Wont publish properly. photos missing. OK on safari
hi everyone. I just tried to republish my site with iweb. the photos are all missing. but all can be seen on safari. I usually use fire fox but checked safari when someone else mentioned this had happened. any ideas any one? thanks!
There are files for the PDF page that are missing from the folder titled PDFs-files. If you used iWeb to upload the site try using the File ➙ Upload Entire Site to force a reupload of all files. If you're using a 3rd party FTP application to upload all you need to reload is the PDFs-files folder.
The last page,Research into Homeopathy , doesn't load as it's missing one file: default.aspx from the whats-new/research folder.
You can see all of the missing files by bringing up the Activity window (Command+Option+A) in Safari while viewing those pages.

Photos Missing from Published Podcast
I am attempting to publish my podcast using Garageband 3.0.2 and iWeb 1.1.1. Everything EXCEPT the podcast track is publishing. I've tried it twice. When I review prior to publishing, the photos in the podcast track all work perfectly. However, when I publish, it the episode artwork is all that I see.

Photo Page will no longer publish new photos
I have an Photo Album with with 12 Photo Pages. Total number of photos in the Album is 364. My newest Page will no longer publish new photos. The Album and Photo Pages, up to now, have been working fine. Is this a case of where I need to break up the Album Page.
The "empty cache" command is gone from the Safari dropdown but Option/Command/E still works and is in the develop menu.
A hard refresh (Shift/Command/R) has been missing for a long time - maybe V 4?
Safari is becoming more and more dumb with every update. I keep saying that its hardly worth testing in Safari since its a minority browser but does anybody listen?

My phone sometimes wont show voice mail,sometimes wont ring just shows missed calls,and some text messages wont show received till next day. Can anyone help?
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Try reseating or replacing the SIM card.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).

until yesterday i have been happily using Viber. suddenly the App wont open properly, tries to but times out and sends me back to
the main screen on my iphone 3. i have tried deleting, rebooting and reinstalling but doesnt solve it. after downloading again from
i-tunes i fail to receive the access code. push notifications are on, nothing has changed on my phone settings since it was working.

Then restart your iPad.

Hi Ever Since I Installed Leopard My Version Of iMovie '08 Wont Open Properly In The Dock Is Says It Is Open And On The Bar At The Top It Says iMovie '08 But No Window Opens And I Cant Make A New Project Or Anything. I Have Also Reinstalled It As Well And Still the Same Problem.

ThanksActually after some digging around in the Apple Message Boards I found the problem. I went to system preferences, selected, displays, then chose "color" and pick any new profile. I chose the "srgb...." profile, then exited system prefs. When I opened iMovie... tada! it worked. Strange fix, but OK.

Use your Software Update under the Apple menu, it SHOULD bring Safari up to 5.1.9 on OS X 10.6.8.
Apple IS issuing security and other updates for Snow Leopard users.
OS X 10.4/10.5 need to upgrade, 10.6.8 ok still
Safari 6+ is only for 10.7+ users as OS X is morphing into iOS.
10.7 and 10.8 will not run your PPC based apps of 10.5/10.6
If Software Update is not working, then you have other issues, backup your users folders off the machine to a external storage drive (not TimeMachine!) and run through this list of fixes.

I disconnected my iPhone in the middle of an iTunes update. Now it wont run properly what do I do? I was working online and I recieved a pop up from iTunes stating that there was an harwared update for my iPhone. I had it plugged up for a while , long enoung for me to watch a tv show have dinner and come back. I thought the update was complete and came back to the computer and unplugged it. The next morning I saw a picture of aUSB cord and the iTunes icon. I have no use of my phone and cannot get access to emails, internet contacts..nothing . Help !
Well it should NEVER be unplugged when doing something.
It actually had not installed the software at that stage, it had been copied over to the iPhone, it was being checked and then it would be installed.
You need to connect your iPhone to the computer at home and hope that you can install the software again and then restore your backup.
If you install iTunes at work you may be able to Restore the software but you will most likely lose the content on your iPhone as you do not have a backup to restore on that computer, or all your media / apps. -
Hi,
My Itunes 11.0.04 wont load properly on my Macbook running 10.7.2. Once i click on the itunes icon it flashes up and dissapears, the music still plays but i cant actually see the itunes interface at all.
Having trouble finding anything about this.
Any help would be great.

iTunes is being very difficult atm! reinstalled the iTunes software and the error message comes 'iTunes wont install properly...'.
I have run a diagnostics test and hoping someone can point in the direction of how to fix it! cannot even connect my iphone device to it.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

During import Aperature wont show all photos on memory card.
During import Aperature wont show all photos on memory card. Typically loads the previews of the first 15 photos only showing "loading assets" and spinning wheel. Running Aperature 3.2.3 on MBP 2.16 core duo 2gb ram importing from a SD card reader contining approx 300 nikon d3100 NEF files. Created a new user account and new library with same results.
Could be the card. Transfer the files to your HD using Finder, and then import into Aperture. All OK?
Then reformat your card in your camera, and see if the problem recurs. Also: does it happen with other cards? Does it happen with the card in the camera (instead of in your card reader)? -

Aperture album contents not all showing on Apple TV photos; random photos missing
Only noticed this problem by chance when searching for a particular set of photos while viewing Aperture photos via an Apple TV 2. Some Albums are fine others have a random number of photos missing (compared with viewing in Aperture itself) with as little as one photo being shown when there are hundreds in the Album. Any suggestions/ideas as to whether the problem may a set up issue or systematic?
You may not have previews built for the photos that are not showing up. Select all the pictures in the Album that is not displaying all photos, right click while holding the mouse over one of the selected photos, and then select "update previews". After Aperture has built previews for all the photos in that album, you may have to quit Aperture before they will all show up on the AppleTV (when you quit Aperture you will see a progress bar saying "updating sharing preferences", or something to that effect).
If there is a way to get Aperture to update sharing preferences without quiting, will someone reply to the method to achive this? So far, quiting is the only way I have discovered to force Aperture to update the sharing prefs.
Let us know if this works. Usually photos not showing up outside of Aperture is caused from not having previews built for those photos. -
