Why am I not receiving ALL my e-mail in Ipad. I get it on PC and blackberry

why am i not receiving all my e-mails on ipad2? I get them on my blackerry and on my pc.

I believe most PC mail programs by default are set to delete messages from the server once they are downloaded onto the PC.  So if you access your email on your PC before your iPad checks for email some messages won't be there. To minimize this make sure you have Push set to on and Fetch set a short time limit (not Manual).

  • HT4356 Why can I not print attachments from gmail on my ipad mini, it will print photos and anything from safari

Why can I not print attachments from gmail on my ipad mini, it will print photos or anything from safari?

For Gmail attachments, if they are PDF files (as well as many other formats) when you are viewing them on the iPad in Safari there is an option to "Open in iBooks" just below the tab you have open (at the top of the page).
From iBooks you can print them to a wireless printer easily.
    Hope this helps.

  • Why am I not receiving all my texts?

I am receiving texts from some people but not everyone.  I'm not receiving them from my husband who has an iphone through Sprint, but he receives all mine.
I'm also not receiving them from another person who has an iphone but has AT&T.
I've rebooted multiple times, deleted texts to clear up everything and still nothing.  Help!

I, too, am having difficulty receiving text messages. Problem started back in Feb 2014. Messages arrive incomplete or broken up into 3 separate message packets. Spoke to VZW Tech Support at least 4 times with no solution.  Finally got them to initiate a Repair Request Ticket.
Sounds like this is a common problem. A couple of questions come to mind. Would the issue of not receiving text messages be due to the lack of cell site coverage in my immediate area?  or...could it be the current software version on my I-Phone. currently running Verizon Version 15.0.
Would like some help. Been a loyal Verizon customer 14 years.

  • Not receiving all messages through Mail 1.3.11

I utilize Comcast as my server.
Suddenly, I have a problem getting some incoming messages with my Mail 1.3.11 program.
I have no problem receiving ALL incoming messages at my comcast mailboxes,
    but
only SOME messages come through when I utilize my Mail 1.3.11 program.
(I cannot discern a particular pattern.)
I can't figure why I'm suddenly having this problem.
As far as I know, there are no firewall problems.

    dlinma,
    Can we check something here?
In Mail > Preferences > Accounts, then click that account... in "Account Information" this is what mine looks like:
Account Type: POP / Description: [email protected] / Email Address: [email protected] / Full Name: My Name / Incoming Mail Server: mail.comcast.net / User Name: email name before the @ only / Password: **** / outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.comcast.net
You can set the Special Mailboxes items at will.
    In "Advanced" I have this:
Enable this Account: Check / Include when automatically checking for new mail: Check / Remove copy from server after retrieving a message: Check... in the scroll bar: Right away / Prompt me to skip messages over: 600 KB / Account Directory: ~/Library/Mail... / Port: 110 / Use SSL: No / Authentication: Password.
Does yours resemble mine? The Skip Messages size is up to you, even if you use it (I did on dial-up and haven't changed it yet). Also, the port number may be different in another part of the country. Also, make sure you are "Online" with the account... on the Mail Menu Bar > Mailbox > Online Status... mine tends to timeout and go offline at times, but I get a little lightning symbol next to the inbox to show this (with the mailbox drawer open)... the port is maybe busier when that happens.
Now we have looked North, South and East... If these don't get it, we go West...

  • Why am I not receiving some incoming emails on my ipad ios7

Ever since installing ios7, I have not been receiving some emails on my ipad.  I have tried toggling email off and on in settings, and I have tried a hard reset, but neither have helped.  Never had a moment's problem with email before.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have had a similar issue.  I keep my account settings locked as in "don't allow changes".  Yet on both my ipad and iPhone running iOS7 the configurations have changed on me with regard to the type of encryptions to use and if to use SSL.
I don't know when this issue was introduced.  I found it as of this morning.  How those settings could hae changed when they are supposed to be "locked" is beyond me.
To fix it, I had to go into General-Restrictions--> Accounts  and Allow Changes
Then go through Mail-->My Account--> and renable the proper protocals to allow incoming mail.
BTW, I use IMAP and not POP.   This didn't affect all my e-mail accounts, just my primary one.
    Hope the feedback helps.

