Why do some tracks not get added to my albums? how to fix?

Hi guys
First post so easy on the noob
When I import CD's into itunes it often doesn't recognise the album name so won't import artwork.
However if I edit the album and give it a different album name or artist etc it will often pickup the correct artwork. But when I do this it often drops tracks of of the album playlist.
So I import say 15 tracks and all are named correctly but no artwork is found. I rename album and yay, I now have the artwork but now only 4 of the 15 tracks are showing when I open the album to see the playlist.
The tracks kicked from the album get moved to the unknown album folder, so the question is what do I have to edit or what do I have to do to get them back in the right album folder where they belong?
I hope someone can help.

See http://samsoft.org.uk/iTunes/grouping.asp - the unknown album issue seems to be a intermittent problem when Use Album Artists is enabled. Close and reopen iTunes and it should sort things out.

To sum it up for you.
Have you any idea, how many posts we helpers browse every chance
we get? The most time consuming are the numerous posts, that
have the correct answer, but never get tagged that way by the requester..
So we browse and browse only to find the answer in there...ergo (time's wasted).
I've just recently started in here...Can't imagine how many posts the hardcore
guys have browsed in vain...
The criteria for answering posts is: We need to be online

Why do some imessages not get sent to my iphone

both my ipad and my iphone are set up to receive imessages sent to either my phone number or email. sometimes when ppl imessage me it will only get sent to my ipad. whenever it happens its always part of a conversation that previously had been working just fine. its frustrating bc i will come home to see a imessage sent hrs or even the day before on my ipad but it never shows up on my iphone which i always have. they are both running the latest version of ios (6.0.2 for iphone and 6.0.1 for ipad). i dont care if my ipad misses a imessage every once in awhile but i expect my iphone to get every one of them. any suggestions?

I also have the same problem. Just today i got a really important imessage, but only on my ipad which was at home, so got to read the message too late. Quite annoying. I also have the latest versions of ios, and iphone 5 and ipad 2. Thanks for your help.

Trial versions have no functional limitations, though your setup/situation might not be supportive of all functionality. You'll need to identify specific issues to get help with them. You should be posting in the DW forum instead of here if your issue does not have to do with downloading/installing.

    1.    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
    2.    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
    3.    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

The message in simple English just means that "You are doing something really bad" !!! It is absolutely not the communication problem, but understanding problem.
Though you may be executing the same function using SE37 or in the webshop application through JCo, the runtime context is different and without knowing what exactly your Z rfc is doing, it is very difficult to help. To start with, the userid - that is who is running the RFC is different in both situations. In SE37, it is the logon user and in the web, depending upon whether the connection is stateless or stateful, it could be the anonymous ICSS user or the logged in user. Here again, if you have used UME, it is the user id and if you have used ALIAS user, then it is the alias user id. This is just an example. Your runtime context can be different due to many other reasons too.
So, to make this simpler - what is that you are trying to do?
BTW, try not to create multiple threads for the same issue..

Arrears amount not getting added to /559

Dear Experts,
We want to pay September’14 arrears, September’14 Leave Salary and October’14 salary to the employee.
In system arrears and leave salary is calculated correctly also wage types are displaying in payslip as well as in RT tabel.
But in T-code pc_payresult arrear and leave salary amount is not getting added to the /559.
Amount showing in /559 is only October’14 salary.
We have checked all the processing classes and cumulation classes for all the wage types.
Need your help to resolve this issue.

When talking about a Payroll problem, it is always useful to indicate what Country code is involved since Payroll may not work the same for all Countries.
Your screen capture does not enable us to identify what WTs cumulate in /101 (Total gross), but if I substract /110 (Net deductions) from it the result is nearly the sum of /559 (Payment), which looks OK (the difference may be a WT that does not cumulate in /101 but impacts /559).
Use t-code PC00_M99_DLGA20 to confirm if WTs 1003 and 4003 cumulate in /101.
Are WTs 1003 and 4003 considered "Information WTs" for payments that must be done at a later date?

Disc Burner. Why are some files not readable or writeable?

Hello,
I am trying to backup my friends computer files on a beige G3 (233 MHz). I am burning about 6 DVDs of AIF music files. Most of the files are about 30 - 40 Megs in size. Often I receive error messages on particular files that read:
"The operation cannot be completed because some data cannot be read or written.
(Error code - 36)"
Followed by the choices: "Stop" or "Continue".
I have a bad feeling that my startup disk is too small but I am not sure.
Most of the files work fine. However some of the files cause disc burner to not be able to use them in the disc image before I burn. Why would this be?
Here are the specifications:
Computer: beige G3 with two hard drives (one SCSI and one ATA hard drive) and a Pioneer DVR-110D DVD writer which is Apple supported (Apple system profiler indicates Apple supported on this DVD writer). My blank DVD disks are Sony Vermatim DVD-R (1 - 16x speed support). Although I think my beige G3 only writes them at about 2 or 4x.
I am using OS 10.1.5. My startup disk which has OS 10.1.5 in it is a 4 GIG SCSI disk. Is this big enough for a startup disk (for creating 4.5 GIG DVDs)? My files are on the second hard drive which is a 40 GIG ATA disk.
I have a bad feeling that my OSX startup drive is too small for disk burning - it is only 4 GIGs in total and OSX Disc burner (Disc copy) is first making a disk image on my startup volume before it burns it. Perhaps that disk image is too large for the startup volume. Is there any way I could ask OSX to put this disk image on the second larger hard drive instead (not the startup drive?).
Here is my process (I hope I am doing this right - I am new at this):
1. I first insert a blank DVD-R
2. A message pops up asking my if I would like to create a blank disc image for this disk (I think this is the typical Disk Copy utility window. I say "yes" and give it a name and choose the "DVD-R or DVD-RAM" option. (I am not sure if there are other important settings to choose here or better settings to use but I guessed the other options that seemed obvious. A blank disk image is created with an icon that looks like a DVD disk.
3. Then I drag my chosen files to this blank disc image. It takes about 30 minutes to copy over. Thats when I receive the error message that some files couldn't be "read or written". The other files work fine but it would be nice if they all worked.

