use an hp 6215 printer with my mac book pro.  the driver installation disk doesn't work.  where can i get a driver that will work?

With the Lion it is essentially unnecessary to resort to external driver disks. What's more, most of those disks are incompatible with the OS and should not be used. The system already carries a wide variety of printer description files (aka PPDs, which is what modern printing systems use as "drivers") for a lot of brands. And there was an HP printer update just two days ago.
Just checked in mine and did indeed find that the HP OfficeJet 6200 Series, with or without Fax, is covered with the latest update.
So just go thru the motions of creating a proper printer instance:
Make sure the Mac "sees" the printer on the network.
System Preferences / Print & Scan
Click on the + button on the left column
Select the appropriate type of printer, will use IP for the rest of this
Select HP Jetdirect - Socket, default for HP network printers
Type the IP address or look it up
Name the printer for easy identification on the print dialog
Let the Mac identify the printer model or manually choose the driver
    Click Add.
Once the instance pops up in the list, can click on Options & Supplies for further config.

  • Where can I get an EPSON printer for the original iMac?

Where can I get an EPSON printer for the original iMac?

You should look for an Epson Stylus Color 740 or the higher-end 900 or 980, which are about 12 years old now.  All have USB connectivity, and while the 900/980 is a better/faster printer, it's harder to find the ink tanks for it at the usual office supply stores.  Ink tanks for the 740 series seem to be more readily available, without a special order.  There were Mac versions of these printers (the 740i and 900i), with blue/ice housings that were color-keyed to match the fruit-colored "blueberry" iMac and Blue & White G3 mini-tower.  There was no Epson printer that was color-keyed to the original Bondi Blue iMacs.

Where can I get an HP Laser Jet 5 Basic Printer driver, besides using the windows Update button.

Here is the product page for the Laserjet 5p/mp page. This will be the best place to find what you need. If it is not listed here, then the only other place to get the driver is through windows update.

where can i get a printer driver for my kodak hero 3.1 printer for my macbook

Mac 101: Printing (OS X Lion)
    Important:
Your OS X Lion system will either have the necessary printing software already installed, or it will automatically download and install software when the printer is connected or configured. Do not install software that came with the printer as it may be out of date, and do not connect the printer to your Mac yet. Follow the instructions that came with the printer to unpack, install ink or toner, and insert paper.  Finally, use the instructions in this article to connect the printer to your Mac.
The procedures are identical for Mountain Lion.

  • Where can i get Third party plugIns of Print Service

JPS----Java Print Service API has provided the Service
Provider Interface through which plugins can be created to provide ones own implementation of the PrintServiceLookup........i am unable to locate any such print service Api thru NET..if somebody can tell me where can i find such resources i shall be obliged...........

I think that if someone has ever found an interesting way to print pdf files from java, especially if this uses the 1.4 JPS API, It would be nice to put it on this forum and not share it via e-mail with some happy-fews (just my 2 cents).
I have been looking at this for a while and could not find any decent solution (spawning an Acrobat Reader with the /t option does not allow to control enough printer options like 2-sided, n-up, paper trays, ...).
I think of a solution that would convert the pdf to a plain ps document and stream it with JPS to the printer. I am trying to integrate Ghostscript with my app using JNI to do so. Has anyone used this or another solution to get a PS file out of a pdf document within java?
Did anybody find or write a java pdf renderer that could be used to implement the Pageable and Printable interfaces?
Please let me (and us all) know...
    Daniel

CD/DVD labels should only be used on tray loading burners.  Not slot loaders.
Use magic marker pens to label your CD/DVDs.

  • Where can  get a full printed Soundtrack Pro maual?

    Hi!
I bought Logic Studio recently and it only contains a "Getting Started" Maunual for Soundtrack Pro (about 150 pages or so). Since I am new to Soundtrack I would like to have a printed version of the actual (600+ pages) Soundtrack Pro Manual in full length. Where can I get it? I couldn't find it in the Apple Store.

You are right: a printed manual does not exist. I called Apple support today and the guy confirmed that there is only the PDF file and no printed books other than a Getting Started guide (included in print in both Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio).

I have an imac running OS10.6.8 and an Apple laserwriter 16/600PS.  Is it possible to connect these directly without networking?  Where can I find the printer driver?

It turned out that WD is the big bad guy in this game.
According the data rescue company where I asked for an inspection, both of the drives had their reader head loose. And in the one, which was my already-in-use disk its even damaged the platters... xxxxx
So its time to pay bunch of money to recover, and take a walk to wd service to bang on the desk.
Also note - it may be somehow related to intellispeed technology - since macs not really friendly with wd-s built-in solutions.
On the other hand, with WD GP 1Tb there is no problems at all for ages.
    thanks guys, thread is closed

Where can I find a useful "user guide" I can print for an ipad2

Be green and don't print!  The iPad user's guide is in the bookmarks section of Safari.  But, because you'll be reading it in Safari, you have to be in a wifi area or using the 3G network.  However, you can download the .pdf and open it in the free iBooks reader.  Then you have it with you wherever you go and don't have to be on the internet to read it.
