Workstations not displaying associated application objects?

I have come across 2 (so far) workstations that are not displaying any workstation associated app's. It does not show them in NALDIAG. The user associated app's show as normal. The same app's are fine when associated to other workstations.

Query "Preferred Connection" on support.novell.com
There is a REG key where you can tell it a Replica Server to connect
initially.
See if that helps.
Also, there are settings that control whether it should attempt to
reconnect on refresh in C1. Make sure its enabled.

  • Crystal Reports not displaying embedded OLE Objects in browser

    I am building an .net web application.  I am using VS2013 and have my report displaying ok in report viewer in the browser.  Only issue I have is i have embedded images, checkboxes and empty checkboxes, to signify if a user has selected certain criteria.  However, these images do not display at all.  Instead, in Firefox, 'Image' is displayed in its place.
    Please help.  How can I get these images to display without having to try and figure out how to stream it to pdf and show pdf instead of the default crystal report viewer.
    I have attached some screen shots for you as well.

    Hi Doug,
    Lots of posts on this issue:

    Has most of the info for you.
    To get the runtime version you have installed add this to your app:
    string CRVer;
    public frmMain()
        // Required for Windows Form Designer support
        InitializeComponent();
        foreach (Assembly MyVerison in AppDomain.CurrentDomain.GetAssemblies())
            if (MyVerison.FullName.Substring(0, 38) == "CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine")
                //File:             C:\Windows\assembly\GAC_MSIL\CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine\13.0.2000.0__692fbea5521e1304\CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll

                System.Diagnostics.FileVersionInfo fileVersionInfo = System.Diagnostics.FileVersionInfo.GetVersionInfo(MyVerison.Location);
                txtRuntimeVersion.Text += fileVersionInfo.FileVersion.ToString();
                // check if CrsytalDecisions.Enterprise dll's can be loaded ( Anything but Cortez - managed reporting )
                if (fileVersionInfo.FileVersion.Substring(0, 2) == "13")

  • Win 7 IE 11 ToolTips are not displayed on Charting object

    In Win 7 IE 11 the DataVisulation Charting object does not display tooltips on hover.
    This functions properly in WinXP IE8, Win 8.1 IE 11,  Firefox, and Chrome. I've seen similar issues reported, but have not seen a resolution.
    Has anyone out there encountered this issue?
    Thanks,
    Carl

    I am running into the exact same issue. It does not matter if the tool tip is called in code behind or withing the series tag itself. Win7 running IE11 does not show the tool tip on hover/mouse-over. Tested on multiple systems with the same results.
    This can be reproduced using the "Samples Environment for Microsoft Chart Controls".
    Running Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010 open the project and run in browser to launch the development server. Go to any sample that uses the "tooltip".
    Windows 8.1 or Server 2008 R2 both show the tool tips in IE11. Only seems to affect Win7 running IE11. Safari, Chrome and Firefox all display the tool tip without issue running on the same Win7 system.
    I also tested on two actual server platforms. 2003 R2 fully updates to get the latest .Net browser definitions and on a 2008 R2 server fully updates with .NET 4.5. The results are the same. Win7 running IE11 does not show the tool tips on a simple bar chart.
    Is there a solutions for this or workaround?
    Thanks
    Chuck

  • Applescript menu not displaying current application scripts

    When I view the scripts menu in finder, it doesn't look like it does here. http://www.apple.com/applescript/scriptmenu/02.html
    I don't have all the finder actions at the bottom of the menu for some reason, despite the preference being checked. All my finder actions remain in the Finder Actions menu.
    And secondly, how do you assign a keyboard shortcut to a script in the menu?

    Ok, I seem to have figured out somewhat but still don't really understand some things.
    All the example scripts are located in 'Library/Scripts' so there's 'Library/Scripts/Finder Scripts' and 'Library/Scripts/Mail Scripts' etc etc.
    My '~/Library/Scripts' folder is empty.
    What I now realise is, in order to get scripts displayed as in the pic above, in the 'current application scripts' list. The direct structure has to be like this:
    '~/Library/Scripts/Applications/<app name>/script.scpt'
    and when in an application, such as Mail. All the scripts within '~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Mail' will be displayed in the current application scripts.
    So why then, are the example scripts not inside a folder called 'Applications' within the scripts folder? and why say, are finder scripts not in a folder called 'Finder'? because when they're in 'Finder Scripts' they dont appear in the current application scripts list.
    Does that make sense?

  • Worksheet Functions not Supported by Application Object, VBA Mod is not the same as Excel Mod

    kb article 107564 states that VBA Mod function is the same as excel Mod funciton.
    and as a result of this the Excel Mod function is not available in VBA.
    The vba help provides examples and specificaly states that the mod is rounded to an integer:
    Dim MyResult
    MyResult = 10 Mod 5 ' Returns 0.
    MyResult = 10 Mod 3 ' Returns 1.
    MyResult = 12 Mod 4.3 ' Returns 0.
    MyResult = 12.6 Mod 5 ' Returns 3.
    However using excel Mod(x,y) function: these results occur:
    Mod(10,5) = 0
    Mod(10,3) = 1
    Mod(12,4.3) = 3.4
    Mod(12.6,5) = 2.6
    This is from Excel 2010.
    How can we get the Application to use the Excel Worksheet function?

