Which messages of soap call processes the block exception branch?

Hi guys!
I'm testing a scenario, where I use BPM, have a block, sync web service call inside and have exception branch, which sends original message to the dest system. I'm a little bit confused, cos' I'm not sure, which error messages does exception branch process. Is it only system error? Or is it also application error - means: fault message is returned..
Thanx, Olian!

ok, If I send 0 as parameter, I get exception:
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
   <SOAP-ENV:Body>
      <SOAP-ENV:Fault>
         <faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode>
         <faultstring>Division by zero</faultstring>
         <detail>
            <ns1:div_test.CalcException xmlns:ns1="urn:CalculatorWsd/CalculatorVi" xmlns:pns="urn:test">
               <pns:message>Division by zero</pns:message>
            </ns1:div_test.CalcException>
         </detail>
      </SOAP-ENV:Fault>
   </SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
But When I send one string parameter, I get
<SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
   <SOAP-ENV:Body>
      <SOAP-ENV:Fault>
         <faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode>
         <faultstring>Deserializing fails. Nested message: XML Deserialization Error. Can not create instance of [java.lang.Integer] with parameter [ee]..</faultstring>
         <detail>
            <ns1:com.sap.engine.services.webservices.additions.soaphttp.exceptions.ProcessException xmlns:ns1="http://sap-j2ee-engine/error">Deserializing fails.          </detail>
      </SOAP-ENV:Fault>
   </SOAP-ENV:Body>
</SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
So, these are two possible exceptions...  How to get them? Both are two different message types
OR: hot to get detail text to send it to receiver? What steps need to be in the exception branch?
O.
Olian.

  • How to make a SOAP call using the PI 7.1

    Hi All,
    Can you please tell me how can we make a SOAP call using the PI 7.1?
    Thanks in advance

    Hello Shweta,
    Could you please clarify your question? Do you mean you need to call some business system from PI via SOAP? Or do you need to test integration model using SOAP client?
    If the requirement is to make a SOAP call to PI (send SOAP request to PI system), please refer to the guide which Stefan suggested in his post. The general procedure is the following:
    1. generate concrete WSDL in PI (you can do it via PI's Integration Directory);
    2. import generated WSDL to SOAP client (e.g. XML Spy described in the guide or soapUI which is free SOAP client);
    3. create SOAP request message in the SOAP client and send it to the endpoint (in this case, it will be sent to PI).
    This is general procedure for making SOAP calls to SAP PI using external SOAP clients. Please advise if specified steps should be described in more details or if there are any questions from your side regarding them.
    If the question is about calling business system from PI via SOAP, then please refer to SAP Help, configuration of SOAP receiver::

  • Updated my iphone with iOS7.0.3, still dont have the option to reject the call or reject the call with a message when someone call and the phone is in the lock screen?

    Updated my iphone with iOS7.0.3, still dont have the option to reject the call or reject the call with a message when someone call and the phone is in the lock screen? I was of the impression that this issue will be fixed with updates. Please see the screenshot.

    Hello Beardsell,
    This is when the phone is unlocked mode. My snapshot is when the phone is locked.
    Remember when you get a call when the phone is locked and you used to have slide to answer in iOS 6 and if you slide up you would have options to reject, reject with a message and reject with a reminder. We dont have that in iOS 7. iOS 7 *****,  I cannot get back to iOS6, apple needs to be user friendly. Screen shot 1 when the phone is locked, screenshot 2 when the phone is unlocked.

    ganesh

    Hi ganesh,
    Please try to disable the loop back check, compare the result:
    In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
    Right-click Lsa, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
    Type DisableLoopbackCheck, and then press ENTER.
    Right-click DisableLoopbackCheck, and then click Modify.
    In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
    Quit Registry Editor, and then restart your computer.
    In addition, please check if these links are useful:

    This gives the end user a wrong impression that whether the report is executed or still processing.
    Is there any way to set a text message or a processing symbol to show progress after the prompt selection?

  • Iphone message 'return to call' at the top of the screen won't go away

    I was on the phone when I received a text message and the iphone had the green strip at the top that said 'touch to return to call' so I touched it and it returned to the call but now the green strip with the message won't go away. Any suggestions? Do I have to go on itunes and return the iphone to factory settings? Will I lose all of my data if I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Basics from the manual are:
    Restart.
    Reset.
    Restore.
    Have you tried these?

  • One-way soap call do not throw exception

    Hello,
    I prepared a client for web service with JWSDP-2.0. wscompile generated proxy classes. The web service uses "basic authentication". Now comes my problem. wscompile generated stub which calls
    _sendOneWay((java.lang.String) _getProperty(ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY), _state);Because the web service is defined as: void ENCRYPTED_MESSAGE(SOAPElement)
    When basic authentication fails (I get HTTP 401 code - which I can see in debug created by JVM parameter -Djavax.net.debug=all ) then NO EXCEPTION is fired!!!
    When I change the wsdl and add dummy output parameter, then send((java.lang.String) getProperty(EN... is generated and authentication fires exception. But this is not the right way to do it.
    My question is - can I make wscompile to generate Stub without _sendOneWay?
    Thanks for yout time and attention!
    Honza

    I forgot to say that I am using JDeveloper 9.0.5.2 and that I have built an ADF application with Struts + ADF Business Components (bc4j)
    Thanks

  • Exception branch in a block without cancelling the process

    Hi all.
    I have an integration process with a Block where I process a multiline message interface. Inside the block, exception branch for controlling errors is used. When exception is thrown, the process of the pendant elements in the block is canceled. Is any way possible so that the pendant messages in the block can be processed after the error?
    Thanks,
    Gari.

