Wish List: A Lockable Workspace Option!

Would it be possible to lock any workspace I select or create so while I'm working, any miss-cues with the mouse don't alter my workspace. It's really annoying having to re-set workspaces while in a thought process.
Am I alone here?

I'd think so. I've been working with FCP since 2002 and can only recall one time that I needed to reset the window layout. Perhaps you just need better mouse control.
FWIW, you can save and restore custom layouts within FCP very quickly and easily. Have you saved your window layout or are you using one of the standard layouts?

I have a balancer on an ITunes Gift Card But can't seem to make purchases with this balance. I saved 4 items to my wish list but when attempting to purchase/buy I am not given the option. All I see is Gift This Song, Tell a Friend, Share on Twitter, Share on Facebook abd Copy Link. Last made a purchase in June 2013 without any issues. How do I buy music using the unused balance on my gift card? What has changed?

You need to click on the price, not the downward pointing arrow next to them, that should allow you to buy them - the 'buy all' button that used to be on the wish list screen has, for some reason, been removed from the current version of iTunes, so you can only buy items individually

I have listed some of our wish list.
1. Option to add and display joined fields in a Layout.
For example, if we want to display Account related fields in an Opportunity Detail
Layout, we should be able to do it. Currently we can display only Account Name and
Location.
Update 05/12/09: We may be able to use JoinFieldValue to display the value. But this will not be refreshed when the parent field value is changed.
2. Create and display calculated fields.
Update: This option still not available. But we may be able to create a custom field and use default values and WF's to calculate the value
3. Option to add/remove the fields displayed in a Related Info section.
This is supported in Rel.16
4. Currently we cannot have a Record level validation. We can only set Field level validation.
5. Option to associate the Product with Vendor (Account).
*6. Create WF rules and actions across the objects.*
7. Contact Team Assignment.
8. Option to migrate Dev changes into Production easily.
9. We should have the option to add few more custom objects.

10. Option to hide some of the buttons displayed in a layout.

Great list, thanks for putting it together. We can use 90% of what has been listed.
Only Additions I can think of are:
1. I would also like the ability to "Mass Update" many more than 50 records, or even better have a Admin tool that allow mass changes to unlimited numbers of records via simple scripts.
2. Also, the ability to reassign ownerships of related records, so if one person leaves the company their records (Leads, Accounts, Contacts, Opps and Activities) can all be reassigned based on a formula.
The biggest previous item mentioned for us would be the ability to report on other related object values (as stated above). This is a key feature that would really give the needed reporting power and cross object relationships that are desperately needed.

HT5557 I cannot add new/pre-release books to my Wish List.

I can add books that have been previously released. I would think that since iTunes promotes pre-release advertising that they would allow users to flag the title for future purchase.
I click on the down arrow at the Buy/Order/PreOrder window but "Add to Wish List" is not an option.

Thanks. That solved it. I had my doubts since I wasn't concerned about my lost bookmarks. I was concerned about the broken functionality. In any event, restoring from a backup solved both the functionality and the lost bookmarks. I appreciate the response!

Heather, In the new versions of iTunes, items from the Wishlist can only be purchased one at a time. There is no longer a "Buy All" button. Click on the price for each item you want to buy.

The three Rs to IOS, try them in order until the issue is resolved;
Restart - Press and hold the Power button until the red Power Off stripe appears. Swipe to power off. Press and hold the Power button to turn the device back on.
Reset - Press & hold the Power and Home buttons simultaneously, ignoring the red power off slider, until the Apple logo appears. Then release both buttons.
Restore - Connect the device to the Mac or PC with which it is usualy synced and use the iTunes app to restore the device to the factory settings. You can then restore the device with a previously made backup or set it up as new.

My wish list doesn't have an option to buy?

I don't have an option to 'buy' against one or more items in my wish list. I can share, gift etc but not actually buy..anyone else had the same problem?

okay, it could be one of a few things-first, fire up Audio MIDI setup and see if that helps, secondly, there might be something stuck in the headphone jack in the on positin- maybe wiggling around in there with a plastic pen might fix it

I have no Apple item as yet, but I am saving up for the iPad Mini. Before the last iTunes update there was a option on the games to save it to my wish list.
Now after the update I can not see this option any more, has this gone now?

Correct, there is no Wish List in the Mac App Store.

What happened to the option to buy your entire wish list in the iTunes Store?

There use to be a "purchase your entire wish list" option in the iTunes store. So instead of buying 12 songs one at a time for $0.99 each, you could make one purchase for $11.88. That option appears to have been removed, or hidden. At least I can't find it anymore. If it's hidden, where is it? If it's gone, why??

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you do not see the option to buy a song from the iPod. Are you trying to buy the song in iTunes on Windows or from the iPod? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

Buy is NOT an option in my Wish List

My software is all current. I've gone through all the Firewall and Keychain fix-its in the Help area. Connecting to the Store is fine. Internet is fine. Can't test any other device because I haven't got one. No errors are coming up. Account info is all current. The only options I get in the drop down are Gift this Song, some Twitter thing, some Facebook thing and Copy this Link. ??????? All I want to do is buy some stuff off my wish list.
This is the first time I've been in since I got Uverse though. Please tell me that's not the issue. It's not wireless, I'm connected with a LAN.

Yes, I clicked on the price in an odd way and discovered this. Apparently I didn't know that I wanted to buy my entire wish list one song at a time. Silly me, and I thought I had other things to do with my time. Guess I'll be spending a little estra time with apple feedback tonight too.

Just by luck, I solved my own dilemma. While in the App Store, I obviously had only been trying to add "Free" or "Free+" apps to Wish List. Because when I came across an interesting "Paid" app, the Add to Wish List button was there as an option, after pressing the button. Just to confirm this, I tested all three categories. At least on my iPod Touch 5, with latest update installed, I can only save paid apps for later consideration.
