Windows Explorer option not working for a Document library

Dear All,
I am SharePoint administrator for one of the SharePoint site ,When I try to open the document library in local drive using via "Windows Explorer"option I am facing below error.
Can any one help me how can I over come from this issue

1. Check if you have sufficient permission on the document library and its documents.
2. If permission is all correct, then the problem looks like in your file name. Check your File Name, Length, and Invalid Character Restrictions and Recommendations.

Dictionary and selecting words does not work for Japanese documents

iOS 5 includes both English and Japanese dictionaries. However, it seems that dictionary function does not work for Japanese PDF documents, nor can I select any Japanese words in Adobe Reader. Please fix this!

You can start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.<br />
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")<br />

Print Document option, not work when adding documents.

Dear friends.
I have checked inside SAP BO the checkbox Print Document when AR Invoice is added (Print preferences) But this action not work because the document not is printed automatically, then the user has to print it manually.

Ribbon options not working for SharePoint Central Administration

Hi,
I am able to see the options on the Ribbon of Central Administration, but clicking on the options is not working.
Have tried, Starting the Central Admin with Admin account, Setting user account control to never notify, adding the site to the trusted sites, resynced the SP servers time etc.
But nothing helped.
The ribbon is not working only for the Central Administration, it is working for web applications created.
I could not create a new web application, create a new service application, could not select a webapplication or simply i cannot do any thing on Central Administration.
Need help on this, Thanks in advance.

Couple of things, you can check..
1) Run the Internet Explorer as Administrator and then open CA,
2) make sure your Admin account is in Local Admin group,

Scroll windows on website not working for me

There are several web pages on a website that have scroll windows in them and the scroll functionality does not work in my iPod touch. These work fine on Firefox and Safari on my Macs.
Is there a setting that I can change on my iPod touch to make those scroll windows work?

Some webpages are organized into frames, where each frame displays a different web document. You can use Safari to browse and scroll through web pages containing frames by using two fingers simultaneously. When you use one finger to flick or drag up or down, you are scrolling through the web page. When you use two fingers to flick or drag up or down, you are scrolling through the frame.

"Restore last view settings when reopening documents" option not working with all documents

Said option (found under Edit/Preferences, category Documents), which works like an automatic bookmark in that it takes you back to the same place you were at when you last closed a document, is very useful, but apparently doesn't work with *all* documents.
- Does anyone know what determines whether a given document works with this option or not?
- Is this by design or a bug? A matter of PDF format version?
- Is there a way to work around the problem?
I've compared two documents, only one of which works with the option, to determine what the relevant difference may be, and found two suspects (under File/Properties): the PDF version (1.5 in the document that works, 1.4 in the one that doesn't), and 'Fast Web View' ('yes' in the document that works, 'no' in the one that doesn't).

This seems to be a problem with some PDF files.
Suggested workaround: If the PDF you have allows "Save As", then try save-as to a new file. The "Restore last view settings when reopening documents" option should then work as expected (in the new file).

Broadcasting Email Bursting option not working for different mprv

Hi BW experts,
I am facing an issue with Broadcaster settings wherein I am using Email Bursting option.
My setup is like following :
I am using info object ZHRLVL to store hierarchy levels within an organization.
ZHRLVL has an attribute namely email address(E1) which contains the email ids of various managers.
The info object ZHRLVL is included in 2 Multiproviders namely M1 and M2.
email address(E1) is enabled as navigational attribute and in all reports based on M1 and M2 there is a user input variable available for the same.
Both Multiproviders contain transactional records which have ZHRLVL values filled up.
Also in master data ,against ZHRLVL values(the same which are present in transactional record) , email address are maintained.
However, when executing IB settings queries on M1 and M2, Broadcasting works for M1 but however it doesnt work for M2.
Any help in this regards will be appreciated.

Thanks for noticing that.My Mistake I didnt mention about the error message.
The error message comes in form of a warning saying that the recipients could not be determined.
This happens on top of my maintaining the email ids in master data against the corresponding transactional record values.
Would apperciate if you are able to suggest something here.

Intrastat does not work for purchase documents

Hi,
I do have the problem, if I want to do an Intrastat message, that the supplier is will not be shown in step 4.
I am not sure if this is only related to suppliers, but sales documents like returns or credit notes are taken.
I tried to create an Import message. It seems to be that the complete purchase sector does not work.
I already tried the following things:
- Change the currency of the document to EUR.
- Change the purchase country to Finland from China.
- Adding UID numbers in the document. Chinese suppliers do not have UID numbers.
Has anybody an idea?

