Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3?  How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

The bookmark tab went from the right side to the left side. I did not change that. what cause the change from the right side to the left side? Also the the Mozilla Firefox tab on the upper left hand corner changed.
Its was a red colored tab and now its blue in color. I did not change any thing!

    Hey jimmiet,
There were some recent ui changes around the downloads manager. What version where you on before? Anyway, you can customize things in Firefox really easily. Take a look at [[Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars|this article on customizing Firefox]] for details. Should be a piece of cake to move the bookmarks button.
As for the color of the button, you might be in [[Private Browsing - Browse the web without saving information about the sites you visit|Private Browsing]] mode. That changes the color of the button from orange to a purplish color.

  • To make the change from MobilMe I will have to update from System 10.4.11 to 10.7.2.  How many system and firmware updates will I have to do?

To make the change from MobilMe I will have to update fro System 10.4.11 to 10.7.2.  How many firmware and system updates will I have to make

First, see if your system can run Lion:
    http://www.apple.com/macosx/specs.html
If you have any PPC apps, none of them will work under Lion.
If you meet the requirements for Lion, you can go to Snow Leopard(US $29), then update to 10.6.8, then update to Lion(US $29).
Apple says 2GB's of memory minimum. I wouldn't update to Lion unless you can run at least 4GB's.

  • Why the purchase from my husband's account charge to my account?

Why the purchase from my husband's account charged to my credit card?. The register with his own ID and also have provide the payment information.

You can't currently move or transfer ibooks (or any other iTunes downloads) from one account to another account, so those books will remain tied to his account - but as long as his account is authorised on the computer's iTunes that you sync the iPad to (I only have one account so I can't check) then you should be able to continue to have them in the iBooks app on your iPad

  • How to see the changes from format dropdown in RTE itself?

    Hi
I have a RTE . I have enabled paraformat and is trying to add tags. But i am not able to see the changes in my RTE. How can i achieve this
even if we select heading1 , the selected text should appear in H1 tag. But it is not happening. Can i know why it is so???
    Thanks
    Veena

    Hi Veena,
Looking at snapshot I see paragraph is missing might be some customization done.
As a sanity check download Enable-all-RTE-features-*.zip from package manager & verify.

  • Why the "Change Package" in Transport Connection shows "Request/Tasks"?

We want to transport our custom InfoCubes from Developement environment to Test environment:
RSA1 -> Transport Connection, select an InfoCube we created and drag it over to the right frame, group it by "In Dataflow Before and Afterwards". The Package column shows it's attached to $TMP that we would have to change it to a custom package that it can be transported over. We click the Package picture icon with a pencil trying to change the package attached from $TMP to a custom one, but can't find any custom package we created with SE80 from here and instead, in this window, the first column is "Request/Task" and the values under this column are all checkboxes. The last column is "Object Name". I wonder if the "Change Package" picture icon only lists all the request/task for the selected transport objects selected other than the packages we expect? Weird!
    Thanks

    hi Kevin,
the 'normal' way has been explained by Roberto and Siggi.
if you still want change package screen in transport connection, it will go to package change/object directory entry screen after you mark the 'request/task' and click 'V'
Re: Why created package with SE80 can't be found in Transport Connection?

  • How to move the changes from one system to other without using CMS

    Hi
In our project they are migrating NWDI 6.40 to NWDI 7.0.
During migration CMS won't be available.
Could you plesae tell what are the different options are there to move the WebDynpro changes from (NWDS) Development to Quality system and then production system without using CMS server?
If i will create a development package and import this packgae in Quality package will my new changes also be available in Quality server?
    Thanks & Regards
    Susmita

    Hi Susmita
I wasn't completely sure, but from your description of your problem, it seemed like you would have access to your DTR during your upgrade. The following solution assumes as much. If this is not the case, you'll need to do things slightly differently, but the solution will still be possible.
Depending on the scope and size of your changes, it may be practical for your developers to deploy directly from their NetWeaver Developer Studio (or for a designated administrator to install the NWDS and do the same). To do so, from the Development Configurations perspective, create a new NWDS project for each of the DCs you want to deploy. Then right-click the project and choose from one of the deployment options. (Deploy new archive and run will allow you to see if your deployment has taken effect.) When deploying, the target server is the one set up as your J2EE engine in the NWDS properties - you'll consequently have to modify this when the target server for your deployment changes (from QA to production, or vice versa).
Note that this is only applicable in certain situations, and only as a short term stopgap measure. This sort of practice - developers or administrators deploying haphazardly to servers other than those intended for development - is precisely what the NWDI is designed to prevent (and is one of very few things it's fairly good at doing). For instance, if your QA and production systems are attached as TEST and PROD runtimes systems respectively in your NWDI, a full assembly and subsequent full deployment would usually occur to these servers when deploying with the NWDI. This is a much stronger guarantee of consistency than the build that will be performed within your local NWDS to deploy your changes. (Conversely, the rigidity of the assembly is perhaps the NWDI's greatest design flaw.)
(Also, Snehal: thanks for the information on the sapmake_util blog. It's not something I've encountered before and looks very useful.)

