Why my applet runs twice sometimes ?

I have created a simple applet which is no layout and simply write a system message if init completed.
However, I found that sometimes there is two init message come out at the same time even if I load the applet only one time.
The following is my src code :
public class MyShop extends Applet
public void init()
System.out.println("[myShop] Init!");
     public boolean setValue (String id, String strValue)
     return Store.setValue (id, strValue);
     public String getValue (String id)
          return Store.getValue (id);
Can anyone tell me why ?

Maybe the problem is in the html page. You may be causing two instances of the applet to be instanciated.

    as you can see adobe is running twice? why??
    I have windows 7 32bit, latest version of firefox and adobe

    I have the same thing happening. Today my pc became noticeably slow (even logging into windows usually takes about 5 seconds, today it takes almost a min). I have ran virus and malware scans and found nothing. I checked processes to see if there is anything unusual and found nothing except this. And when I re-entered task manager both processes were gone.

    Seeing it in context and in our browsers is much easier to debug.
    If not, make sure to run the validator here The W3C Markup Validation Service and clear out any problems. HTML errors, especially structural ones, will cause all kinds of display problems in various browsers/versions/platforms.

    Hi Since updating to ios 7.04 i have noticed the phone consumes so much more power. I have to charge the phone twice sometimes 3 times a day. WHY?

    Hi,
    Thanks! I forgot to add, I have debonded and rebonded the bluetooth in car and phone and have carried out 3 restores on the phone in my ITunes. All to no avail. I have also jsut spent £40 on a lead from Ford that has made no difference too! I went to them today to request a software upgrade on my car as I though perhaps the lack of connectivity in the car was down to the car being behind the iOS5 software but was informed there was no need for an upgrade and this problem is purely an apple problem! Is there any way around the downgrade? Or are apple gong to resolve this problem at all??

  • Applet start() running twice, in Microsoft IE 5.5.

    It seems to me that that the Applet start() method is running twice, on Microsoft IE 5.5, Microsoft Java (with no service packs). Does someone reconice this problem ?
    (I know that people should not use Microsoft Java, but I cannot control the behavior of the users).
    Best Regards.

    Well, you can live with it if stop is not being called
    between both start calls. You could simply set a flag
    on the start and if it's set return from start.. and
    reset the flag in stop.
    static boolean started = false;
    public void start() {
    if(started) return;
    started = true;
    super.start();
    ... rest of start
    public void stop() {-------------------------------------
    ** Don't do this. It is unsafe and will crash.
    See http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/post1.0/preview/threads.html
    super.stop(); --------------------------------------
    started = false;
    Otherwise the Javascript idea would work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Hello,
    the old NS 1.1.5 JVM did this as well. The cause is a race and even worse,
    stop/start/run can be called in multiple and erronious succession.
    Use the Runnable interface and synchronize to force startup serialization.
    public class MyClass implements Runnable
    boolean initialized = false; // Same concept.
    Object waitObject = new Object();
    Thread task = null;
    public synchronized void init()
    if(!initialized)
    // Do your initialization
    initialized = true;
    notifyall();
    public synchronized void start()
    task = new Thread(this);
    task.start();
    notifyAll();
    public synchronized void stop()
    task = null;
    notifyAll();
    public void run()
    Thread controlThread = Thread.currentThread();
    // Force synch with start / stop
    synchronized(this)
    notifyAll();
    while(controlThread == task)
    // Do your stuff. I fyou have nothing to do, then
    // lazily do a wait() NOT a sleep.
    synchronized(waitObject)
    try
    waitObject.wait(1000); // 200 or 5 X a second
    } // is an unnoticable and responsive
    catch(InterruptedException ie) // poll time If you find a second too slow.
    What this does.
    It not only forces serialization of start, stop, and run, but it also uses the Sun Engineer's
    recommendations pertaining to the deprecation of stop.
    I have mentioned this before but some people didn't belive me.
    Then again some people just like to argue :)
    Because of the deprecation of stop, some JVMs versions handled it differently, and
    you should overwrite overwrite it as prescribed in the aformentioned link.