    Roll your own:
    Sub TestMacro()
        '12.3 Mod 3.4 should return 2.1
        MsgBox WSMod(12.3, 3.4)
    End Sub
    Function WSMod(dN As Double, dD As Double) As Double
        WSMod = (dN / dD - Int(dN / dD)) * dD
    End Function

  • Keywords in topic-based index not displaying in application tab

    We have a large binary index built from topic-based keywords.
    The project itself is fairly substantial (2800+ topics), and the
    .chm file produced works fine, index and all. However, only a small
    fraction of the keywords display on the index tab of the RH
    application.
    Editing the rhakeyword.apj file doesn't seem to have any
    effect. Right now, for example, the file in use is totally empty,
    but the same subset of topics is displaying in RH.

    Monday morning update: Friday afternoon the reimporting of
    topics seemed to be rebuilding the index. This morning, upon
    reopening the project and resuming the process, the topics I was
    importing stopped registering on the index tab. Attempting to add
    them manually, though, resulted in the "topic already exists"
    message.
    Further testing: I added several hundred topics Friday,
    nothing shows in the rhkkeyword.apj file. All of a sudden today RH
    is adding index entries there.
    This is getting silly.

  • Launchpad does not display all applications

    Hi,
    Not a biggie but thought it might show some industrial strife in the background!
    I've installed ML and now launchpad does not show Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc). They are still installed, perfectly usable, and on the dock anyway, but is this a sign of corporate friction, or something more sinister?!?!?!?
    Regards,
    Richard.

  • IE does not display my flash movie

    Hello fellows, I am having a huge problem with MIE. It does
    not displays the flash object embed! Firefox works fine, but IE
    doesn't!
    Here are the codes:
    quote:
    Code made by me:
    <object width="757" height="153">
    <param name="movie" value="/script/top.swf"> <param
    name="quality" value=high>
    <param name="play" value=true> <param name="bgcolor"
    value=#0000000>
    <param name="wmode" value="transparent">
    <embed src="/script/top.swf" width="757" height="153"
    wmode="transparent">
    </embed>
    </object>
    The funny thing is that I use almost the same code to display
    another flash movie and it WORKS for the second!!! Why is that? The
    Firefox displays both of them fine.
    I tried a second code:
    quote:
    Code generated by Flash itself:
    <object
    classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" odebase="
    http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,0,0"
    width="757" height="153" id="top" align="middle">
    <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
    <param name="movie" value="script/top.swf" />
    <param name="quality" value="high" />
    <param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" />
    <embed src="script/top.swf" quality="high"
    bgcolor="#000000" width="757" height="153" name="top"
    align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain"
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="
    http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
    </embed>
    </object>
    When I use the code above it returns to me an error on line
    215, but my file has only 196 lines! And if I count the included
    javascript, the possible lines are commentaries. The Firefox works
    fine.
    What is wrong with IE?
    See ya!
    Augusto

    > <object width="757" height="153">
    All the essential stuff is missing form the <object>

    "odebase"? should be "codebase"
    Use the tags generated by Flash when you publish to HTML and
    things should
    be fine. Don't try to do it yourself unless you are an expert
    (and even
    experts don't just typ in tags themselves .. they copy and
    paste from
    previous html they have that works)

  • Application Catalog Displaying No Applications

    Hello All:
    I am having a very strange problem with the App Catalog. It has been working flawlessly ever since we set it up. We have several applications deployed to All Users, some requiring admin approval and some available to everyone. It was even working earlier
    today. All of a sudden, for no reason that I can think of, the App Catalog is not displaying any applications - I just get "No applications are available at this time". I am perplexed.
    Site status has some errors that it's not responding to HTTP requests, however these are irrelevant because we've always had those errors and the App Catalog point is obviously responding to HTTP and HTTPS requests because the App Catalog is displaying,
    it's just not showing our apps.
    The only results Google has given me are for n00bs that didn't understand that you needed to deploy apps to user collections in order for apps to display, that is not the case here. Anybody experience this before?

