Wifi stops working and need to toggle off and on a few times each day
got new spectre x360 a week ago, and each day since I have had to toggle the wifi off and back on a few times throughout the day to get it to work again. no issues with any other devices in the house.
anyone else having similar issue?

Hello and thank you for posting on the HP support forums. To answer your question. Yes. I have the same problem or at least I did.
I found out that when I came home I would have to turn my wireless on and off to toggle connection.
I worked out that the fact that my android phone, Ipad and other computer where the issue.
The router did not allow a solid connection due to the location of the other wireless devices.
I ended up having to move my router further away to make it happy.

Try turning off all your other wireless devices for a few hours and let your notebook be the one and only.

If those solutions don't work your iPhone 4s has developed a hardware problem. The permanent solution is to get it replaced. I have not heard of Apple replacing long out of warranty iPhones.
You can search the internet for heating and freezing solutions that might work (at least for a while).

Time Capsule wifi stopped working but drive access is ok and 2nd bridged time capsule is working
After six months of successful setup, the wifi on my new 3TB Time Capsule stopped working. At first I would just power everything down and then power it up and it would come back but it had to be reset multiple times per day. Now it is not working at all. I find this very weird because even though the wifi is not working and I can't access the internet, I still have access to the hard drive through finder on my MAC and through the Network on a PC. Also the 2nd (much older) time capsule I have in bridged mode is working just fine for both the drive and the wifi.
I think you should take the TC back to apple for testing.
It does make it confusing if you have multiple wireless AP's .. you should turn off everything but the TC that is giving you problems.. then when the wifi drops out, test with ipad or iphone for instance.. if it is gone .. then take the TC to apple for replacement. -
Sick of this wifi issue in my iPad mini.
If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. You could try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings to see if that corrects the problem. If not, contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

Time capsule wifi stops working with MacBooks, but nothing else
I have a newer model time capsule. Lately, the wifi stops working intermittently on my macbook pro and the wife's macbook air. While this is happening, our iphones and other peripherals have functional wifi. This resolves if I reboot the time capsule. Even more weird is that the 'guest network' on the time capsule will work fine while the main wifi network remains non-functional.
Fairly annoyed, please helpIt isn't strange at all.. it is a feature of Lion.. totally unstable useless networking.. particularly wireless.
I would be very surprised if you came back and told me you were on Snow still.
If Lion was installed by upgrade, worse and worse.. clean install seems to reduce if not remove the issues.
So ring Apple .. keep annoyed at their new vista class OS. Did you turn that off and on again??
I can suggest a few things..
Short wireless and network names.. no spaces.. pure alphanumeric. Different name for 5ghz to stop band swapping.
Lock wireless to on a/n -b/g
Lock wireless channels.
Use wpa2 personal security only.. with 8-12 character passkey.. pure alphanumeric.
Set dhcp to very short lease time.. 30min.. might help Lion to remember the name of the TC.. otherwise it suffers from early onset dementia and alzheimer's. -
when i watch videos on my iphone 5 my wifi buffers the video and then halfway through it just stops and all wifi stops working on my device. i need to switch back off and on the wifi then it works but the same thing happens every time for videos. Why don't I see the airplay icon in my settings? I have the ios7 installed now my netflix won't work as need to turn off mirroring..... And the airplay device is not installed.... Anyone help on this?.
Reboot your router. The icon only shows when connected to wifi and Apple TV or similar device. Same thing happened with my phone and the icon appeared in control center after router reboot.

My ipod is cracked and it chipped away a little more last night and that's when my wifi stopped working. My wifi works on every other device in my house except for my ipod. Is there something wrong with my ipod?
Does the iOS device connect to other networks?
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Try right next to the router
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Settings > AirPlane Mode ON, Do Not Disturb ON
Power down and wait 5-10 minutes
Power up
Settings > AirPlane Mode OFF, Do Not Disturb OFF
If not successful, an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is usually in order.

WIFI stopped working after I woke the computer up, now says connected to the network but not the internet, all other coputers and devices connected still with no problems, have pinged IP address from router and got the message "4 packets sent none received"... Help
I have tried network diagnostics which doesnt help... The only other ting is, when I woke the computer up it said tat another device was using my IP... My wife had plugged her phone into the computer to charge etc but even when i turn wifi off on the phone there is no change... also in settings on the phone the IP address is different...The answer to your question is - neither!
Your PC should to configured to obtain an IP address automatically, and to obtain DNS server IP addresses automatically, from the Airport Express. This is the way Windows (and Macs for that matter) are configued by default, and that is the way most people have their computers set up. If you manually configured your PC's IP address to be the same as your wife's Mac, it certainly explains why your PC is not able to access the internet. -
If you're trying use your hotspot and connected to wifi on your iphone, does the wifi stop working and start using your data instead of staying connected to the wifi?

I thought I had read where the iOS4 (or maybe just the iPhone 4) was supposed to be able to keep wifi connections alive while inactive. If the phone is sitting there on a charger with a wifi connection available, why use the 3G? -
My IPhone 5's Imessages just stopped working and I tried restarting and then turning them off and turning them on. It now says "Waiting for activation" and has said this for 15 minutues.

When you say it "can not scan any wifi network" do you mean it is not detecting Wi-Fi networks?
Is Wi-Fi turned on in Settings > General > Wi-Fi?
Have you tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?
Is it just the home network that the device will not connect to? or any network? -