  • TS3899 I have 2 email accounts one from home & one from work, I do not receive all my email from work account & it gets removed once I look at it

I have 2 email accounts, 1 from home and the 2nd from my work which was set up by me recently, I am not always receiving my mail from my work account & once I do and look at it the mail is being removed from the inbox

In Mail Preferences/Accounts/each GMail account, set up the SMTP Outgoing Server for each account separately, going into SMTP name/edit/Advanced and specify the Username of each account.  The Outgoing servers must be two different servers, authenticated by the Username and Password of each.
Otherwise, the GMail SMTP server will change the from address to that of the account where the SMTP server was setup.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts   Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

  • Mac Mail not receiving all of my mail -- any ideas why not or how to fix?

My Mac Mail is my main work account -- I'm a freelancer & work from home. In the past month or so, about 4 work contacts have asked me why I haven't responded to emails I never received, which leads me to wonder how many other emails I haven't received. I don't care as much about dropped personal ones, but dropped work emails are a serious bummer.
Any idea how I can check what's going on or fix somehow? Not sure whether this is a Mac Mail issue or something else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could this have something to do with it?

  • Yahoo Mail not displaying all new e-mails on iPad

For the past two days, when viewing Yahoo Mail through Safari on the iPad, the number of new e-mails listed for the Inbox has not matched the actual number of new e-mails in the Inbox.  For example, it might say "Inbox (11)", but there are only 9 new e-mails actually in the Inbox (and, yes, I've made sure to load all the messages for viewing).  This problem only seems to occur when going through Safari on the iPad.  When I check my mail on my computer, the number listed matches the actual number in the Inbox.  It also displays the "missing" ones not showing up on the iPad.  I'd have to research it a bit more, but my initial guess is that the iPad version is only showing the new e-mails found after the final read e-mail.  For example, if new e-mails show up with timestamps that set them between mail that has already been read, then they aren't showing up in the Inbox, despite the fact that they are included in the number of new e-mails listed for the Inbox.  Again, this problem has only occurred the past 2 days and only when using Yahoo Mail through Safari on the iPad.

I've tried the Mail app in the past, but that had its own quirks (not being able to delete everything in the Spam folder at once, not all Contacts syncing over).  I don't have to worry about the pesky ads because I use Yahoo Mail Plus instead of the regular version.  I'm sure it's just a glitch that showed up when something was updated, and it will probably be back to normal soon.

  • I do not receive all my e-mailson all my devices. I seem to get them all on my iPhone 5s, but not all show up on my iPad and iMac. they are all set up the same. Any Ideas on what is going on and what I can do to remedy this? thanks

I have an iMac with OS X Lion 10.7.5,an iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and an iPad with iOS 7.1.2. all software is up to date. My problem is I do not receive all my e-mail on all 3 devices all the time. I seem to get them on my phone , but not all show up on my iMac or iPad. Any ideas as to what is going on and what can I do to resolve this issue? thanks

On the iPhone, go into Settings -> Store and turn off "Automatic Downloads" for Apps (and Music and Books, if you wish). You can also do that on the iPad to prevent it from going in the opposite direction.
That will stop any automatic downloading... to prevent them from coming over when using iTunes, select the phone (under Devices), Apps, and then uncheck "Automatically sync new apps." Again, do the same for the iPad if you wish.

Do you have MMS enabled - settings - message - MMS - on
Are you provisioned by your phone carrier to use MMS?
If all else fails you will need to contact your phone carrier as MMS is a carrier feature.

