Hallo!I am totally new to Oracle currently studying for Oracle 10g Administration.
I would like to explore E-Business Suite too.Howevwer,I cannot find a basic E-Business Suite Download (like Oracle 10g R2) download.

If it is available, it will probably be through http://edelivery.oracle.com That is where Oracle puts pretty much all their downloadable software. The other place is usually the Download link on http://otn.oracle.com
The last time I tried installing eBusiness Suite, it was a 'significant' task. Youmight be better off asking Oracle to arrange for a trial. IIRC, they are usually hosted, so you can get the experience of the application without the admin/tech learning curve up front.

I'm unsure what kind of documentation you are after. It really comes down to the Oracle eBusiness documentation on how to implement it, e.g. field A should be populated with the following information.
As far as the adapter documentation all you do is find the service using the adapter. This is broken into the different modules so it should be easy to find. When you select it the adapter will create the interface so you can start implementing your processes.
Exactly what issues are you facing.

Issue importing Japanese language in E business Suite 12i

Hi All,
I have installed Oracle E Business Suite 12i with Vision Database on Windows 2003 Server 32 bit server. Everything is working fine.
Now, I am trying to add Japanese language to this system. So, I changed the base language from American English to Japanese using License Manager under Oracle Application Manager. Then I ran adadmin tool and maintain the multi language tables. Then I have enabled the maintenance mode using adadmin tool.
Then I ran adpatch utlity to import the Japanese language patch i.e. u4440000.drv. It ran for 2 hours then gave me an error.

Yes. I have met the same issue as I adpatched the simpled-chinese language in EBS R12.1.1. The follow is log for worker. I can not solve errors with adctrl utility. the patching for language package can not go on. Have you solved this issue and how ?

Where to download the sample code of Expense Tracker application

Several JSC2 tutorial articles mention a sample application called Expense Tracker. Does anyone know where to download it? The links in the articles are invalid now.

We are in the process of developing a business application using application express that works more like an extension of Oracle E-Business Suite. Finding an aswer for following question is critical for our small business to move forward with this product development. Request your help please.
Background:
- Our application stored metadata and pl/sql programs in a custom scehema in Oracle E-Busiess Suite.
- We are using Glassfish to host the application express listener to publish/run our application at the moment (development/testing phase)
Our understanding and clarifications needed:
- Our potential client must have an Enterprise level licese on Oracle E-Business Suite in order to allow them to deploy/run our application (3rd party).
- If our potential clients host our application on Oracle HTTP server (from the same box as the Oracle EBS database) then they dont need additional license. Otherwise, they'll have to buy HTTP Server licenses as well?
- What is the best tool (economical and production level performances point of view) to host a 3rd party apex application? Glassfish, Http server, Java standalone?

Where to download Oracle Student System, part of Oracle E-business suite 11

I am very new to Oracle E-Business suite of applications, but need to download Oracle Student System, which as I understand is part of the suite. Currently, on E-delivery, on release 12.1 is available, which doesnt contain OSS. Any ideas where to get this application? Is it available on its own as well?

Most Oracle Apps 11i software were removed from e-Delivery website, and in order to get the software, you will have to log a SR and ask Oracle support to send you the Media Pack (this requires having a valid Metalink account).

E Business Suite 11i Server Spec for Linux?

Does anyone know, or can suggest possibilities, of a server spec for 11i on Linux. This is for a small company installation of 11i.
Where can I go to ansewer questions like this?
What Linux distributions are supported for 11i?
I was thinking of multiple CPU's, highpoint raid controllers to give RAID 0+1, and 1 or 2 Gb of memory.

Our E-business suite 11i has been running on the application tiers RHEL 4, due to the requirement to support large memory configurations on a 32-bit system. Is it true that from RHEL 5, the “hugemem” kernel which achieves this 32-bit memory scalability has been deprecated in favour of the use of 64-bit kernels?
Your 11i application tier will be limited to 32-bit even if you install 32-bit OS on x86-64 hardware.
Our Oracle 11g database is running on RedHat Linux 5.8. Is E-Business suite 11i (application tiers) certified to run on RHEL 5.8?

i install E Business Suite on redhat AS4 system. but i can't login on E Business Suite home .the error is:
Internal Server Error

Please contact the server administrator, changeOnOHSInstall and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
where are the documents about E Business Suite on redhat as4/as3?

I recommend to you to enter with the following with the following url, http: // yourserver.domain:port/dev60cgi/f60cgi, and enter with sysadmin user and enable the system profile FND: Debug to yes, and retry the normal login, and review the log error file.

a customer asked me where WebDynpro ABAP is used in Business Suite/ERP. I didn't find any information about this.
Do you have an overview for the Use of SAPGUI / WD4A / FPM in current versions of SAP products?
I just had in mind that within HCM many functions (for employees) are realized with WD4A...
