Who locked my table (don't have dba rights)

Hi Gurus,
I am facing locking issue.
A job is running since last 06 hours and i am not getting any output. This job normally takes 01 hr or Maximum 01:30 (hrs: min).
I do not have sharp DBA skills.
Can someone let me know how to know either my table is locked by some other job/user?
Please remember, i don't have DBA/sysdba rights. I can see only in my schema.

How do you know that you are waiting on a lock and that the CBO has just not chosen a really bad plan for this specific execution of the query?
Ask the DBA to set up a role that has select privilege on v$session, v$process, v$lock, v$sql_text, and v$sql_plan and to grant that role to you (and probably all the developers).
Column v$session.lockwait will show if you session is waiting.
And you can view the actual plan for your session via v$sql_plan. This plan may vary from what explain plan shows if bind variable peeking or another Oracle run time tuning feature like SQL Profiles is in use.

i recently purchased a 21.5 iMac with Yosemite (10.10.1) and was disappointed to discover that my CS6 programs are not functioning correctly. Lastly, I'm unable to open any Camera Raw files. Any suggestions? I had no problems with the Mavericks OS on my old iMac and although it's much slower, I'm tempted to go back to using my old iMac. At this point, I feel as if I've just wasted $2300+ (tax included).

Back up all data before proceeding.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. If you've intentionally set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it, but you do need to follow the instructions below.
Step 1
If you have more than one user, and the one in question is not an administrator, then go to Step 2.

Sometimes a restart can fix this issue, but sometimes you have to fix the iTunes Library.itl file.
Try quitting iTunes, renaming the itunes file "iTunes Library.itl" to "iTunes Library Old.itl"
then open itunes again
This should generate a new library file.
From this point you can try two different avenues.
1. Re-add everything to your library by going to the iTunes file menu, and selecting "add to library"
2. You can try deleting the iTunes Library.itl you created, changing the name of the old file back to iTunes Library.itl
I hope this helps. I did something like this a while back and it worked for me.

No web site expert here but I would suggest changing the .m4v to .mp4 and ask one of those friends if they still have problems. .m4v is something I always associate with iTunes and don't really see it used elsewhere.

It should be in the Users/ Shared folder.
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Note the option to check and repair Library Permissions

I can't update (to 3.6.14) because Firefox has decided I don't have admin rights...but I do!

I am using my personal Macbook and I have the administrator rights on this computer. I can't update because Firefox tells me I don;t have administrator rights when I do. It advised me to download Firefox 3.6 and install. I decided to try and downloaded the dmg. But it won't install because Firefox still thinks I don;t have admin rights. I have used Firefox for years so the problem is not because I don't know what I'm doing. I also updated my friend's Mac without a problem.
At this rate I'll have to g back to Safari, which I haven't used for years!!

Thank you for reply, but i am not sure if you understand me. Why "non-devel" devices come crippled, non-developers don't have rights for manipulating with own device? Why Mozilla participating on delivery crippled device? Or why Mozilla recommended crippled devices on their websites?
The main problem isn't "my phone isn't rooted" but "Devices are sold crippled"
For example I have stored lot of sms/mms in my Firefox OS "non-devel" phone, how can backup it? (to SD card, to Computer ...) I read some how-tos but all failed, I Thinks all failed on non-root right, any tricks?

When I Consolidate I Get A Message Saying I Don't Have Access Rights

I just got a Macbook and I have music and video files on my old PC on both my hard drive and an old external hard drive (formatted NTFS). I am trying to consolidate all my videos and files to a new, larger and slimmer external hard drive (formatted FAT 32) so I can set up iTunes on my Macbook and start using that computer but while keeping the metadata in my songs (playcounts, ratings, etc.). I've followed the steps to set the default iTunes location on the new hard drive and began the consolidation process. It was working fine and about 2 GBs were consolidated into the new hard drive but then a message popped up saying that copying music failed because I don't have enough access privileges for this operation. Now I'm the only user on my PC and have admin rights assigned to me, so I'm not sure how this is possible.
If anyone could help me with this error message, I would be much appreciative. I'm ready to get rid of this old PC junker and start using my Macbook!

I was finally able to solve my problem and thought I'd post it here in case anyone else comes across this. A few years back, my hard drive crashed. I was able to recover my music files but I basically had to reinstall XP. When I did that, the music files that I saved were encrypted and "owned" by my old username. Since this username and permission file associated with it were now gone, any other user, including the admin or a username set up with the same username as the old one, could not unencrypt the folders with the music in it. So what I did was I opened Windows Explorer, navigated to my music folder, and found every artist folder that showed up in green on the screen, which indicates that the folder or file is encrypted. For every green folder, I created a temporarily created a new folder in my iTunes music folder with a similar name and copied the files from the encrypted folder into the new temporary folder. Then I deleted the encrypted folder and renamed the new folder the name of the just-deleted folder. Changing the name back to the just-deleted folder tricks iTunes into thinking nothing has happened with the files. Here's a little more detailed example:
1) I opened Windows Explorer and saw that my "Black Crowes" folder was showing up in green, meaning that it was encrypted.
2) I closed iTunes.
3) I created a new folder in my iTunes music folder called "Black Crowes2". When I hit refresh in Windows Explorer it should should show "Black Crowes" and "Black Crowes2" right next to each other.
4) I moved all the files from "Black Crowes" into "Black Crowes2"
5) I deleted the empty "Black Crowes" folder.
6) I renamed the "Black Crowes2" folder to "Black Crowes"
7) Finally, I opened iTunes and consolidate. I was able to consolidate the Black Crowes folder as it is no longer encrypted and iTunes is tricked into thinking nothing has happened to the files.
Of course, before you try all this you may want to try to make sure you use every username that is on your PC to see if that's the username that's associated with the encryption. You'll know that's the username that encrypted the files because the encryption box in the properties of the folder isn't grayed out (properties->general tab->click advanced.

Is there anything in your iTunes media folder? If not, the easiest way to fix this is to create a new one. To do this, launch iTunes while holding down the option key on your keyboard. In the dialog that comes up, select Create Library...
Once an empty library is created, you should be able to import media, either from CDs or by downloading from the iTunes store.