  • Style not receiving all email messages

I recently changed mail-servers. Neither the current nor the previous mail server are in house. We route our in-house email through MS Exchange Server. We do not run BB Enterprise Server so I have set up my BB Style to go directly to the external mail server. I am using MS Outlook 2010 on my desktop computer.
My BB Style is not receiving all the emails coming to me. Some emails come through our MS Exchange Server but not to my BB. Other emails are received both on my device and desktop.
Any ideas why this is happening.
    Barry
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Referring back to Post 2 in this thread -- if your email server (the one facing the Internet, with which BIS interacts) is capable of reconciling with the BB (via BIS) items deleted on the server, then you have no choice in the matter, given what you've now been told.
If you absolutely must retain all items on your BB, then you would I suppose need to set up an auto forwarder that sends everything you receive in your Outlook client out to a different email address. Then you integrate that to your BB so that you can keep that library of items on your BB. You, of course, cannot use those items for any useful purpose (e.g., if you reply, it'll be coming from this secondary email address), but at least you'd have them on your BB.
What your IT person told you is, however, quite unusual indeed. MS Exchange is intended to be a post office and mailbox containing entity, and has a ton of other power as well. I've never actually heard before of anyone using it in this manner, requiring that the client app remove items from the server (encouragement is always in place, via mailbox size quotas and such...but the requirement is rather unusual in my experience). That requirement would seem to make your MS Exchange environment function much more like a POP/SMTP environment, negating all of the power of MS Exchange, and thereby causing me to think that you are not getting the value from that environment that it offers. But, to each his own!
    Good luck!

  • Why am I not receiving a requestcode?

I bought a 1 year license for Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium for Windows on Slim.nl. I could not install it succesfully, because the software couldn't "see" that I was connected to internet (and you have to be connected to instal the software correctly, or I can only use it for 7 days). I tried to activate it offline, but when I made a Adobe account and logged in, the webpage told me that I should have received a requestcode, I presume via e-mail. I have not gotten any mail from Adobe (beside the e-mail to verify the mail adress to be able to post on this forum). I can use the software now, but only for the next 6 days, until I am able to succesfully instal all the software.
    My questions:
How could it be that the software didn't "see" I an had internet connection? (I tried multiple times, with multiple wifi-spots)
Why am I not receiving a requestcode?
[I did get the page for the requestcode in Dutch, so maybe "request code" isn't the proper term I am using]
I hope someone can help me with this problem, so I can use te software the entire year, instead of only this week.

RubyManuela please see Sign in, activation, or connection errors | CC, CS6, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html for information on how to resolve the error with your Internet connection.
Also I would recommend you contact the reseller which you purchased your one year use of Creative Suite 6 through if you continue to face difficulties with the redemption code.

  • Not receiving all tasks in UWL (IUWLItemManager)

I'm creating an stand-alone application for the UWL (so you don't have to use the portal), and I followed this blog:
    /people/kenichi.unnai/blog/2009/10/19/how-to-use-uwl-api-for-netweaver-bpm-tasks
My problem is that I'm not receiving all my tasks with the IUWLItemManager, I only get some old completed tasks!
I already took a look at the uwl API link provided, but I couldn't find anything.
Does anyone have any idea why I'm having this problem?
    Thanks in advance!
    Lynne
ps I'm using NWDS CE 7.11

I was able to solve my question myself:
    using the method
                   QueryResult result = itemManager.getItemsForItemType(uwlContext,ItemType.UWL_ITEM_TASK, null, null);
I get the tasks I was looking for. The other method seems to only give back a selection of items (allready completed etc.)

  • .Mac account not receiving all emails

I am not receiving all emails to my main .Mac account. I do receive emails and would never known there was a problem until people started calling to find out why I haven't responded. I have a main .Mac account and two alias accounts, but the address that the emails are being sent to are my main account. Any ideas?

The junk mailbox is empty. I checked my preferences and disabled it for now to see if that will make a difference. I do have some Rules set up to filter known "sales" emails to delete or change the color but I have not set up any rules to move or filter from friends.