    I have running server at 206.29.25.29. and select "read sensor". Jre1.4.1_01 will not let the applet run, but jre1.3.1 does.
    Is there any body know about this issue?

  • Why the process chain always run twice when triggered from R3?

    I run a program from R3 by calling the remote function 'RSSM_EVENT_RAISE' on BW to trigger an event and in turn the event on BW bring up the running of a process chain.  But whenever I run the program on R3 to bring up the running of the process chain, I find the process chain always run twice at the same time.  Does anybody knows the answer?
    And also I would like to know the functionalities of the two picture buttons "Activate" and "Activate and Schedule" in process chain.  In which case the "Activate" button should be used and in which case, the "Activate and Schedule" button should be used?   If we click the Start variant of a process chain, then click "Change Selections" button which bring up the window "Start Time" where the buttons "Immediate", "Date/Time", "After job", and "After event" are listed at the top.  If we modify at any of the above buttons, then after save this modification, we will have to click "Activate and Schedule" button to make it work, right?
    Thanks a lot and everyone's idea is greatly appreciated!

    Kevin, make sure there is only one job scehduled for the Start Process of your Process Chain.  If you bring up the Process Chain (not the log view), right click on the Start Process and select "Displaying Scheduled Job(s)...".  There should only be one scheduled job with name BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER.  If there is more than one, then when triggered, it would execute more than once at the same time.  If there is only one job, then maybe your R/3 program is triggering the event more than once?
    As far as the Start conditions for the Start Process, it works off the same principals as a scheduled job.  These start conditions determine when or how the Process Chain is to be executed.  You also have control over frequency.  These start conditions determine the scheduling of the Start Process of your Process Chain.
    When you schedule a Process Chain, a separate scheduled job is created for "each" process in the Chain.  BW controls the triggering of these jobs based upon how the processes in the Chain are linked.  All the jobs associated with Process Chains have strict naming conventions and all begin with BI_PROCESS_...  If you use SM37 to view all jobs that begin with BI_PROCESS_ you will find alot of scheduled jobs associated with your process chains.  Each job represents one of the processes within your process chains.
    Does this help?
    Another tip might be to trigger the event manually in BW (use tx SM64).  If the process chain executes twice again, then maybe there is a separate scheduled job in BW that triggers the process chain that is triggered by the same event as the start process of the process chain.

  • Why does this AppleScript run twice in Automator?

    I am trying to create an application that I can run and change the function of my F1, F2 keys to or from standard function. I found this AppleScript online and it works... but it runs twice in a row:
    tell application "System Preferences" to activate
    tell application "System Events"
    tell application "System Preferences"
    activate
    set current pane to pane "com.apple.preference.keyboard"
    end tell
    tell process "System Preferences"
    click radio button "Keyboard" of tab group 1 of window "Keyboard"
    get every attribute of checkbox ¬
    "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" of ¬
    tab group 1 of window "Keyboard"
    click checkbox ¬
    "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" of ¬
    tab group 1 of window "Keyboard"
    activate
    if value of checkbox ¬
    "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" of ¬
    tab group 1 of window "Keyboard" = 0 then
    display dialog ¬
    "Standard Function Keys off..." giving up after 1
    else
    display dialog ¬
    "Standard Function Keys on..." giving up after 1
    end if
    end tell
    tell application "System Preferences"
    quit
    end tell
    end tell
    If I change the Script by taking out the following, it only runs once. I believe my issue is in the below Script. I have fiddled with all that I know how to and either it doesn't run, or it runs twice...
    tell process "System Preferences"
    click radio button "Keyboard" of tab group 1 of window "Keyboard"
    get every attribute of checkbox ¬
    "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" of ¬
    tab group 1 of window "Keyboard"
    click checkbox ¬
    "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" of ¬

    "Standard Function Keys off..." giving up after 1
    else
    display dialog ¬
    "Standard Function Keys on..." giving up after 1
    end if
    end tell
    Any suggestions would help. If you run it and it only runs once, I am at a loss. Thank you for you time.

    it works fine for me in both automator and applescript. are you sure you didn't enter it twice in the Run Applescript workflow?

