Work flow n tcode

Hi,
Can an existing workflow, linked with an event, could be linked with a different tcode related event ? So that the event carried out via that tcode generates the workflow. Plz do reply.

  • URL is not displayed in Work flow task of CRM UI and displayed in SOST/SWIA Tcode

    Hi All,
    I am trying to display the dynamic URL with short link in work flow task, the same got properly displayed in SOST/swia Tcode but not displayed in CRM UI under work list of user, may I know how to solve it?
    code in work flow task under description is below :
    /*   <A HREF= www.google.com>Portal UWL</A>
    Thanks,
    VijHyd

    Hi
    You need to check with your CRM UI Consultant if HTML Tags are read and rendered.
    Screens in SOST are rendered using HTML and hence you can see the links. You may face the same issue if you send to outlook and if outlook settings do not support HTML.... whereas it may work on Yahoo or Gmail as the web page will render using HTML.
    So, check with your UI colleagues as to how HTML tags can be displayed correctly.

  • Work flow

    Dear all,
    we need a workflow for creation of material master.
    Say Basic data is created by MM dept.
    then MRP  & work Scheduling views are created by PP dept.,
    then Purchase views are by MM again,
    then inventory dept. creates storage locations,and f
    inally finance dept creates Costing & Accounting views.
    Our requirement is when over one dept. completes creation of their respective view, mail should get triggered to  subsequent dept. to continue the work.
    regards,

  • How can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.

    how can we use TABLE CONTROL in BDC and WORK FLOW of ABAP.?
    please explain the important questions.

    How to deal with table control / step loop in BDC
    Steploop and table contol is inevitable in certain transactions. When we run BDC for such transactions, we will face the situation: how many visible lines of steploop/tablecontrol are on the screen? Although we can always find certain method to deal with it, such as function code 'NP', 'POPO', considering some extreme situation: there is only one line visible one the screen, our BDC program should display an error message. (See transaction 'ME21', we you resize your screen to let only one row visible, you can not enter mutiple lines on this screen even you use 'NP')
    Now with the help of Poonam on sapfans.com developement forum, I find a method with which we can determine the number of visible lines on Transaction Screen from our Calling BDC program. Maybe it is useless to you, but I think it will give your some idea.
    Demo ABAP code has two purposes:
    1. how to determine number of visible lines and how to calculte page number;
    (the 'calpage' routine has been modify to meet general purpose usage)
    2. using field symbol in BDC program, please pay special attention to the difference in Static ASSIGN and Dynamic ASSIGN.
    Now I begin to describe the step to implement my method:
    (I use transaction 'ME21', screen 121 for sample,
    the method using is Call Transation Using..)
    Step1: go to screen painter to display the screen 121, then we can count the fixed line on this screen, there is 7 lines above the steploop and 2 lines below the steploop, so there are total 9 fixed lines on this screen. This means except these 9 lines, all the other line is for step loop. Then have a look at steploop itselp, one entry of it will occupy two lines.
    (Be careful, for table control, the head and the bottom scroll bar will possess another two fixed lines, and there is a maximum number for table line)
    Now we have : FixedLine = 9
                  LoopLine  = 2(for table control, LoopLine is always equal to 1)
    Step2: go to transaction itself(ME21) to see how it roll page, in ME21, the first line of new page is always occupied by the last line of last page, so it begin with index '02', but in some other case, fisrt line is empty and ready for input.
    Now we have: FirstLine = 0
              or FirstLine = 1 ( in our case, FirstLine is 1 because the first line of new page is fulfilled)
    Step3: write a subroutine calcalculating number of pages
    (here, the name of actual parameter is the same as formal parameter)
    global data:    FixedLine type i, " number of fixed line on a certain screen
                    LoopLine  type i, " the number of lines occupied by one steploop item
                    FirstLine type i, " possbile value 0 or 1, 0 stand for the first line of new                                                               " scrolling screen is empty, otherwise is 1
                    Dataline  type i, " number of items you will use in BDC, using DESCRIBE to get
                    pageno    type i, " you need to scroll screen how many times.
                    line      type i, " number of lines appears on the screen.
                    index(2)  type N, " the screen index for certain item
                    begin     type i, " from parameter of loop
                    end       type i. " to parameter of loop
    *in code sample, the DataTable-linindex stands for the table index number of this line
    form calpage using FixedLine type i (see step 1)
                       LoopLine  type i (see step 1)
                       FirstLine type i (see step 2)
                       DataLine  type i ( this is the item number you will enter in transaction)
              changing pageno    type i (return the number of page, depends on run-time visible                                                                             line in table control/ Step Loop)
              changing line      type i.(visible lines one the screen)
    data: midd type i,
          vline type i, "visible lines
    if DataLine eq 0.
       Message eXXX.
    endif.
    vline = ( sy-srows - FixedLine ) div LoopLine.
    *for table control, you should compare vline with maximum line of
    *table control, then take the small one that is min(vline, maximum)
    *here only illustrate step loop

                    pageno = pageno - 1.
            endif.
    endif.
    line = vline.
    endform.
    Step4 write a subroutine to calculate the line index for each item.
    form calindex using Line type i (visible lines on the screen)
                        FirstLine type i(see step 2)
                        LineIndex type i(item index)
              changing  Index type n.    (index on the screen)
      if  FirstLine = 0.
            index = LineIndex mod Line.
            if index = '00'.
                    index = Line.
            endif.
      elseif FirstLine = 1.
            index = LineIndex mod ( Line - 1 ).
            if ( index between 1 and 0 ) and LineIndex gt 1.