    Hi Gari,
    yes, put 2 blocks in boxes. Outside block is multiline (looping) inside block is processing a single message using the exception branch. Dont stop the process at exception.

    "General Error Es ist ein Fehler bei der Proxy-Verarbeitung aufgetreten (  PART UNKNOWN (NULL)    )"

    We had a look at the ICF-Trace.
    The request seems to be a proper soap-call.
    But the response is not in XML-format and therefore could not be completely displayed.
    it says:

    Hello Mathias,
    in our case the problem was, that the WDSL used parameters, which were not correcty interpreted by the SAP-Routine that creates the proxy.
    We changed the WDSL using only paramters covert by SAP.
    Here ist the WSDL that worked fine:

  • SOMETIMES - Could not load com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.Envelope

    Hi there,
    Well, it is mysterious - not to say frightning !
    When I first start my tomcat I get an Exception like:; Could not load com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.Envelope
    The second time it runs well. No Exception about classloading. And the app is nice.
    Hmm, why ? Cant find out.
    I think that Exception has to have some relation to jars and where they are placed.
    According to the JAXWS-page I placed:
    jaxb-api.jar, jaxws-api.jar, jsr173_api.jar, saaj-api.jar
    in my %JRE_HOME%\lib\endorsed\
    so far so good !
    The rest of the needed jars to run JAX-WS Webservices are in my WEB-INF/lib FOLDER
    activation.jar and so on
    Any Ideas ?
    Here is the Exception I get when I invoke the Service

    Anybody help, please !

    First, thanks for your reply jitu.
    I dont get this exception anymore.
    Well, your hint was quite right, so I think I may give you the duke stars.
    I found out that putting the jars into the shared/lib dont work. Maybe it is because I am running 3 tomcat instances at the same time.
    I put all the Jax-ws libs into the tomcat_home/common/lib directory.
    And left the endorsed libs in the java endoresed directory.
    putting the endorsed libs in the tomcat_home/common/lib/endorsed may also work.
    regards and thanks,
    footman

  • Processing the batches of data in parallel

    Hi friends,
    Can any one suggest me how to process the bathces of data in parallel.
    Please see the requirement below.
    •     A new version of ZREDISND1_OLD named ZREDISND1_EINVOICE with the possibility of processing the blocked invoices with parallel processing capability. The program will process the blocked invoices and will have the same results / outcome as the old program ZREDISND1_OLD had.
    •     A new version of Z_RECTHI01_60 named ZRECTHI01_EINVOICE with the possibility of charging the amounts with parallel processing capability. The program will have the same results / outcome as the old program Z_RECTHI01_60 had.
    •     An umbrella-program ZREDISND1_UMBRELLA will have de same capability as ZREDISND1_EINVOICE but will split the data automatically into batches, initial by supplier and additional by Business Partner followed by Contract Account. It will therefore act as an umbrella program for ZREDISND1_EINVOICE.
    •     An umbrella-program ZRECTHI01_UMBRELLA will have the same capability as ZRECTHI01_EINVOICE but will split the data automatically into batches by suppliers. It will therefore act as an umbrella program for ZRECTHI01_EINVOICE.
    •     For the realisation of the umbrella-programs a new table must be created. The table must contain all the service providers which are charged by E-Facturering. Also the indication if the blocked invoices belong to the service provider are processed indirect (the old method) or directly (the new method) must be stored. The table name will be ZEINVOICE.
    I have to develop the umbrella programs.
    Please suggest to me how implement this. Its an Urgent

    We have 8 "short-fat" tables to hold the source data uploaded from the source file via SQL*Loader (the SQL*Loader step is fast). The data consists simply of strings of characters, which we treat simply as VARCHAR2 for the most part.
    These tables consist essentially of a case key (composite key initially) plus up to 250 data columns. 8*250 = 2000, so we can handle up to 2000 of these variable values. The source data may have 100 any number of variable values in each record, but each record in a given file has the same structure. Each file-load event may have a different set of variables in different locations, so we have to map the short-fat columns COL001 etc to the corresponding variable definition (for validation etc) at runtime.
    CASE_ID VARCHAR2(13)
    COL001 VARCHAR2(10)
    COL250     VARCHAR2(10)
    We do a bit of initial validation in the short-fat tables, setting a surrogate key for each case etc (this is fast), then we pivot+validate this short-fat data column-by-column into a "long-thin" intermediate table, as this is the target format and we need to store the validation results anyway.
    The intermediate table looks similar to this:
    CASE_NUM_ID NUMBER(10) -- surrogate key to identify the parent case more easily
    VARIABLE_ID NUMBER(10) -- PK of variable definition used for validation and in target table
    VARIABLE_VALUE VARCHAR2(10) -- from COL001 etc
    STATUS VARCHAR2(10) -- set during the pivot+validate process above
    The target table looks very similar, but holds cumulative data for many weeks etc:
    CASE_NUM_ID NUMBER(10) -- surrogate key to identify the parent case more easily
    VARIABLE_ID NUMBER(10) -- PK of variable definition used for validation and in target table
    VARIABLE_VALUE VARCHAR2(10)
    We only ever load valid data into the target table.
