Why is iTunes Radio playing adverts when I have a paid account all of sudden?

I have an iTunes Match subscription, and all of a sudden around three hours ago, iTunes radio started playing adverts. This is really really annoying. Is there an issue with iTunes radio right now or has the Ad-free paid model been given up by Apple?

OK - this fixed my problem of skipping 30-40 songs and playing the same ones over and over.
I moved and changed the address on a credit card associated to my Itunes account. The credit card was still active, however the billing address was incorrect in my iTunes account. Make sure your Itunes account billing and payment information is correct as the slightest error will cause everything to seem like it is working correctly, except iTunes Radio.
My Fix:
In Itunes - enter Account - edit user information - edit payment method (update all information)
fixed problem on both of my two Apple TV devices

ITunes radio playing ads, but I have iTunes Match

I'm putting this here as opposed to itunes because it only stared after the appletv update today. I am playing itunes radio and using the appletv as additional speakers with the imac. i am getting ads, even though i am subscribed to match. i made sure match was on, on the appletv but im still getting ads. anyone else seeing this or have a solution?

itunes match on the iphone *****. So I have to enable this and corrupt my entire music collection to get ad free itunes radio. That is insanity. Time for a total refund for itunes match. Not worth it and not what was advertised.
Pandora is honest with their subscriptions and plays better music matches anyway. Good by ituens radio. Too bad I can't remove it from ym phone.

I've been listening to the Chill Out Jazz station at work and love it, but it keeps playing the same songs over and over now...for weeks. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've found the same thing on the 80's channels...they just play the same 15 or 20 songs over and over.

There is a Repeat setting. It can be set to repeat ONE (repeat current song), ALL (repeat current list), or OFF (do not repeat). It is probably set for ONE.
On the nano's Now Playing screen, there is a symbol that looks the two arrows in a loop. You may need to swipe the screen to see it. Tap that button to change the Repeat setting.

I understand that you have subscribed to iTunes Match and you still hear commercials when using iTunes Radio. The usual cause for this would be that iTunes Match is not enabled on the device that is allowing the commercials. You also must be in the United States or Australia for this option to become available.

You can skip the last 2 steps as the Music App cannot be uninstalled/reinstalled.

You don't have the typical symptoms that I associate the following issue with (normally the error kicks in just when folks visit the Store), but just in case try gn_id's suggestion from the following post:

Can iTunes Radio Play Everything?

I am not able to play all the radio stations from iTunes. There are many that I listen to in the car, but they do not seem to be in the iTunes radio library. Am I missing something?

The radio stations that you listen to in your car (called terrestrial radio) are broadcast over the airwaves. iTunes Radio plays Internet radio stations, programming streamed over the Internet. Some terrestrial radio stations also stream over the Internet but many do not. The licenses fees for broadcasting are different than streaming. There are also issues with advertisers. Some radio stations don't bother.
Or maybe I'm not understanding your question?

Try adding [email protected] as a VIP contact in your icloud mail app using the appleid used for icloud if using multiple accounts (i.e different itunes and icloud account).
But seriously that happens really !? not getting emails for using icloud services with a valid appleid.

Are the songs authorised to the same account?
Often people change their e-mail address over time, and also decide to set up new iTunes account names using that e-mail. You can (and should) continue to use an old e-mail address as your account name. Then you don't run into the issue of having different songs authorised to different accounts.
To check the authorised account for the song, click "Get info" on the song name in iTunes. It will show the account name in the Summary panel.
If you have set up multiple accounts, log into each one, and burn the songs to CD as audio tracks (i.e. like a normal CD, not a data CD). You can then re-import the files into iTunes without the authorisation embedded into the song.

I've checked your account, and see no issues with your subscription. So, if you're using a web browser, please log out, clear the browser cache, and then log back in to https://cloud.acrobat.com. And, if you're using Reader, make sure that you're logged in—you should see your name listed in the upper-right corner. If not, click the Sign In link and then sign in with your user name and password.