  • Embedded application/x-shockwave-flash objects will not display

    4.0b9 on Windows XP
    I just get a white section where a shockwave flash object should be, and in all the occurences I've found it's when the flash object is embedded. Youtube works just fine, though...
    In the "white section" I can right-click and get the options for Adobe Flash Player 10, but I cannot actually choose any of the menu options.
    In some cases, I can choose to display the flash object in another tab, and then it works just fine. Typically an embedded youtube movie clip acts like that that, but not always.
    In an example, I see only a white section where the shockwave flash object should be visible in Pichfork TV - http://pitchfork.com/tv/
    When I open the page information, in the media section, list of URL's, I find an URL that is both grey and italic, and describes this URL as type Embedded:
    URL - http://pitchfork-cdn.s3.amazonaws.com/player/DelveMoviePlayer.swf
    Type - application/x-shockwave-flash
    I assume this URL is grey and italic because it is not loaded or opened in the pitchfork TV site.
    This is the same problem with most embedded flash objects, and I really hope someone can help me! I've browsed aroud the support forums and tried a lot of different tips, but to no avail.
    I have of course uninstalled and reinstalled both flash player and shockwave from adobe's site, and made sure it's not the active-x version for IE that's installed.
    My add-in manager claims that Shockwave Flash 10.1 r102 is installed and enabled, and the release is the latest available according to adobe.com.
    I have also tried to open FF in secure/private mode, but same problem in both modes.
    Just to check, I tried to open this site with IE8, and there it displays correctly (and I also remembered why I don't ever use IE8, haha...), so apparently the active-x part of shockwave/flash works...
    BR, Torgeir

    OK, so now I've tried again to open FF in safe mode again, but the problem is still unsolved. Same problem in safe mode.
    The hardware acceleration in the flash player is set to disabled long before I posted this problem.
    I didn't know that Pitchfork had such a special flash player, but the problem is the same on any sites. Just chose Pitchfork because it's an English site. Bad example then...
    Here's a better example: NME.com:
    http://www.nme.com/musicvideos/my-chemical-romance-sing/832454
    Here I only see a white space where the flash object is embedded (if it really IS embedded, I dont't know how these things work). But I can right-click and get the dialog for Adobe Flash Player 10 properties (such as settings and global settings), and if I'm lucky to hit the start button (wich I don't see), the flash object starts playing, and I hear all sound but see no image.
    I open the page info menu, and here I find in the list of media URL's the link to the flash object, described as an embedded object in the NME site:
    URL: http://www.muzu.tv/player/getPlayer/a/RSFVcmvHJ4/autostart=n&includeAll=y&soundoff=n&vidId=832454&videotype=hq
    Type: application/x-shockwave-flash
    It's grey and italic in the list of media URL's, and I assume that's because it's not properly loaded.
    But if I copy the URL from the media URL list and paste it into the adress field of a new tab, I can both see and hear the flash object without a problem.
    This is exactly the same issue with local sites that have embedded web radio stations. Cant see the object, and have to be quite lucky to hit the start button. But by stepping via info for site and copy the URL to the flash object and paste it into a new, empty tab, I can both see and hear whatever was supposed to display in the original site.
    Any help would be more than welcome! So many of the sites I use most has embedded flash objects, so if I cannot solve this I have to find another browser. I REALLY don't want to, because otherwise I really love FF...

    Please tell us more as "not working" can mean a lot of things. So:
    Are they user or workstation associated?
    Are those for whick they do not work (users or workstations) all in the
    same container?
    In what way do they not work?
    Any errors?

  • Database schema SCM does not contain the associated database objects

    I am getting the following error when i am trying to migrate the form to apex using application migration.
    "*Database schema SCM does not contain the associated database objects for the project, aafs.*
    *Ensure the database schema associated with the project contains the database objects associated with the uploaded Forms Module .XML file(s).* ".
    Actully i am having one schema which i named as SCM, and i have defined one table TT.
    I created one form test.fmb in which i used TT table.its compiled successfully.
    Then i generated the xml file using frmf2xml from fmb file. After that, I created the project in appication migration wizard in SCM schema.
    Project creattion is working fine.but when i m trying to create application,it is showing me above error.
    can any one help in solving this problem.

    Hi Hilary,
    Thanks for your response/feedback.
    1. The schema associated with the project does not contain the necessary objects Can you please verify that the schema associated with your Forms conversion project does in fact contain the objects associated with the uploaded files. Could you also verify that the object names referenced in the error message do not exist within the schema associated with your workspace. Ensure that the schema associated with the project contains the necessary database objects before proceeding to the generation phase of the conversion process.
    Ans:
    Yes it does contain the objects (See results from SQL query Commands below):
    SELECT MWRA_CONTRACT_NO, OLD_CONTRACT_NO FROM PROJECTS@CONTRACT_LX19.MWRA.NET
    ORDER BY MWRA_CONTRACT_NO
    000000569 551TA

    000000575 560TA

    2. The block being converted contains buttons, which may have been incorrectly identified as database columns, and included in the original or enhanced query associated with your block This is a known issue ,bug 9827853, and a fix will be available in our upcoming 4.0.1 patch release. Some possible solutions to this issue are:
    -> delete the buttons before generating the XML
    -> delete the button tags from the XML
    -> add "DatabaseItem=No" for the button in the XML file before importing it in Apex.The button is excluded when creating the Application.
    Ans
    yes it does contain push buttons to transfer to another forms and these are defined as Non data base items. Parial XML code provided below:

    <Trigger Name="WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED" TriggerText="GO_BLOCK('REPORT_1');" />