  • Need to find out the changes from Apps 10.7 to the present release 11. x.x

    Hullo,
I saw a link on one of the blogs that a presentation on improvements/changes/features from 10.7 onwards was available on www.oracle.com/appsnet/technology/upgrade/docs/features.html. This page is no longer available.
Does anyone know another link where this or similar information is available?
    Salim.

Oracle Applications Upgrade - new functionality added since 10.7 and 11
This post contains a link to the Oracle page which will provide you with a functionality comparison between the different releases of Oracle Applications.
If you are still on Oracle Applications R10.7 or R11 and are considering an upgrade to R11i, this Oracle Appsnet page will provide you with an understanding of what new features and capabilities have been added to Oracle E-Business Suite since R10.7 and R11. The site lists the changes by major release and by module and is very useful in understanding the differences between each major release of Oracle Applications.

Yes, Oracle re-organised their site and have moved this page without providing a redirect. If anyone know’s where this page has disappeared to please let me know as it contained some very useful content.

  • Why the sound from Apple tv2

Why is the sound from my Apple tv2 so much louder than the sound from the tv/pvr; both are connected with optical cable to the same amplifier.
    GH

Because the 2 manufacturers of the device have their own ideas of where 0db should be. Does your amplifier offer input trim? if so use it.

  • How to Revert back the changes from the new version to old version

Hi, I need to revert back the changes in one of the Objects in Intergration Directory.  Which means, I need to de-activate the existing version, and have the old version activated again.  Can you help me on the steps on doing this?  Thank you.

    Mary,
If you have just saved urt object in IR / ID and not activated it, then u can simply go to the change list tab and right click on ur object and do " Reject changes".
if u have already activated the same, then u wud b required to open the object in IR/ ID.
Click on the history option and double click and open the same object version that u want and activate it.
    regards,

  • Why the change in 7 so what is on iTunes doesn't match what is on the iPod?

For podcasts in 6, if you let iTunes handle the sync and set it to "keep all unplayed", podcasts were not removed from iTunes until the "last played date" was populated. This allowed partially played podcasts to remain on the iPod until completed.
Now in 7, with the same settings, podcasts are removed from the iPod when the "unplayed flag" (blue dot in iTunes list) is off - which happens if it is played for any length (even if it was accidental - no way to reset the flag on iPod). It is not deleted from iTunes until the "last played date" has been filled in (when the last second of the file has been played). If you reset the unplayed flag on iTunes, it also resets the pointer in the file, so you lose your place of what you were listening to.
So effectively, in 6, iTunes and iPod both showed the same things (files and pointers) when you sync-ed. In 7, they don't and won't as "keep all unplayed" is not treated the same for both.
WHY? It was working. WHY CHANGE IT?!
If you wanted to "fix" something:
Get the iTunes to treat podcasts differently that other files. If my settings say "only sync podcasts marked in the list" then podcasts that are not marked in the list shouldn't be copied to my iPod. They don't show up in the podcast area but THE INDIVIDUAL FILES ARE COPIED INTO THE MUSIC SECTION! That takes up space on my iPod for things I set not to be there in the preferences! The only way to stop it is to set "sync only checked selections" and go thru the podcasts and individually "uncheck" everything in the podcasts I set for it NOT to include in the first place. Which also means that has to be done manually over and over when new podcasts I ONLY want on my PC in iTunes get new episodes.

This Apple knowledge-base article may help address that issue.
    Strange iPod behaviour.

  • Why the Orgunit from Orgstructure not beeing called in Get Pernr

    Dear Freinds
Iam using the logical database PNP for my payroll repot. So i have modified
the selection screen and keppt only
    a) paroll area,
    b) otherperiod and current period
    c) organizational unit.
My intention is to read all the orgunits throught function module RH_STRUC_GET
So when i said f4 on orgunit field normall we will get the OrgStrucutre popup,
from that popup i have select the topmost (i.e very first orgunit) .......when i executed

    Hi Syamala,
I do not quite understand what you want to do.
<i>My intention is to read all the orgunits throught function module RH_STRUC_GET
    </i>
The normal flow is that PERNR are rtrieved based on selection criterias. THats what the selection part of a report is for.
THe field ORGEH is the field stored in IT0001, no structural evaluation. If you want to process all PERNR under one Orgunit reachable with path O-S-P simply use the Pushbuton on top of the screen. If it is not shown, use a different report class showing it.
    Have a look at e.g. PAR2 transaction.