                                            display dialog ¬
                                                      "Standard Function Keys off..." giving up after 1

  • Why do applets in browsers run slowly

    Now that I hav the Java compiler installed on my machine, applets execute slower than when I didnt have it installed. Whenever i encounter a page that has a Java applet, the Java console first loads automatically (which thakes about 30 secs and puts a java coffe cup in the lower left of my screen). Then I get a box on my screen where the applet will appear and all I see for a few seconds is a progress bar that says loading so and so class. Then the actual applet executes.
    Why does applet execution slow down when a Java compiler is installed? Before I downloaded and installed it, all the applets (from the sites I browsed) used to execute quickly. Also is there anything i can do to speed up things with applet execution so I dont have to wait, and 3everything is quick like it was before I installed the compiler?
    Lastly, if applet executions are slowed down, then why does every tutorial book ive read say java is fast?

    I suppose that you are talking about Internet Explorer and that you did not have SUN's Java Runtime Environment installed before installing the JDK.
    If that is the case, then the Java implementation you had before was from Microsoft. Their Java implementation is a highly outdated version of Java (version 1.1). However, it does have the advantage of being quite fast - especially the startup time is fast. Now you have a modern Java implementation (version 1.4) from SUN installed as a plug-in for IE. Unfortunately, the startup time is much slower than that of Microsoft's Java.
    There is not much you can do about this. But you can disable SUN's Java for applets in the Control Panel. It will then again use Microsoft's implementation for applets.
    Other people agree with you that the startup time is slow. There is an RFE on the Top25 list on this very matter: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4607280.html
    Lastly, if applet executions are slowed down, then why
    does every tutorial book ive read say java is fast?Do they really? Fast compared to what?

  • Applet reloading twice

    I'm running an applet in a side frame in Netscape 4.04 browser. When I kick the HTML page off with the browser closed, the applet appears to start twice, with both running concurrently. This causes it to fall over because both try to write to the same file at the same time.
    When I open the browser first and then open the HTML page it loads normally.
    Does anyone know why, or has anyone experienced this problem? I'm using JRE 1.2.2.

    Thanks for the help. If anyone's interested:
    Two applets started after double-clicking under Communicator under Windows
    Description: Double-clicking an HTML file to start Communicator and load JET 3270 under Windows results in two JET 3270 applets running.
    Cause: The default "open" action performed by Windows when opening an HTML file when Communicator is the default browser passes the file both as a command line argument and as a DDE message. Because of this Communicator loads the HTML page twice, resulting in two JET 3270 applets.
    Corrective Action:
    Edit the default open action so that it does not use DDE using the following instructions. Start Windows Explorer. From the View menu select Options. Select the File Types tab. Find Netscape Hypertext Document in the list of registered file types, select it and click Edit. Select the open action and click Edit. Remove the tick from the Use DDE checkbox. Click OK, Close and Close.

    I've installed Mavericks on my Mac Pro. It works well, generally, but will not stay asleep! Pressing the power button twice sometimes extends the sleep mode but even that seldom results in a full overnight sleep.  File sharing off. What else can help?

    Hi fremley,
    Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    This article may be helpful with determining why your Mac Pro doesn't stay in sleep mode:
    Mac OS X: Why your Mac might not sleep or stay in sleep mode
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1776
    Some things reset the sleep timers, preventing the computer from sleeping:
    Hard drive access (even if you're not using the computer, a running application might be accessing your drive, such as when downloading a large file or listening to music in iTunes)
    Moving the mouse or using a portable Mac's trackpad, pressing a mouse button, or pressing a key on the keyboard
    Some System Preferences settings (see below)
    Open applications (see below)
    Input devices (see below)
    Expansion cards (see below)
    Additional drives, such as USB, FireWire, DVD, or CD drives (see below)
    Best Regards,

  • Why is repair_packages running? (Make it Stop)

    Why is repair_packages running what seems to be a lot!  repair_packages consumes CPU and kills my systems performance.  Why is this process running?  Is there a way to configure it so its not so aggressive?  I have not been able to find much regarding this utility.
    Thanks

