Write from one window to another?

I am using this code just to write into a textboxWhat textbox? All I see is a MessageDialog.
Anyway, Assuming you're using a JTextField, add a reference to the text field(s) you want to update:
private class TextFieldHandler implements ActionListener //line85
  private List fields = new ArrayList();
  public void addField(JTextField f) {
    fields.add(f);
  public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
    if(e.getSource()==txt1)
      Iterator it = fields.iterator();
      while (it.hasNext()) {
        JTextField f = (JTextField)it.next();
        f.setText(txt1.getText());
}
