Why am I getting very high values for the very low frequency region of a random signal?
I am tyring to produce a power spectrum graph for a Tachogram data, related to Heart Rate Variability Analysis. This data can be thought to be as a random signal, but has a frequency spectrum range of 0 - 1HZ.
The problem that I am facing is, I am getting very high values for very low frequency region, closer to DC value. Even the DC value is really high, in the range 10^8. It is suppose to be a low number. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Here is what my work is all about. I am trying to develop a software for Heart Rate Variability analysis. I am not sure if you are aware of heart beat waveforms, they are bunch spikes, occuring at irregular intervals. We have to do analysis on this waveform. How ? First we have to create a plot called Tachogram. This is done by, for example, let's name the first spike R1, the second one R2, and the third one R3, and so on. This is how the co-ordinate points are created. (R1, R2-R1), (R2, R3-R2), and so on...
Here R1 is the time instant at which the spike R1 occurs, and R2-R1 is the time difference between these peak occurences. So, if we plot these values, then it gives us one like what you saw on your time domain plot. What we have to do with this signal is, we have to apply FFT technique to produce its power spectrum for analysis. Generally the frequency range of the spectrum goes from 0 - 0.5 Hz. They part this range into VLF, LF, and HF, and analyze how much power is distributed in these regions. The distribution would tell you if you were stressed out,or have worked out, things like that. Normally, you can view spikes around LF, HF region. If you had viewed the power spectrum for the data that I sent, then that's what it pretty much looks like. I think I have said a lot about it now. Hope you get it.
We were talking about the "other component", I can't really see where it lies, must be in the 60-80 sec. range in the graph. If you look at the spectrum, I am getting a huge value around 0.0033 Hz, how do I minimize or remove this ?
Also, I am using Unevenly Spaced Signal Spectrum.vi, I am not sure what excactly is the unit for the Power Spectrum output. Technical Papers denote, Periodogram algorithm used by this VI, gives Power Spectral Density ? If that's right, then the unit is V^2/HZ.

How do I get a new value for the service name field and update it in Connection Properties?
I am running Windows Vista. I just upgraded to Firefox 4. When I try to log on to the internet, it tells me the proxy server is refusing connections. A diagnostic reported Error 815 and said the remote server is not responding because there is an invalid value for the "Service Name" field. It said to get a new value and update it in Connection Properties. How do I do this?
When you create a new film script, the first page you see is a title page.
The page after this title page is the one where you generally type in your scenes.
It looks like you are facing some issue and not able to delete any text.

It would appear that you are typing it in as text, not creating a formula. On the iPad, you don't type an "=" nor do you type the function name. You press the "=" button which then lets you start a formula. You choose the function by pressing the "functions" button then choosing it from the list. The function shows up in the editting bar with words in colored ovals for the parameters. You click on the various parameters in the formula to edit them. And you use the mathematical operators and click on cells or choose formulas to create mathematical operations. -
Why did I get an Emergency Alert for the Nemo Blizzard at 4 am?
This @^%^!*#*!&!@ system just sent a blaring alert to my iPhone at 4 am EST warning me about a blizzard I already knew about, literally scaring me out of bed. Apple, is this the right way for me to find out about some obscure little feature that was included in a recent release - turned on?Actually, I also got a FEMA warning via the same system on Thursday night, which was completely appropriate. But sending an alert with a klaxon-like sound effect at 4 am is just ponderously dumb. It's not like it's a flood where I might need to evacuate. How can I compute a very precise value for e?
So I've been looking around for a good algorithm to compute a very precise value for e. All the algorithms I've found all use a derivative of the old summation from 1->n of 1/n!. And this is accurate, however I need to calculate e out to several thousand decimal places and you simply cannot accuratly represent something of that precision with a common floating point variable.
Basically what I need is a method to seqentially calculate one decimal place at a time, or some kind of spigot algorithm where I can calculate a single nth decimal place. I've tried googling and searching these forums without any luck. I know there are spigot algorithms for PI and that there are ways to relate PI to e so maybe I'll have to use a combination of those. Anyone got any ideas?No it is not at all difficult to find the prime. And forgive me for being overly terse and jumping to conclusions in my posts. If I am wrong in my assumptions, I apologize. For thoses of you that are not following any of this, here is the back story:
I read in the newspaper yesterday that someone had placed a billboard ad that was a puzzle somewhere in sillicon valley specifing something like
[the first 10 consecutive digits in the decimal expansion of e that form a prime].com
I don't live in California and have not seen the ad and may have mis quoted it.
The article went on to say that Google had placed the ad, and that if you get the proper number and type it in you get to page that lists another puzzle. If you follow the chain of puzzles to the end you get an invite to submit a resume to Google.
I look at the forms this morning and find a post from someone that was thinking about needing e out to a large number of digits. When a practical method was suggested in the reply the OP points out that this is not for some "practical" purpose but for some "theoretical" purpose. I jumped to the conclusion that this was someone that wanted to solve the puzzle but didn't want to work to hard to do it.
My comments that the first 10 digit prime is 99 digits into the expansion it quite possibly irrelevant to the OPs original question. If there was some other "theoretical" purpose that requires some 800 Million digits of e, I apologize for my assumptions.
On the other hand if the OP just wanted to solve the Google puzzle, why not come clean, admit it, and tell us the problem that you want to solve rather than beating around the bush with nonsense about needing an algorithm that pops out the nth digit of e. I've already given you the spoiler of where it is in the expansion of e, If you want the rest of the spoiler, like what the digits are, and what the answer to the next question is as well, just ask.