  • Image dimensions and file size, why the change?

Here's a Friday puzzler for ya
I just ran a batch on a couple of thousand orthophoto images (RGB + 1 alpha channel geo-tif) to add some typographic information to the bottom of each image. All the files were saved in PS as flattened, standard uncompressed tif. EVERY image is 10k x 10k pixels. After the process we noticed that the new set of files were consistently smaller than the original images! Not by much mind you, but with this kind of spatially mapped imagery it makes you wonder if we are missing anything:
    before: 720013700.tif = 381 MB = 390,704kb (400,080,750 bytes), size on disk 381 MB (400,080,896 bytes)
    after: 720013700_DRAFT.tif = 381 MB = 390,648kb (400,023,280 bytes), size on disk 381 MB (400,023,552 bytes)
So my supervisor asks "why"? and that leads me here. I thought about a few answers - 1) pixel values changes for white text take up less space? 2) No geo-tif header information written back to the file (that's a separate step after the PS batch using another app), so we'll know about that one. 3) Bit fairies took the 56kb.
    Any ideas?

You say uncompressed…  So you didn't select any compression at all during the save of the TIFF files?  If not, white text replacing image data couldn't have changed the size by itself.
You mentioned geo-tif header information...  Was this header in the file before you opened it with Photoshop?
I don't really know the internal format of a TIFF file; perhaps Chris Cox can say something about this.

  • Why the Move from /opt to /usr ?

I'd been getting used to having my DE stuff in /opt.  Then, all of a sudden, Xfce is in /usr.  Not that I mind one way or another, but it did throw me for a loop:
As soon as I installed and started x, my whole Xfce panel setup disappeared.  I'm using:
    exec xfce4-session
Xfce loaded without any panels. The Settings > Panel Manager wouldn't even start.
I created a new user and copied my .xinitrc to the new /home/user, then started x.  This time Xfce ran great (again).  So to make this happen for my user, I backed-up most of the hidden files in my user's home with 'mv' and started x again.  So far so good, the default panels and Xfce in all it's glory come up fine.
Then I switched the icon theme to Tango, and spent an hour putting all my panels back the way I like them.
The panels themselves are working fine, but I'm missing icons that I wasn't missing before.  For example, the Xfce notes plugin has no icon.
I found all the '.desktop' files for the panel plugins in:
    /usr/share/xfce4/panel-plugins
Why they aren't with /usr/share/applications is beyond me.
Now, after a few hours performing my Xfce rescue, I'm ready to fix things.  New icon theme would probably avoid pacman upgrades breaking everything, but that's a lot of work even if using existing icons.  Editing the .desktop files is fast, but not at all effective if another pacman upgrade moves their location in the filesystem again (and I'm not sure I should use pacman to block portions of upgrades).
Well, on to the icon theme I guess.  If I just copy Tango and create a few more symlinks within it, maybe some of icon names the Xfce .desktop files reference will be found.

Good riddance to /opt, I say.
well, not totally, as things like java and openoffice have this kind of hier:
    $ ls /opt/java/
    COPYRIGHT README_ja.html bin include man
    LICENSE README_zh_CN.html db jre sample
    README.html THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME.txt demo lib
    $ ls /opt/openoffice/
    LICENSE README.html licenses readmes
    LICENSE.html THIRDPARTYLICENSEREADME.html presets share
    README help program
    $ ls /opt/eclipse/
    about.html eclipse.ini icon.xpm plugins
    configuration epl-v10.html libcairo-swt.so startup.jar
    eclipse features notice.html
so really, I don't think they can integrate with FHS without some shitty workaround (see how gentoo installs eclipse in /usr, roughly they just drop it in /usr/lib/eclipse3.2 and symlink binary to /usr/bin). and I think /opt is really the place for this kind of things.
The reason things are currently installed to /opt is because they, at one time or another, broke the FHS.
Here's another huge thing: quite a lot of work goes into making sure gnome apps know that gnome is not in /usr (same with KDE, et al).  In addition, new users often yell and scream when they need to log out after an initial install to /opt (profile.d scripts).
as a software dev, I always had that feeling of out-of-place weirdness about gnome/xfce/kde in /opt, but thought 'hey, that's just me'. now I get it:  that implies more dev work, and more work always implies more potential issues. so dev-wise, it's wrong.
plus now, all things being in /etc it makes it a snap to backup config files.
what's more, I don't get how the fact that an app is called 'self-contained' changes anything. it's not like we're on a mac or windows and you copy it to some other directory or computer and expect it to work... as for /etc being crowded, the move really didn't add much to it...
and really, I like FHS, where files are separated by their role, not their belonging app.
