I am having problem with my jsp code .
wat i done is as follow
1. I created a web page which simply inputs the user information like name,surname etc.
2. I am passing this information to jsp page say first_jsp.jsp
3. There i am using <jsp:useBean> and setting all the values.
4. Then i am forwarding the same request to servlet. say MyServlet
5. Over there i am printing all the user related information and showing user that he is on servlet in GET method
6. SUBMIT button is provided on servlet to dispatch the same request in POST method of same servlet
7. In the POST method i am forwarding the same request to another jsp page say second_jsp.jsp
8. In this jsp page i am using the same useBean and trying to print all the user information by using <jsp:getProperty>
but fails to display it.
9.But if i am using ${Person.first_name} it shows me output
10. Plz tel me wat is the exact problem
Note: Atleast guide me as i am new to the servlet and jsp

The parameters sent to on a request (from the web page to the first JSP page) only last as long as the single request. After you pass the request to the servlet you then use a form and submit to the same servlet to get to the POST method. This creates a new request to the servlet, it does not extend the previous request, so those parameters are lost.
How do you get around this? By doing exactly what you are doing, moving the data into a bean in the session scope that would still exist for the new request (the bean IS in the session scope, not the application scope, right?).
The real question is why are you doing JSP1 -> Servlet.doGet -> Servlet.doPost -> JSP2? You would be better off doing Servlet->doPost -> JSP2 directly, and using Servlet.doPost to do all the work in JSP1 and the doGet method. Not knowing the real application though, maybe that isn't possible.