4. Then I choose file/burn in the top menu and the DVD is created. This takes another 20 - 30 minutes. At the very end of the process another message pops up saying:
"Sorry the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occured (error code -28)" Followed by an "OK" button.
However all the files that made it onto the final DVD are fine - its just that its not all of the ones I originally chose in the first step when dragging to create the disk image.
Am I doing this the right way?
Why are some files not "readable or writeable" as it indicates in the error message?
Is my 4 GIG startup disk too small for this? or are the music files possibly corrupt? or could there be some other possible problem?

To follow up, I have some good news. After following your advice Kappy, it now works very well Thanks! Instead of using the 4 GIG volume for the OS, I am now using an 8 GIG partition on an 80 GIG drive. So now the OS has some room to operate. No disk errors occured on my first DVD
Now there was one problem. The second DVD burned gave me an error. I am not sure why but I am going to guess that because I had to installed the OS onto an 8 GIG partition maybe the OS needs to be rebooted in between disk burns because although 8 GIGs is certainly greater than the 4 GIGs I gave it last time, it still isn't a lot of space - maybe just enough to do one DVD at a time. Thats only a guess. So I rebooted to see if that clears the system out ready for the next DVD and I am trying to burn the second DVD again. If I remember I will report back. In any case, yes, this seems to be working. I hope this second DVD burns well too.

Net Pay calculation is wrong, allowance wage type is not getting added to net amount..

We are doing payroll configurations for one of our client in india, Regarding our requirement ,we jus tried in test system, we have written a pcr rule stating 01st feb 2015, new allowance need to paid to employees belonging to L&T1 pa and LT ESG.. Allowance will be percent based on gross pay..allowance percentage differs according to the ESG..
Before writing the PCR, Allowance percentage has been maintained in T511K.. And have configured as payroll constant ZTST 1 should be calculated with a value 2%.
i have created a new wage type 9021 allowance wage type and this wage type amount should be automatically generated in payslip based on the pcr i have written while running payroll for an employee.
EARNINGS                                                       DEDUCTIONS
l&t basic pay 9000             54838.71                    INCOME TAX
l&t conveyance 9100            2741.94                   12394.00
l&t hra           9200               4387.10
l&t allownace 9021                1239.36
TOTAL Gross amount          63,207.11              Take Home pay (net pay) 49,573.75
But the actual net amount should be 50,813.11..Based on the allowance wagetype i have created which is automatically generting using the pcr i have written , is getting calculated in the gross amount..
but not getting added in net amount .so please help me out guys on how to solve this issue???

i have checked the processing classs and i have maintained 5 and 70 which add this new allowance amount to my net amount. now the net amount is proper.

                          User defined fields does not get added into database , when i click add button it
shows data added sucessfully , but when i check data base no entry is made , only entry is made for
B1 fields , like DocEntry ,DocNum etc.., no entry is made for U_fields..
I have check every thing databound is also set to true
Actually first few 6 data was added properly but now its not geeting added for user fields
I have used 2 document row child table for 2 matrix and for remaining Document table
What might be the problem

A custom perks wagetype not getting adding to taxable salary

Hi experts.
I need advice on the below issue.
My client recently raised this issue. There is this custom perk wage type which they pay through Infotype 14. Now while generating form 16 the amount paid through this wage type is not getting added to Gross salary in F 16.
I checked the configurations for this wage type in table V_512W_D and found that it doesn't cumulate to anything(Total gross salary, Annual irregular income etc) and hence it is not getting added to Gross salary in F16. Which means due to wrong configuration of this wagetype the problem occured.
Even if I correct the configuration now, the payroll has already been run and results cant be reversed as financial year 2014 books are closed now.
So is there a way to add the custom wage type amount to Gross salary in F16. I explored table V_T52D3 and V_T52D4 but it cant be done through it.
Kindly suggest how to correct this issue by atleast correcting the amounts in Form 16.

I am talking about Gross salary total on page one and not the segregation of components of Gross salary on pg 2. In the segragation it can be added but can it be added in the total of Gross salary on page 1?

Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Download and install the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 Combo Update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