    1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
    The test works on OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later. I don't recommend running it on older versions of OS X. It will do no harm, but it won't do much good either.
    Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
    2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
    There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
    3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
    You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
    In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
    You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of it have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message. See, for example, this discussion.
    Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
    4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
    ☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
    ☞ Paste into the window of another application.
    ☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
    ☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
    The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
    5. Try to test under conditions that reproduce the problem, as far as possible. For example, if the computer is sometimes, but not always, slow, run the test during a slowdown.
    You may have started up in "safe" mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
    6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
    7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
    Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:

    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
    Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
    9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
    exec bash
    and press return. Then paste the script again.
    10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
    If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
    11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, a series of lines will appear in the Terminal window like this:
    [Process started]
            Part 1 of 8 done at … sec
            Part 8 of 8 done at … sec
            The test results are on the Clipboard.
            Please close this window.
    [Process completed]
    The intervals between parts won't be exactly equal, but they give a rough indication of progress. The total number of parts may be different from what's shown here.
    Wait for the final message "Process completed" to appear. If you don't see it within about ten minutes, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, press the key combination control-C or command-period to stop it and go to the next step. You'll have incomplete results, but still something.
    12. When the test is complete, or if you stopped it because it was taking too long, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
    At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
    If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
    13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
    14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak for themselves, not for me. The test itself is harmless, but whatever else you're told to do may not be. For others who choose to run it, I don't recommend that you post the test results on this website unless I asked you to.

  • Stored Proc running twice using DBMS_Scheduler

    Hello all,
    I have a vb front end that calls a main stored proc which submits scheduler jobs to execute several stored procs asynchronously. Everything is working, except the part that the several stored procs are running twice. In the troubleshooting, I have eliminated the front end from being the culprit and the stored procs themselves. Essentially, when I call the stored proc using dbms_scheduler.create_job, it runs twice, even manually. I am about at wits end trying to figure out why: Using Oracle 11gR2
    I started off setting up the programs
    begin
    --create program
    dbms_scheduler.create_program
    ( program_name => 'prog_name'
    ,program_type => 'STORED_PROCEDURE'
    ,program_action => 'usp_sub_proc_1'
    ,number_of_arguments => 8
    ,enabled => FALSE
    dbms_scheduler.DEFINE_PROGRAM_ARGUMENT
    ( program_name=> 'prog_name'
    ,argument_position=>1
    ,argument_name => 'name'
    ,argument_type=>'VARCHAR2'
    /*the remaining 7 arguments are in code but not display for space reasons*/
    dbms_scheduler.enable('prog_name');
    end;Then the main stored proc executes this code:
    declare v_job_name varchar2(100);
        v_1 varchar(50) := 'All';
        v_2 varchar(50) := 'All';
        v_3 varchar(50) := 'All';
        v_4 varchar(50) := 'All';
        v_5 varchar(50) := 'TEST';
        i_6 integer := 1;
        v_7 varchar(50) := 'TEST_NE';
        ts_8 timestamp := current_timestamp;
    begin
        v_job_name := 'uj_dmo_1';
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (v_job_name
                                            ,program_name => 'prog_name'
                                            ,job_class => 'UCLASS_1'
                                            ,auto_drop => TRUE
    --set parameters
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,1, v_1);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,2, v_2);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,3, v_3);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,4, v_4);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,5, v_5);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,6, to_char(i_6));
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,7, v_7);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name ,8, to_char(ts_8));
    --enable job
    dbms_scheduler.enable(v_job_name);
    --execute job
    dbms_scheduler.run_job(job_name => v_job_name , use_current_session => FALSE);
    end;
    ...And this is where I get the double execution of the job, but I am just not seeing it in my syntax, dba_scheduler_jobs, logging, etc. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

