With so many upgrades with the IOS 7 why isn't there a manual just to be able to help go thru and discover all the new features
All these upgrades with the new IOs 7 system why hasn't Apple posted a cheat sheet of sorts so you can take the time to discover and learn those changes

Why isn't there a TechNet forum for ADFS yet? They have been forwarding questions to the "Project Geneva" forum for years now.
It would be nice if there was IT Pro specific forum. The MSDN Geneva forum has people who have programming questions for WIF in addition to people trying to get ADFS and Web App Proxy setup.

I just downloaded the T-Pain rEVOLVEr Album from a gift card, but not all the songs were downloaded to my library. Is there a way to finish downloading the remaining songs without purchasing the entire album?

I understand you are having issues with a couple of songs you recently purchased. It may be that these songs did not download fully, or correctly. The best troubleshooting step may be to delete the songs from your library, and re-download using iTunes in the Cloud (if available in your country).

Symptoms
Occasionally, if a song purchased from the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC was not downloaded completely, the song may not play back fully. The song may abruptly stop during playback, and iTunes may start playing the next song in your library or playlist.
Resolution
If iTunes in the Cloud is available in your country, try the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Delete the purchased song that is exhibiting the problem from your iTunes library.
2. Click on the Purchased link in the iTunes Store to view your previously purchased music.
3. Download your previously purchased song from this list.
Note: iTunes in the Cloud, which allows you to download previously purchased songs from the iTunes Store, is not available in every country. Learn if iTunes in the Cloud is offered in your country.

Saving just 1 or 2 clips for future projects and deleting all the rest.
I have several completed FCP projects that I would like to pick just a small number of clips from to save for future demos. Then I would like to delete those projects to reclaim my hard drive space. If I start a new FCP project and paste the clips into it, will it copy the source media as well, or does it only point to the media in the original project. (Yes, I'm fairly new to FCP).
You can use FCP's Media Manager, but here's what I'd do to keep it straight forward and simple. Place an IN and OUT point on the sections you want to keep then export them each as self-contained movies ... or you can place the clips you want end-to-end and export them all as one movie and cut it up later when you're making your demo reel. Once you've exported the clips you want to keep, you're free to delete the rest.

Press Ctrl-, (comma) to open the Preferences screen. Select the General tab. There's a Language selection drop down at the bottom of the tab - you can choose between UK and US English - as far as I can tell these are always items 9 and 10 in the drop down list, so you should be able to select the appropriate one no matter what the current language setting is.

Why isn't there a chart with ios, mac os and itunes compatibily?
Since there are so many people who have been screwed over by upgrading to a newer ios without knowing that they would need a different version of iTunes that can only work with a newer Mac os, but their computer cannot run that os, so now they are out of luck, WHY isn't there a chart somewhere that shows the compatibility between ios, itunes, Mac os and even Mac computer versions? The info is available if you search for it separately (lots of searches), but I can't find it all in one place. For example, ios7 works only with itunes 11.1 and up on 10.6.8 and up on an intel Mac. That is really useful for people who want to make sure their whole infrastructure is compatible before they upgrade. Does anyone know if something like this exists anywhere? Thanks.

My iPad2 won't sync with iTunes. Upgraded iPad to iOS 6, iTunes is latest version (10.7). Cable connection. What am I missing?
I'm having the same, identical problem. It goes into step 2 (backing up process) then it goes back to step one (finding iPad) and it starts over again. It will just keep doing that for 3 or 4 times until it will say "iPad not found". This is so frustrating.