            if Line = 2.
                    index = index + Line - 1.
            endif.
    endif.
    endform.
    Step5 write a subroutine to calculate the loop range.
    form calrange using Line type i ( visible lines on the screen)
                        DataLine type i
                        FirstLine type i
                        loopindex like sy-index

  • Using attachments in work-flow and creating custom text with key values

    Hi,
    I have 2 simple requirements.
    1. how to attach a tcode or trigger method of business object for work-flow item. The user should be able to navigate to transaction to see data before approval or rejection.
    2. I have created custom task for long text that will be displayed in the SAP inbox. How do I provide key values in this long text.  I was able to do in the subject line using Substitution parameters(&Name1& etc..)
    Regards
    Kasi

    I did the same thing. see details.
    Created Workitem and attached a task "TS92500097". in the task, I mentioned Business Object and method to be called. I have set the binding also for this business object. the method I am calling is nothing but just "display" which is using call transaction.  2 problems here.
    1. How do I show  this "BusinessObject.Display" as an attachment or link in the mail.
    2. how do I assign key values during exection of this attachment or link.
    Regards
    Kasi

  • Work flow for invoice verification

    I would like to know how to find out/display the workflow related to MIRO transaction code, miro is invoice verification, how to find the z table created for this workflow.
    given a work flow template number, how to view this template
    thanks

    Hello,
    For MIRO the associated :
    1) BOR : BUS2081
    2) Workflow : WS20001004
    Can you elaborate your requirement on z table?
    If i have correctly understood your requirement :
    To display the workflow template, run Tcode SWDD or
    PFTC, select WS Workflow Template and give the workflow number without the prefix 'WS'
    To make sure the Workflow is triggered, make sure the entry SWETYPV.
    Run SWELS, and switch on Trace.
    Run TCode : MIRO and check in SWEL, to make sure the Workflow has triggered without errors.
    To start with, i hope this helps...
    Cheers,
    Remi

  • Work flow triggering

    Hi experts,
       I need to trigger an workflow email from my abap program and configure the workflow to get the mail in outlook express.
    Can anyone pls help on 1. How to configure the workflow to send an email to outlook express
                                       2. how to trigger an work flow in abap program
    I am novice to wokflow pls brief me with details or example.
    Thanks in advance
    sai

    Hello Sai,
    You can direct the mail from your SAP mailbox to your outlook or you can do it programatically too.
    In SBWP tcode, Goto Settings menu -> Goto Office settings -> Goto Automatin forwarding tab and enter your email id there.
    The mails in your SAP inbox will be forwarded to your outlook
    If you want to do it programatically,
    It first depends how you are triggering your workflow.
    If it is by an event, you can use the SWE_CERATE_EVENT to first trigger the event and then the workflow is started. Attach a business object to a task in the workflow which call the function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 that will send the mail to your outlook inbox
    Here lies the sample code as of how to use this FM, SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
    report yh_email.
    data: email type somlreci1-receiver value '[email protected]'.
    data: sender type SOEXTRECI1-RECEIVER value 'SAPDEV02'.
    data: imessage type standard table of solisti1 with header line,
    iattach type standard table of solisti1 with header line,
    ipacking_list like sopcklsti1 occurs 0 with header line,
    ireceivers like somlreci1 occurs 0 with header line,
    iattachment like solisti1 occurs 0 with header line.
    start-of-selection.
    clear imessage. refresh imessage.
    imessage = 'This is a mail from SAP ECC6'.
    append imessage.
    imessage = 'Thanks and Regards'.
    append imessage.

  • Work flow configuration

    hi all,
    I have a problem regarding the work flow configuration as from work flow developer i am taking a role of work flow adminstration for a new role out. I have problem configuring the swu3 tcode for new SAP ECC6.0. please let me know what are the necessary work bench requests and custom requests needed to be done and transported to production.
    I have a problem with the new configured SAP ECC 6.0 in swdd the view is not changing from Tree mode to Graphical mode please help with this issue.
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Krishna C M

    Hello Chaitanya,
    The option to change the modeling view is disabled in ECC 6.0, which is Graphical(Network) by default. But you can have a similar type of view of the steps in the displayed in the workflow definition under the navigation area tab. This is present to the left in the screen of workflow builder under the Information area.
    From the SAP online help you can see that "You can only use the graphical modeling view if you are working with the SAPGUI for Windows. If you call the Workflow Builder using a different SAP GUI, the tree view is displayed automatically."
    But still if you want to see the tree view of a workflow definition just change the tab "Graphical Tab" to "Tree Modelling" which is present at the top of the workflow graphical diagram beside the Information area tab.
    Hope this will help you.
    Regards,
    Samson
