Monkemackan, welcome to the forum.
The normal reason for games lagging is one of three components:
1) CPU
2) Memory
3) Video device
In your case, the memory should be fine. It is no doubt either the CPU or video device. My suspicion is that it is the video card. I suggest looking at the Windows Experience Index in the Control Panel / Performance information and tools. I suspect that the video card will have the lowest rating.
Have you tried running the game on lower settings; low-medium or lower? This may help the lagging.

Refresh DSV - why does it keep indicating it "Added" things, when its already been done? (repost from DW forum)

There were a number of changes done and earlier I had used the "refresh" button in the DSV view, and the updates were reflected in the DSV. Now, however everything should be updates, yet when I hit refresh, the dialog still comes up and list
all the changes it did earlier as "Added". What is going on here?
Now however, all my tables, dimensions, relations etc are setup with no errors and the cube builds, processes and deploys without any errors, yet if I refresh the DSV, I still get the dialog that displays all the things that it "sees" as "Added".
This is even after closing down BIDS and re-opening.
Also, I wonder if this has something to do this this thread, since its concerning the DSV getting "confused"

According to your description, you need to know why the dialog still comes up and list all the changes it did earlier as "Added" when there is nothing changed in the data source view, right?
I have tested it on my local environment. We use the sample project AdventureWorks, we didn't make any modification on the DSV and click the Refresh button, and all the changes were list on Refresh Data Source View dialog. So as per my understanding, this
is default settings. If we click the button, it will list all the changes from the date when you create this project.

Why does my mac pro slow right down when its on battery....... cant watch dvds as they keep jumping, internet slows down as does everything, then i run it off the mains and its all fine again, so my mac book pro has not become very portable, please help

CS6 is not discontinued it is the last perpetual version of Adobe products and is still being marketed. Adobe prefers you to join the cloud. However Adobe knows many intelligent customers will not be joining their cloud.

Why does the brightness turn up to max on its own?

I have an iPhone 5 with ios 7.1
I dont have auto brightness turned on and keep my brightness around 40% so I dont drain my battery and its as bright as I need it.
I noticed the brightness turning up to full brightness by itself whether im inside or outside and cant figure out why or how. Its very annoying.
I also turned it onto auto brightness to see if it would help but it is still doing it up to max by itself. Can anyone help please?

Why does playback on the timeline lag on my premiere elements 9 project?

Whenever I playback my edit on the timeline, it starts off playing fine, but after a few seconds it starts to lag. I am using a macbook pro (2.4GHz intel core 2 duo processor, OS X V10.9.4), and was initially editing off a WD hard drive connected with a Firewire800 cable. I have shifted all my rushes and the premiere elements project file from the hard drive to my laptop, but that doesn't seem to work. Project settings and Clip settings seem to match, otherwise I wouldn't be able to open the project file anyway. I fiddled with some of the playback settings, but nothing seemed to work. I need to rush out a piece of work asap. Any ideas?

Am I correct in assuming that you are saying that this Timeline playback lag can be seen even with only one 1 minute clip on the Timeline? If not,

Did you understand what I wrote early on about Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 being a 32 bit application when run on 32 or 64 bit computer? Do you use the computer for programs other than Premiere Elements? I asked since you wrote

A 32 bit system is typically characterized by maximum supported installed RAM = 4 GB and typically 3.2 to 3.0 or less of that being available. So, why the upgrade to 16 GB of installed RAM?
I guess I didn't quite understand the 32 bit system thing. But i kinda get the idea now. In any case, my computer seems to be running faster than usual even though it didn't solve the elements 9 lagging issue.

I have no antivirus installed. But i did try turning on and off the firewall. With the firewall on, the lag seemed to get worse.

There is no Premiere elements 12 available for trial download. Only premiere elements 13. Have downloaded that and copied the project file into elements 13. The lag is still there, but not as bad. But, it is still there.

My apple TV keeps lagging/freezing then it catches up with it self when im watching a film from my mac or on itunes and if i bought a film from apple it does the same thing. Ive had this apple TV for over a year and never had a problem, then all of a sudden about 6months ago it has these problems, iv'e done all the updates and reset etc and still the problem is there, i have really fast internet so i dont know what else to do. I was going to buy a new one then i read that someone else had same problem and bought another one and that one has the same problems too. Lots of people are saying that its apples fault as they havent got an update for it yet, and because of the last update these are the problems we are having now.. How can I resolve this problem? is this a problem with the apple tv?

Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. Networks that have inherent issues can be seen to work differently with different versions of the same software. You might also try moving the Apple TV away from other electrical equipment.

Why does bonjour make my internet lag

Everything on my computer that uses the network lags worse than using a 14k dialup. What's up with that? As soon as I killed 2 processes related to Apple/iTunes the network runs great. One of the processes was mdnsresponder.exe. Dont remember the other one. Each one was causing 10-25 connections with other apps. I'm about to treat it like a virus and purge it if it doesn't get fixed.

Why does my iPhone become so lag and slow after downloading iOS 8?

My iPhone 5S and iPad Mini Retina Display become so lag after after downloading iOS 8. When i open an app or press any button, it response very slow. For instance, opening a Facebook app take about 30s for it to load, answering a phone call take half a seconds to response. Not only that, my iPad keep restarting when I am FaceTime-ing about 3 minutes. This update has got me so frustrated! It is so unstable!

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Why does apple have this stupid thing where you cant change your apple id to another persons and then change it back? Its really annoying and why 90 days!!!!!!!!!!

There is a very good reason why Apple does this.
Basically it is to prevent people from sharing purchased content with their friends. If you buy an app that costs lets say $19.99 and you let a friend sign into your ID on his device in order to download that purchase for free - that is what most people would call stealing. And your not just stealing from Apple - you are really stealing the bulk of the money from the app developer.
There is nothing that you can do now. You have to wait the 90 days. And it is highly unlikely that any feedback to Apple is going to matter. I don't see them changing this anytime soon.

Why does my html page have no pics when its uploaded?!

Hey guys, so I have a website and a bunch of pages on it, they are all from a template I made, but now I am trying to create a seperate kind of page that is not based from the template and it is just an html file.
it all works fine and dandy until I take a look on the internet on the site, all the images are not there! everything else works and looks great but it shoes no pics even though the page uses the exact same pics that other pages use! so the pics are on my remote server but justdont work for this one page
can you guys help me figure out why not and how to fix this?

ya I forgot to say that they never uploaded in the first place, because I did upload those pics but this is what it says in the dialogue box for those files:

so it seems I don't have permission to put those files on and I dont know why

Why does Adobe CS (1st program of the day) open really slow

I have a user that turn's her computer off at the end of the day, everyday. When she comes into work the next day she will turn her computer back on. After it boots up, she logs in and everything loads up she will usually open Indesign first, (but if she opens Photoshop first it will happen with Photoshop...It is whatever Adobe application that is opened first). Photoshop will load a little quicker than Indesign, but this problem is primarily an Indesign issue. It has been clocked that when that Adobe Indesign is opened it will take upwards to 5 minutes to completely open.
It has been seen that while Indesign is taking that long to load...if you go ahead and open Photoshop...Photoshop will completely open and be ready to use before Indesign is finished opening.

I have a mini iPad. On my find friends it keeps flashing and is driving me crazy. It doesn't do it on my husband iPad though. Please help.

Not a great answer... Next time it happens instead of turning Home Sharing on and off I would try shuting off iTunes on the computer and then restarting iTunes. If ATV can then connect to home sharing the problem is iTunes is hanging. If that is the case my only idea is re-installing iTunes.