Error with late payment (LATEPYMT) batch: getting multiple LPC values for every bill
In my Environment, the LPC value is getting generated more than once for every bill i.e., If i'ven't made a payment for two continue bills then the system is generating the current balance on this bill and again sepearatly another lpc value for the currentt balance on the previous bill which is duplicacy.
Anyone please help me in solving this issue.Please check if customer class code of "NA" exists. You can check this at ADMIN>C>Customer Class and search for an "NA" Customer Class Code.
If such doesn't exist, either add the customer class and check as to why the customer class of "NA" has been passed during program execution. You probably have an account that was configured with this kind of customer class.

I'm pretty new to the SAP Security and have been working on the Basis sides...I created a new role in PFCG and added a few transactions (ME13) and clicked on the Authorizations tab. In there, the authorization tree is in yellow and red. After providing the Org Values, only the yellow lights remain (apart from the green one ofcourse). Now how do we get the values for the different auth obj fields that are in yellow... say for example

HanamantaOk.. I assume your talking about the actual test result value. These do not roll up into the QM LIS structures used in transactions MCXA or MCXD.
You might be able to create your own structures and have them updated but you would have develop that.
You can create run charts for various MIC's and utilize the SPC functionality if you need monthly averages and trends.
If your batch managed you can easily get reports of batch values via the CL30N transaction. You'll want to make sure you have a characteristic for batch production or receipt date so you can sort and select by date. These can then be loaded to Excel for summing and averaging.

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to get Privacy Policy value for each userprofile in sharepoint 2010.
You need to use RunWithElevatedPrivileges method to impersonate user.
To get the get mobilephone policy, you can use user["CellPhone "].Privacy.

How to get item field values for old versions?
I need to be able to query old field values from previous versions of items in a SharePoint list. I can't execute code on the server (it needs to work with SharePoint Online/O365 for a start).
So far the ONLY API I've that lets me do this is the lists.asmx GetVersionCollection SOAP call.
This lets me specify a single field name and returns an XML structure with the values for the various versions, along with the modification time and who made the change - but NO reliable way of actually identifying *which* version (i.e. an ID or label). That
is, if I know I need to fetch the Title value from version 512 ("1.0") of item 1 in list "Documents", I don't see how to reliably parse the results to determine which entry is version 512. While they may be returned in order, in many cases
the entries are actually missing when there was no field value present (or perhaps when the field hadn't been created yet). I've tried comparing the Modified date to the Created date of the corresponding FileVersion item (which I can get via CSOM or REST),
and while it works some of the time, it's not reliable. I've also looked at the output from the lists.asmx GetVersion API but I don't see how that's useful either, as the Created property for all versions always seems to be just the date the file was originally
created.
It does seem odd to me that there's not a neat way of doing this - if I need to return information for several fields but just for a single version, I have to make a whole lot of requests that return far more info than I need, and then I need to figure out
how to parse the returned text in the case of, say, multiple-value taxonomy fields etc.
Anyone tried doing anything similar here?
