I downloaded the new V4 of Firefox yesterday.
Now, when I print a page on Ebay, the screen colour is reversed- I get a completely black coloured page. (which uses up a hell of a lot of ink!!)
Just after I press the print button the whole screen flashes white.
It flashes white whenever I press the print button, but prints fine on all other websites.
Ebay say that its a browser problem and nothing to do with their website.
It is onviously a setting fault, but I can find nowhere on Firefox to correct this problem.
I have tried printing on Ebay using IE, Opera and Safari and they work fine, so it is something in the new V4 of Firefox that is causing this problem.

Sorry if this sounds like something you've already checked, but I need to ask - is your Adobe ID and the credential to enter the Kuler website the same? If they are, you should be able to browse your themes, and the public themes that you have liked.
Nevertheless, I'm checking with the team if there is anything else that could cause Illustrator CC to not download your themes and show you that error message.

This would be the correct setting if the AirPort Extreme is connected to a simple modem (one ethernet port).
*Settings I have Enabled*
5 GHz name indicates that you have elected to use the option to assign a separate name to the 5 GHz network. This will allow you to "tell" compatible computers to connect to that network, rather than the slower 2.4 GHz network
Use Wide Channels is recommended for 5 GHz operation.
Interference Robustness often does more harm than good and should not be used unless you know you are in a area with a lot of wireless networks and you feel that your network is experiencing interference issues from a nearby network.

Why is the printed font so small on a print job I send from my email to my new HP Photosmart C510? I sent it via HP ePrint from a lotus notes based email account. It was just a text message but it was so small on the print out I could not begin to read it.

At the document you plan to print, go to "file" in upper right corner. Select "print preview". Atop that window, select font size. Recommended minimum 60%. May need to adjust with different documents.

I want it back.
I used to have an icon for printing on the Toolbar in 3.5.5.
When I asked where it went, I found this answer: "That Print window will show every time you go to print something in Firefox 3.6+ versions, the option to suppress that window from appearing and the user to be able to print "directly" was removed." Tried to reinstall 3.5.5 but couldn't. Not liking 3.6 at all

Took a tad more than just "going to Customize. " First thing to do was figure out where "Customize" might be. Just guessing, I clicked the three-horizontal-line box at far right end of the address bar. Downloads was on that menu. But I want it on my toolbar, where it used to be at far right of address box. At bottom of the Menu screen there was a bar, Customize. Clicked that and got a screen where I could move Download and other icons around by clicking on the icon, holding, and dragging. But that didn't get it on the toolbar. Finally, out of curiosity I right-clicked the icon to see what would happen. I got a small box giving me choice to Move to Toolbar. Clicked that. BINGO!!! Also figured out you can do same by clicking View/Toolbars/Customize, then right click any icon you want on Toolbar and put it there. Thanks for starting me in right direction.

To answer the post title FireFox save all downloads automatically in the download folder, which you can find in the Documents folder. If you want to choose where to save your downloads go to tools>options>check always ask me where to save files.
Secondly, I am assuming you have IE 8 installed as this is the only version that supports this fix that is currently not in beta. Go to control panel>internet options>advanced tab and reset the settings at the bottom. This may or may not fix the problem but it is a good first step.

I have pages 09 version 4.1... It is a small aggravation.. The left 3 or 4 characters on the return address would not print until I realized that by clicking on
" View " & " Show Lay-Out " that it was out side the printable range ...

It seems to be a Pages template " Print range " issue.. Both the Epson and the HP printers were doing it and it was today that I realized why.. !!

If you are seeing the Ts & Cs link in the Downloads tab in the iTunes app then that just means that you don't have any outstanding/queued downloaded (they are there for info only) - your film should have downloaded into the Videos app (iTunes on the iPad is just the iTunes store)

sorry about my english it´s a lot of years agoo i used it.
since a cuple of months i choosed a mac mini to be used as my favorit pc-system. Now i am using pages to create letters and stuff like greeting cards, posters, flyers and so on.
In this i´ll find a problem between the choosen font sizes and the printed paper.
If i choose a font and size like arial 12, and start the print job of the lettert with my Printer (Samsung 3170 MFC or Samsung 315), the size of the printed font is very smaller than the in pages choosen font (seen on the screen.
If i use MS offce it is the right size on the screen as on the printet paper.
What do i wrong?

Maybe because your document isn't displayed at 100% but at 120% on your screen.
On my iMac, to get the same size on screen and on paper, the zoom factor must be 142% which can't be done thru the available interface.

Why does the print cue window stay open even after job is done?

In Tiger, and every other version of OSX I have any recollection of using, the printer window opens to display what's in the cue when you select to print something. Once printing is done, this cue closes. Since installing Leopard, everytime we print from our iMac, MacBook or MBP, the print cue window stays open indefinitely after the job is done, requiring a manual closing of the window. I can't for the life of me fathom what benefit this brings or who would want this. Is this part of Leopard or a problem with our install? Something I can turn off?

If you control-click (or right click) on the open printer queue in the Dock you can choose to have it auto close once the spool file is sent.
As to why this is necessary in Leopard, well I haven't seen a good enough answer to date...

at my company we can install new printer if they use a "STANDER WINDOWS DRIVER"
we can not execute an *.exe file we have to call tech support to get this done and open a ticket.

In System Preferences>Fax & Print, Right click or Control+click on the Printers list Sidebar, choose Reset Printing System.
if you hold option and click the "-" tab it resets the printing system.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions.
Any devices that previously appeared in your Printer List and Fax List will need to be added again after resetting the printing system.

    1.    To use the Reset Printing System feature in Mac OS X 10.5.x, follow these steps:
    2.    Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
    3.    Choose Print & Fax from the View menu.