That sounds horrible. There are a number of reasons it could occur.
The first thing to do is ensure you have adequate backups, because what you describe can be a symptom of impending disk failure.
To help determine the possible causes of this behaviour read the following. None of what follows is intended to fix anything, but it will provide the additional information required to advance troubleshooting. There are four separate parts to it; read everything first.
Boot OS X Recovery by holding ⌘ and r (two fingers) while you start your Mac. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen, select Disk Utility. Select your startup volume (usually named "Macintosh HD") and click the Repair Disk button. Describe any errors it reports in red. If Disk Utility reports "The volume Macintosh HD appears to be OK" in green then you can be reasonably (though not completely) assured your hard disk is in good working order.
When it finishes restart your Mac and test again for operation. If it's still not behaving as you expect it should, please post the results of EtreCheck in accordance with the following instructions:

Safe Mode or "Safe Boot" is a troubleshooting mode that bypasses all third party system extensions and loads only required system components. Read about it: Starting up in Safe Mode
You must disable FileVault before you can start your Mac in Safe Mode.
Starting your Mac in Safe Mode will take longer than usual, graphics will not render smoothly, audio is disabled on some Macs, and some programs (iTunes for example) may not work at all.
Merely starting your Mac in Safe Mode is not intended to resolve the problem, it's to observe its performance without certain additional components.
To end Safe Mode restart your Mac normally. Shutdown will take longer as well.
System performance problems for reasons that cannot be isolated to any other cause justify an SMC reset. Be sure to read the procedure carefully and follow all the steps exactly as written, even if they seem inapplicable or trivial. -
Why isn't there video clipping with iOS 5.1 on a first gen iPad?
I have a first gen iPad and can find no way to clip (simple) a video. iMovie can't run, okay. So why isn't there even the usual, simple edit tool in the photo interface? It's ridiculous ... If the ultimate answer is either jailbreak or upgrade, then why buy Apple going forward?

I also have a 1st gen and, I imagine unlike you, I just can't recall Apple as ever having advertised or promoted it as the perfect platform for video editing .. or, for that matter, ever having addressed that issue at all. My daughter has an iPod touch using my apple ID, I just purchased an iPhone with the same ID. Is there a way to keep my stuff seperate from her ipod but still share the iTunes account? I was looking through the photo section on my iPhone and found pics my daughter has taken from her iPod. I do not want my pics, emails, etc to show up on her iPod. Is there a way to stop this from happening or do I have to create a different Apple ID for her to use instead?

Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases. -
I just bought my apple tv yesterday and SET UP THE HOME SHARING ON MY COMPUTER, I CAN STREAM MY PHOTOS AND SEE ALL THE VIDEOS AND LISTEN SONGS IN MY ITUNES, BUT CAN NOT DO HOME SHARING, ON THE TV, ALWAYS SHOWS "TURN ON HOME SHARING ON YOUR OMPUTER WITH YOUR ID WHICH I DID BUT NOTHING HAPPEN. WHAT'S WRONG? WHAT SHALL I DO NOW?
I have found with AppleTV that it is the IPV6 on the computer you want to access is the problem. The issue is that Homegroup on Win 7 or Win 8 requires IPV6 to work, but AppleTV won't work with IPV6. (So maybe double check you have IPV6 turned off)
So you have to make a choice - Homegroup or AppleTV.... but you can't have both, until Apple brings ATV up to date. (crazy that it does not recognise IPV6 - c'mon Apple!)
You can set up sharing individually in Win 7 or 8 and have the ATV access files that way.
Having said that, there is always the exception.. I have an old HP home server running Win8 and it services ATV - but is part of the Homegroup... have no idea why it works on both, but no other machine on the home network will talk to both ATV and Homegroup at the same time! -
My Facetime will not work on my Macbook Pro. This has always worked in the past and now all the sudden it says that I have encountered a problem with the server and registration. I tried to check the date and time zone which is correct and I have no restrictions set.

Try the remaining items of:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

he should be having some reasons in not providing it.Because it's essentially impossible in the general case. One of the reasons you may be extending a class is to add new invariants to the superclass.
eg- extend java.awt.Rectangle by BoundedRectangle - extra invariant that none of its corner points may be less than 0 or more than 100 in any dimension. (The rectangle must be entirely contained in the area (0,0)-(100,100))
What would happen if you try to create a BoundedRectangle from a rectangle representing (50,50)-(150,150)? Complete invariant breakdown, with no generic way to handle it, or even recognise it.

Why can't you write the copy constructor yourself? If it's a special case, it only has to be done once. If it's a recurring case, you could write a code generation tool to write them for you, along with most of the rest of the class. -