Windows 8 search not working for on particular folder on external HDD

I have an external HDD which has a library of pdf documents on it (about 11gigs worth) - it's in my index and it used to be perfectly searchable by windows search until I had the files system converted to NTFS from FAT32. Now it literally will not
find anything in the folder with all the pdfs in it (even if you search "pdf" it wont find a single thing) yet it will find anything else in any other folder on the same drive.
I have no idea what the problem is. That folder is also shared, and is a google drive. Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks, DB

Output Type ZNEU not working for PO document type ZNB

Hi all,
I have copied from standard the document type ZNB, and also the output type ZNEU, (from NB and NEU), I have made and checked all the setting on NACE (condition records, procedures, output types and sequence) everything is same as standard, I have also mantained in the "Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order" the indicators 1 and 2 (for new and change) for ZNEU, and mantained in MN05 the entry for ZNB Doc Type with VN media=1, date/Time=4 so for me these is the only setting needed but for some reason I am not getting the message automaticaly, but if I create manually the message while creating the PO then it works fine.
For Doc type NB and Output type NEU the system gererates correcly the message so I don't know what could be happening here.
The reason I created these copies (ZNB and ZNEU) it's because I have a different plant in a different company code which need to issue PO's and need a different number range and also different FORM (with the logo of the other plant/Company)
Any ideas on how to correct this??

The problem was that in spanish, the function partner VN and CP are PR and PR so this was confusing and the records were crossing each other, thanks to every one

Show in Explorer option not working

Recently started using Lightroom. But I have a problem.
When I right click on a picture and select Show in Explorer nothing happens. Any ideas much appreciated.

You could create a small new catalog for testing, and I guess for XP the old standby of reinstalling the software might work. You are talking 1.3.1. Why not try it anew?

Acroread -landscape option not working for Reader 8.1.3 - Solaris 10

OK I've read the other posts in which others are having this issue as well. I'm hoping this has been fixed or someone can tell me what we need to do to get this working. This use to work with Solaris 9/Reader 5 but when we upgraded to Solaris 10/Reader 8 it stopped working. The ps file use to come out in landscape and then printing it was a no brainer. Now the ps file is coming out potrait (ignoring the landscape option). The next step would be to print this via CUPS but it's printing potrait, same as the ps file. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Running the above command produces a 9780736651325.ps file in potrait format and not landscape. It seems to be ignoring the -landscape option. Please help. Thanks.

OK I emailed you the pdf we were testing with. This works perfectly in Adobe Reader v5. I tried v7.0.9 and it works great from the GUI but not matter what I try I can't get it to save to a ps file correctly from the command line using the -toPostScript options like -landscape and -shrink (although with v5 we don't need to use these sub-options). I also tried 8.1.2 and 8.1.3 and can't get it to print to the ps file correctly in landscape from either the GUI or the command-line. Not sure wht the magic combination is. The ps file should look just like the pdf file. For now we've gone back to Reader v5 since it works but we wanted to use the latest and greatest. Thanks.

IPhone Config Utility 1.1 for Windows: Cert Chooser not working for SSL

I have installed the iPhone Configuration Utility for Windows 1.1 and I cannot add SSL certificates into Configuration Profiles. The Certificate Chooser opens, but there is no way for me to add an SSL certificate. Blank list and no button to browse or add a certificate.
Any solutions to this? Has anyone else seen this? I have tried repairing the installation, and uninstalling/reinstalling the application to no avail.

Escalations team found a problem with the format of the xml file in a very similar issue reported in a TAC case. The format needs to be as below:

"Can close all" option not working for content panel within accordion widget

Hi. I can close an accordion menu by clicking the header but it won't close by clicking on the content panel itself (even though I have can close all selected in the flyout.) I've seen tutorials where it works but I can't replicate. Seems like a bug.

if you using OAW (Outlook AnyWhere) check the authentication method
get-OutlookAnywhere -Identity "<Servername>xpv00645\RPC (Default Web Site)" | fl *AuthenticationMethod*
I think it is set of NTLM or Negotiate.
Outlook 2007 has negotiate
problems at an OAW connection
authentication.
Change the authentication to NTLM for
the internal and Basic for the extenal method.
You need to reconfigure the Outlook Exhange settings to anonymous authentication and in the proxy settings to default authentication
