Why are my photos on iPhoto all zoomed in to a face and I can't see the entire photo?
It says the photos are all 240x240.
Then you have imported the face thumbnails - did you recently move to a new machine and import your old library? Hint - NEVER import one iPhtoo library into another one - it does not work and creates a massive mess
If you did import yoru old library then drag the bad library to the desktop and Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.
once you have a good working library trash the bac one on the desktop

I just downloaded iCloud on my PC and noticed that fewer than half of my photo stream photos have transferred over to my PC. Why is this happening and how can I get the remaining photos? All of my devices are charged and have perfect internet signals. Thanks in advance for any tips and insights!
It's probably happing because photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days (even though your last 1000 photos will remain on your devices until deleted). When you enabled photo stream on your PC you would have only received photos from the last 30 days.
To transfer older photos to your computer, create a shared photo stream that contains them and invite yourself as a subscriber (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99). -
Only some of the photos I have taken on my iPhone appear in the photo stream on my iPad even thou they were taken at the same time. Why is this and how can I import the other photos from my iPhone to my iPad?
If older photos are missing it may be because photo stream photos are only held in iCloud for 30 days. After that they are removed from iCloud but will remain (up to 1000 photos) on your device until deleted. Also, only photos taken after enabling photo stream are added to your photo stream, and only when the camera is closed, your device is connected to wifi and you have at least 20% battery life remaining.
To transfer the missing photos you can either create a shared photo stream containing them and invite yourself to it (see http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99), import the photos to your computer and sync them to your iPad, or use an app like PhotoSync to transfer them to your iPad over wifi. -
The lock screen on my IPad zoomed in on itself. It is zoomed in so far that I can't unlock it, and I can't see the 'slide to power off' option. I've tried to reset it numerous times. Any suggestions? Help please!
Try double tapping the screen with three fingers to return to normal size. If it works go to settings> general> accessibility> zoom> off.

My kid down loaded mackeeper and now I can not get rid of it. I have tried all techniques suggesting on several sites and still can not empty the trash can. keep getting error code -8003. Help.

See the attached photo. I have a photo open but I cannot see the top part of the application. It will not let me scroll up. I cannot move the application. When I click on F3 I can see the full screen and can see the photo but as soon as I click anywhere it goes back to the cup off screen.
That's the organizer? Sorry, but the Grab menu is in front in your screenshot.
If so, go to your username>library>Application Support>Adobe/>Elements Organizer/11.0>organizer and delete status.dat.
BTW, just for future reference, you don't need to bother with Grab for general screenshots. Cmd+shift+3 captures the whole screen, cmd+shift+4 and drag to capture part of it. Here are some other shortcuts (article is for 10.8 but they're the same in 10.9) -

My Iphone 4 has slightly zoomed in on the screen and I can't see icons on bottom or read whole screen. Can somebody advise, I am sure a simple solution?

I transferred photos from iphoto to a Seagate external hard drive and now I cant access the photos
When I plug in the hard drive to my macbook, I can see the iPhoto folder but it tells me that it is not accessible since Time Machine is running.
All I want to do is pull a few pictures off of the hard drive. So frustrating! Any help is greatly appreciated!I tried turning ogg Time Machine but I am still unable to access any photos. The actual message that I receive when I try opening iPhoto on the hard drive is 'You can't open the application iPhoto because it is in a Time Machine backup.' Am I trying to open the wrong thing? I have looked for photo files but didnt find any. Thanks for your help!

I have a couple thousand pictures in iphoto divided into several folders. While working with them the images disappeared and are only represented by dotted outlines where the picture was. Events are also represented this way. When the cursor is run across them the photo will appear briefly, but will not pull up. I am not able to view them for long. What is causing this and how do I fix it?
Any ideas?Going forward when you have iPhoto problems you will probably get a faster response by posting in the iPhoto forum. I would recommend Rebuilding the iPhoto library.

I can see my photo in the events window but I can't see the actual photo
I can see the preview of the photo but when I try to open it I get a gray exclamation point. How do I find the original and or why is this happening?
The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
What version of iPhoto? Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Uploading to the web and I can't see the photos in iPhoto
I have events in my iPhoto up until a couple of weeks ago. When I go to upload to snapfish, the most recent imports don't show up.
How can I fix this?first I go to snapfish and select the album i want to upload to, then through snapfish it pops up the upload screen to choose the pictures. I'm looking under the media section, under pictures. I have pictures in there, just none of the recent stuff I uploaded to iPhoto.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago and I searched the web for answers. I found some sort of disk utility thing to do and that works. Now, I can't remember where I found that info or what to do. -

Ok, I had this problem until 5 minutes ago. What i did:
1 - disable Wi-Fi
2 - disable Bluetooth (that's the great villain)
3 - enable Wi-Fi
4 - Icon Appears, able to conect. If you need Bluetooth, after you conected to Apple TV, you can Enable again.
On iPhone 4S are the same steps, turn off Wi-Fi, turn off bluetooth, reconect wifi, tap twice at home button, scroll to volume, and the airplay is there.
