Why am I not able to type in new URLs in the location bar either in my current tab or any new tab in the middle of my session? I've never had this problem with any other version of Firefox.

For example, I had several tabs open in Firefox 4 just now. For no apparent reason, when I opened a fifth tab, I couldn't click on the location bar or type anything into it even with repeated attempts. I either have to start Firefox again or try going back to a tab that is already open with a page loaded and type into the location bar there. That worked for me to be able to get to this website. This is very frustrating and seriously hampering my ability to use Firefox--which I have previously always been impressed with. I have a 2 year old Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows Vista.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

This happens with all icon themes including default. I like having the large icons on the menu bar so hopefully this can be fixed.

New download won't open links, nor will it go to web addresses typed into address bar. Never had this problem with previous version.

I just upgraded to the newest version of Firefox. In this new version it sometimes won't open a link even in a search engine such ask Yahoo. It also won't ever go to an address I type into the web address bar. I have never ever had this problem with a web browser so I know it's not me. I've never had this problem with Firefox before either. Please fix this bug.

Tests by some of the web sites and magazines claim that the iPhone 5 is in fact more rugged than previous models. That doesn't obviate the possibility of an assembly defect that would make yours more susceptible to damage, but if you dropped or impacted them and they cracked, then your warranty will not apply and you'll have to pay for replacement, either the AppleCare+ "deductible", if you purchased AppleCare+ with your iPhone, or Apple's normal out-of-warranty replacement charge.
You can of course make an appointment at an Apple Store, explain the situation, and hope that there's something they can do for you. Don't count on it, though.

Are you sending files from the Adobe Send interface, Adobe Reader, or the Outlook plug-in?
Have you checked to see whether the files that you're sending appear in the Recent Files/Sent Files list when you're logged on to https://cloud.acrobat.com? (It could be that they're uploading, but not being sent.)
It would also be worthwhile to send the files in smaller batches, to see whether a particular file or files is problematic, and causing the error.
Please let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble, please let us know where you're sending from, and whether you're able to send the files in smaller batches. It would also be helpful to know the exact error message that you're receiving.

When someone calls, only the number appears on the MMI screen, not their name or whether they called from their office/home etc..   Same with missed calls, dialed numbers etc.. Names appeared on the screen of the phone, but not on MMI screen. Cannot dial by searching contact and name info while driving anymore. Never had this problem with previous iPhones. NIGHTMARE Finally Ends, after nearly two weeks.
After trying for over a week trying to get my replacement iPhone 4S to activate, I ended up driving 110+ miles to an Apple Store to get a second replacement, which had been specially shipped there for me. Popped in the SIM card, went through the setup and I finally have an iPhone 4S that works, at least for the time being.
Advice to others who find themselves in this situation:
     1)     If you get these messages (see original post), the phone is bad. Demand a replacement.
     2)     If the AppleCare tech advises that the Apple Agreement Administration team is investigating, you'll be waiting for a week or more for them to complete it. Demand a replacement immediately, don't let them put you off indefinitely.
After the initial phone call documented in my original post, I was in daily contact, phone & e-mail, with the AppleCare tech trying to figure out the problem, and we tried everything, from forced restore's to switching SIM cards, conferencing w/ AT&T, etc. It seems that this was a case of first impression to Apple, but if it wasn't, then the problem is not well documented or known by those who should know, and for that, the blame should be on Apple, not the AppleCare tech who worked tirelessly trying to figure out a solution--I'd send him a case of beer if I knew where to send it.

I am trying to upload pictures to website, but get an error message saying that server redirection is not suppoerted. What is this, and why does it happen? I've never had this problem before and it started after Firefox update yesterday.

Very strange how this does this. Producing pop up windowns like a right click and also zooing in and out by itself. If tried to report this and the steps taken were: 1 - reinstall software and 2. (which i havent done yet) , wipe it clean and start over...
This is a new late 2013 macbook pro 2600 computer laptop...

I can't find a solution to the adobe flashplayer that is associatied with Firefox. I keep getting script problems and am asked to either continue or ignore the problem. I've been a long-time user of Firefox and have never had any problems with Firefox or any associated programs (plug-ins) and so this is a surprise to me. I checked the version of the flashplayer and find that I have the most current version; so I'm not sure what's going on.

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Have just installed the latest Firefox update (4.01) and since doing so some Face book games such as Zooma are slow and have a drag effect...I never had this problem with 3.6...any suggestions welcome

Well, that's pretty made my decision final. I'm ditching firefox for good. The only reason I was willing to use it at all, was because of Ad block. I already tried uninstalling, disabling add ons, like I mentioned previously. The whole proceeding with Firefox safe mode thing sounds like way too much trouble than it's worth. Since I already have Safari Browser, that came with my Macbook, and I need Chrome Browser for using Blogger, I'm uninstalling Firefox and I'll just use those two. Chrome Browser annoys me enough of the time that I don't want to use it as my primary browser. Safari is fairly good though, especially if I only use it occasionally, that means if runs very quickly. Thanks for the advice. It's too bad. When I started using Firefox about 4 years ago, I loved it. Now it drives me absolutely crazy. I'll just start gathering all my passwords that are stored in Firefox and then uninstall it.
