Where do I get a copy of the rescue partition?

The Hard drive failed for my 2b19wm. I bought a new 1 TB HD to replace the dead one. Where can I get a copy of the recovery partition so I can install the factory version of Window 8 that came on this system.

When the laptop was new it prompted you to make a recovery disk set. Most people never do so don't feel bad. HP will send you a set for a nominal charge.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the airport admin assistant?????

My Mac G3 has recently died a sad and horrible death, consequently I am now an 'XP' user. I need to set up my airport express network. I can't find anywhere a copy of the admin assistant that allows me to add express units to my existing network (I have three units that I use to stream music around my house).
Can anyone supply me with a copy of the admin assistant that will run on a windows machine??
I have tried all the CDS that came with express units with no success.

I have just installed it on my XP PC (using the link I gave) and it does include the Setup assistant.

individual base stations. I'm looking for the setup
assistant that allows the addition of extra airports
to a network. Any more ideas??
The Airport Admin Utility (what you have called the maintenance app) allows you to configure individual base stations and can be used to configure an Airport Express to join an existing network - you would need to enter the information manually.

I have gone through all the suggested steps to restore the navigation toolbar to the default position, yet none have worked. Is there anyway I can do so? If not, where can I get a copy of the previous edition of Firefox?

I have tried all posted means to restore default settings to my navigation toolbar. Are there other ways?

I was a strong supporter of Firefox until this happened. None of the fixes have worked...and besides why should I have to waste my time trying to fix it in the first place. I lost a lot of time and information with this situation and Firefox provides no support for itself that I can see. No...I've switched to Google Chrome and Firefox will have a serious uphill climb getting me back or preventing me from warning others off their product. FIREFOX HAS COST ME SEVERAL HOURS...NO...DAYS REPAIRING THIS DAMAGE. I won't be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank god we still have the freedom to chose in this country...at least for now.
P.S. I hope Firefox goes the way of Netscape. I was once a supporter of their product too...but they blew it bad...

Where can i get a copy of the recovery disk after factory reset?

Hi, im wondering if anybody can help? i have a macbook thats a few years old and think it runs on 10.6 snow leopard. However i cant find the recovery disk. After sending it in to the shop to have more memory added, full back up onto an external hard drive and full factory resetits asking to be booted from the recovery disk. Can i download OSX 10.8 to drop onto a USB stick and load it onto the macbook? Thanks for any help

Possible Alternative if you are currently using Panther 10.3 – Do a Google search for Tiger 10.4 Upgrade DVD. It will upgrade your 10.3 to 10.4, but it doesn’t contain the full retail Tiger installer. Should be cheaper than the retail Tiger install DVD.

Pls where can I get a copy of Visual Composer [VC]??
It is not available for download from the SAP website.
I wanted to create an EAI solution for demonstration purposes using VC, but I read it is not possible to connect to non-SAP systems using the Visual Composer?
So it is no use for what I want.

Hi Sean,
Visual Composer was not yet released in an unrestricted shipment release, therefore it is still not available for download. It is planned to happen in the third quarter of 2004 (Probably September).
This version will support not only SAP data sources but also JDBC and Siebel (with more third parties to come in the future).

Where can I get a copy of iTunes 5 and how do I keep my purchased music?

Hi all:
I am using iTunes 5 (5.0.0.35) and want to reinstall it as I get the following error message from the iTunes Setup Assistant when iTunes starts up:
"Warning! The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
I would just install the new version 6 but it seems that it's not working for alot of people with windows XP so I think I should stay with v. 5 for now. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the installation file for v. 5?
Also, when I reinstall, do I uninstall my current version first and how do I ensure that my downloaded purchased music will still be useable after reinstallation? I can't burn them as 'music CDs' because of the error message iTunes gives me and my CD burning software doesn't recognize m4p files as music files (I could burn them as data files though-but since they are protected, I don't know if this would work).
Any insight would be appreciated!

two-and-a-half answers here. you might want to get independent confirmation of my answer to (3).
(1) if you mean what i think you mean by CD-text, i'm afraid you're out of luck with itunes. see:

(2) to use protected AACs (music store purchases) in other applications, first you need to burn them to an audio CD and then reimport them from the CD in a compatible file format.
(3) i'm pretty sure that itunes only burns closed sessions on CD-RWs. so to use the CD-RW again for burning with itunes, you'd need to erase it first (with some other utility).
(would someone else mind confirming or denying or expanding on my answer to 3? i've lost track of the threads where i've seen this discussed, and i'm working from possibly-fallible memory.)

eBay. You should get a "retail" copy (which came on three CDs not one DVD), black with a big silver X. Don't get a copy that came with a particular Mac model (grey color), unless it happens to be the disc that came with your particular Mac model.
You may want to consider getting Tiger (10.4) instead, if your Mac supports it. Tiger provides better software compatibility with more recent applications, compared to Panther.
If your Mac is a G4 or G5, 867 Mhz or faster, with at least 512mb of RAM, Leopard (10.5) is also supported.
NOTE: Leopard does not have "Classic" mode for running Mac OS 9 apps. Tiger (and earlier) does.