    Well apparently I will not win any Captain Obvious awards;
    With 34MCA2K2's response with "what doesn't work" for some reason turned the light on. After some more testing here is what I found.
    This code works as expected :
    Exhibit A
    begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (job_name =>'TESTER'
                                   ,job_type => 'PLSQL_BLOCK'
                                   ,job_action => 'declare test1 integer := 1; begin test1 := test1 + 5; end;'
                                   ,auto_drop => True
       /*dbms_scheduler.enable('TESTER');   */
       dbms_scheduler.run_job(job_name => 'TESTER', use_current_session =>FALSE);
    end;As does this:
    Exhibit B
    begin
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (job_name =>'TESTER'
                                   ,job_type => 'PLSQL_BLOCK'
                                   ,job_action => 'declare test1 integer := 1; begin test1 := test1 + 5; end;'
                                   ,auto_drop => True
       dbms_scheduler.enable('TESTER');
      /*dbms_scheduler.run_job(job_name => 'TESTER', use_current_session =>FALSE);    */
    end;Exhibit A will create the job and is visible in the schedulerjobs view, and the RUN_JOB will execute it even when not enabled, but the pl/sql will not drop the job.
    Exhibit B will create the job and once enabled, executes the job and then drops from schedulerjobs view.
    Therefore, my desired results for running the jobs once asynchronously and dropping immediately is....
    begin
        v_job_name := 'uj_dmo_1';
    dbms_scheduler.create_job (v_job_name
                                            ,program_name => 'prog_name'
                                            ,job_class => 'UCLASS_1'
                                            ,auto_drop => TRUE
    --set parameters
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,1, v_1);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,2, v_2);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,3, v_3);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,4, v_4);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,5, v_5);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,6, to_char(i_6));
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name,7, v_7);
    dbms_scheduler.set_job_argument_value(v_job_name ,8, to_char(ts_8));
    /*enable job*/
    dbms_scheduler.enable(v_job_name);
    /*execute job (Do not execute the code below, it will lead to multiple executions)
    dbms_scheduler.run_job(job_name => v_job_name , use_current_session => FALSE); */
    end;

    I'm working on an applet which works just fine when 1.5.0_15 is the latest JRE installed on the PC, but does not work when 1.6.0_6 is installed. In the latter case, the applet does not load due to getting a NoClassDefFoundError. Here's the Java Console error trace:

    Obviously, when the browser is using JRE 1.5.15 the VM engine can find all the needed classes as the applet runs OK. But when 1.6.6 is installed, things can't be found. I suspect something different in the search paths (though I thought the "java_archive" value was supposed to specify that), in the permissions needed to read the files, or something, but I just can't track down what the difference is (and thus why things are failing with 1.6 installed).
    Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Stephen.Thomas wrote:
    have [you] tried moving the configapi.jar into the same folder as the configurator.jarYes, I have. I've also tried re-rooting the page to the lib directory where everything exists; i.e. changing java_codebase to /HSC/lib and changing java_archive so all jars referenced no longer have ../lib/ in them. Same behavior.
    It's almost as if the search path is behaving differently between 1.5 and 1.6, possibly not even being controlled by the values of java_codebase and java_archive at all.

  • Portlet controller beeing run twice

    Hello,
    I noticed a small issue regarding some of my portlets, their controller are run twice for some reason. What can I do to prevent this?
    Running SpringFramework on Bea Weblogic portal 8.1

    Hi Tmukunne,
    I'm confused why you ran the cmdlet "Install-ADDSForest" twice, after you install ADDS role and configure DC with the cmdlet "Install-ADDSForest", you can reboot the server and Domain Controller should work now:
    Install-WindowsFeature -Name AD-Domain-Services
    $Password = ConvertTo-SecureString -AsPlainText -String Password0! -Force
    Install-ADDSForest -DomainName Corp.contoso.com -SafeModeAdministratorPassword $Password `
    -DomainNetbiosName contoso -DomainMode Win2012R2 -ForestMode Win2012R2 -DatabasePath "%SYSTEMROOT%\NTDS" `
    -LogPath "%SYSTEMROOT%\NTDS" -SysvolPath "%SYSTEMROOT%\SYSVOL" -NoRebootOnCompletion -InstallDns -Force
    Restart-Computer -Force
    And you can also run the cmd "dcdiag" to analyze the state of the domain controller, and check if there is any error or failure.
    If there is anything else regarding this issue, please feel free to post back.
