Why is it that when I put some of my albums on itunes many of the song don`t download?
I`ve checked anumber of the albums in my cd collection to itunes,but many of the songs on the cd`s don`t show up in itunes,can you help?
If you are looking at the album's list of songs by artist, the Artist field for some songs on an album may be different. For example, most of the song on the album may have "Artist A" as the entry in the Artist field, but a few may have a guest artist and use "Artist A & Artist B" or "Artist A feat Artist B" in the Artist field.
Those may be the songs you are missing from the album, IF you are looking at the album list by first selecting the artist. They are in your library, but if you have iTunes or the iPod sort first by Artist, and then select the Album, all the songs may not be on the list.
If you search in your iTunes library by the name of the songs you do not see, can you find the songs?

When you say they are low quality, are you referring to file/pixel size, or how the picture looks? As far as upside down, how are you holding the phone? Older versions of Windows have issues reading the Metadata from the pictures and will not display the same.

Also, If y ohave a 5G iPod/iOS 7, purchase songs will show with an cloud icon by them if they are not downloaded if Shall All is turned on in Settings>iTunes and App Store

HelpHere's how iTunes works. You add a file to iTunes. iTunes makes a note of where that file is located, gets information from it about artist, etc, and writes the information to its library file. iTunes doesn't look at that file again until you play it. It knows where to find it when it needs it. However, sometimes things happen so the file is no longer where iTunes expects it to be. In many cases this is because the user has renamed a file or folder in the file's pathway, or moved the file. In extreme cases it can happen because a hard drive is dying.
When iTunes invites you to find the file, it is asking you to do exactly that. If you renamed the file you need to remember what you called it and where you put it and point to it to rebuild the link. Sometimes if people move all their files to different drive you need to point to one and iTunes may be able to find others given that information and assumptions as to where the others should be located relative to that.
It is also possible files have gone missing. In that case you need to restore them from their original source or a backup you make regularly of your computer knowing that some day it is 100% guaranteed your drive will fail and you will be very happy you have a copy of everything on another drive. -
Had to have my hard drive rebuilt in my PC (not a Mac). When I reinstalled my music library from itunes, some of the songs did not properly download. They appear in light colored ink, but will not play and will not synch with my iPod. How can I get all of my songs back?
If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Why is it that when I put my movie from iMovie on the desktop it gets shaky?
I made a movie on iMovie that is clear and not shaky. However, when I try to download the movie to the desktop, the whole movie is shaky. It is shaky when downloading with QuickTime and when I try to "Export Movie." I use iMovie '09, version 8.0.6. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can prevent it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Why is it when I bought my first generation iPad in October 2010 the sales rep at the Orange County California South Coast Plaza store suggested that I buy Mobile Me service for $99 which he assured me was a one time charge and now, of course, Mobile Me has been discontinued and I've been "forced" to move to the Cloud and I'm being provided with another year of what Apple calls complimentary service with the clear indication that in a year I'm going to be asked to pay again for something I paid a one time charge for two years ago?
Mobile Me was the successor to .Mac (dot mac) which was "free" to all users but for a limited time. It included a free email address @mac.com and an amount of what we would now call "cloud" storage that went by the name of iDisk. iDisk worked great but with only dialup service for me it was barely useful.
So I didn't think much of dot-mac but lots of people thought it was worth paying for, so they did. Apple wanted to make it even more useful and integrate it with their portable devices which we all know as iPads and iPhones, and assembled a team to make it all work. This was to be called Mobile Me.
They failed miserably. Lots of people including me looked at the final product and said "huh?" Unfortunately for the Mobile Me engineers, one of those people was Steve Jobs. He first humiliated them quite publicly, then disbanded the team, including firing at least one senior manager who shall remain nameless.
This was the rocky beginning of what is now called iCloud, which is the "free" service I should have explained. iCloud includes an email address @me.com, and the 5 GB of "storage" which aggregates things like iWork documents, your email, calendars, Photostream, and iPhone backups.
You can buy more storage if you need more than 5 GB, but if you have more than that it's still free through September 2013.
What happens if you have more than 5 GB stored on iCloud and on September 2013 you don't pay? I'm not sure, but you have a year to think about it. -

When I put some Stars in a review, my comment shows zero Star...

I realised that when I put some stars in an app review, my comment shows zero star when I come back later to see this review. When I want to correct it and modify my review, it shows the stars that I gave but when I validate my comment again, the comment is published with zero stars. It's a problem for the developpers that I want to review... what's this bug in the app store ?

I don't know if you can get anything out of this file, but I would try opening the file in the Finder and see if you see any folders in there. There is a chance you could find some AVCHD folders that you could do something with. -
Question: why is it that when I email either a word document or a pdf file the receipient of my email get these files in an unreadable format i.e. not in word file nor in pdf file formats, and consequently they are unable to open these files and read them? Thank you!

Hello all
This has been bugging me for a little while. I bought myself a new bluray player awhile back and it has a USB hookup for ipods. This goes the same with my vehicle too. I have a few good playlists with some great songs, however, when i hooked it up to my bluray player, some of the songs didn't appear in the playlist that are not normally there. I disconnected the ipod and had a look on the screen and sure enough the songs are there, but they are just not appearing on the bluray player. This only happens for some songs, not all of them. I was disappointed at this because I really wanted to hear my songs. So I decided to download the WHOLE album off of itunes from which I got the song from and sure enough, this time the song appeared on my bluray player and it played in the playlist.
Why is this? Is there a way to make it so that I can have all the songs play without downloading all of the albums?Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Why is it that when I delete a song off my 4th generation I touch it will not allow me to add it again. I manage my music manually (no syncing). I can add a new song, but as soon as I delete it on my I touch, I can't put it back on.
I never heard of that problem before. I I can suggest is the stand fixes:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

When I first imported music from my CDs onto my iTunes library, all the songs appeared, but those with the album artist and guest/additional artists they appeared in their own album under the same album name. After searching through iTunes help and support, I learned how to put all the songs under the same album (part of a compalition) and add the additional songs information, artwork, lyrics, etc. After getting all the music (imported from my CDs) onto the iTunes library and in their album. I synced my music onto my iPhone. (My iPhone is a 3GS)
Once the music was on my iPhone i noticed that the albums appeared in 2s again. One was the complete album with all the songs, song info, etc. together (solo tracks and/or one with multiple artists) and another album of the same name, artwork, etc. with 2-4 of the songs from that album. Since all I saw need for was to have the completed album on my iPhone, I deleted the album with only 2-4 of the songs. When I went back and selected the completed album, all the songs I had deleted from the incomplete album were also deleted from the completed album too! I just couldn't figure out why it did that and my my friends with iPods and iPhones said they didn't know what caused it either. So now I'm here with the idea how to fix this problem.
If anyone has a solution to this problem, please reply. It will be greatly appreciated.I'm not sure why this happens, but I found a workaround. Below the album title it will list the artist(s). The issue seems to happen when there are multiple artists. For example, an Album titled "Over the Sea to Skye" has The Chieftains and James Galway as artists. Some tracks (for whatever reason) will list only one of these and result in the playlist showing what appears to be multiple albums. You can click on the artists and it will highlight. Paste in what is appearing on the other "albums" and it will then show as one:
Hope that is somewhat clear enough to help. Doesn't fix whatever the issue is but it is a workaround. For me this is only happening with CD's that I have imported.
