Error in receiver SAP system , while reading the xml received over Proxy

Hi,
I am having one FTP to Proxy scenario, receiving complex XML file at FTP and have to pass this exact file to proxy in a single field.
As no mapping is required, created a data type with single node and both sender and receiver end.
After executing scenario, Data is displayed properly in PI moni, but when the file is received at SAP end, its giving error in SAP system moni that
"Error during XML => ABAP conversion".
The same scenario, when we are executing using SOAP or Mail sender adapter and proxy receiver, the interface is working fine at both ends.In SOAP and mail scenario, they are sending XML data enclosed in SOAP envelope.
but when the data is received at PI, the SOAP envelope is removed, and CDATA is being read by PI, and interface working fine.
Please provide your inputs in case of FTP sender.

Thanks for your response.
SOAP and Mail scenario are also using the same inbound proxy structure , and the proxy is working fine in both cases.
For FTP scenario we are reusing the same inbound proxy but we are facing error .
SAP is getting
"XML to ABAP Conversion error with error id as "CX_ST_MATCH_ELEMENT " System expected the element 'Namespace of the inbound service interface' .
Please guide.

Message flow in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only for ABAP Proxy synchronous scenario with Oracle DB

Dear Experts,
I am working on a synchronous scenario Sender ABAP Proxy <===> SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only <===> Oracle Database.I have successfully
configured all the proxy configurations as well both Sender SOAP and JDBC receiver channels are showing no error when pinged from
Cc monitoring in NWA.
1.During testing at Tx SPROXY , I am triggering a message and after 5 minutes I receive an PARSING error message with 2 messages in ECC
local IE i.e. Tx SXMB_MONI.
Note : In NWA , I can see only 1 message that too in cancelled status.
2.Seeing the trace of the messages I assume that the messages have not moved from sender ECC system. I am still confused with flow of message
from the Message Audit log. Audit log of error messages.Could any one share the full Audit log of a successful message generated in SAP PI 7.31 JAVA only.
3.I observed that the QIN Scheduler status in ECC is in INACTIVE status. There is no queue id for 2 messages generated in ECC. Does
it should in ACTIVE status in Tx SMQR..

Valuable inputs..
1. Since I don't have any audit log for successful message, would you be able to share referring to the
below screenshot whether the message was put into receiver JDBC adapter and JDBC adapter tried to retrieve the Select response from Oracle Database.
2.I have done some setting in Advance mode of the receiver JDBC to increase the time out and other parameters as per SAP note but still the issue is same. If you perhaps have some experience in such scenarios, please share some input so that I can ask the Oracle Database administrator exactly what is required from our side.
3.Regarding the slow response from Oracle , there was some suggestion that the datatype of the request and response should match the column name of the Oracle database. I did that.. Do you have any more suggestion that may be hampering the generation of the response message from the Oracle like SAP note or document.

3 sap(integrate legacy with XI - Inbound and outbound proxy

We are planning to have 3 sap (SRM,BI and CRM) systems to integrate with legacy systems . All the systems have inbound as well as outbound proxy calls. I have few questions:
1.What are the different steps to be configured to make this scenario work with one XI instance .
Does any one have this kind of scenario.
I know we can do it without proxy calls .

SAP Query - Need to join 3 Tables via outer join

Hi,
I need to join 3 Tables using SAP Query. I wish an OUTER JOIN to be performed for the table join.
For Example:
Table 1 has 1000 Entries           Field A             Field B
Table 2 has 300 Entries             Field A            Field C
Table 3 has 100 Entries             Field A           Field D
The normal Join (INNER JOIN) gives me only the records that exists in all the 3 Tables.
But what i need is:
In the above example, If one entry in Table 1 has no matching records in Table 2 / Table 3, there should be an output entry in the SAP Query like
Field A            Field B              Field C            Field D
xxxx              yyyy                  Blank             Blank
If there is a common record that exists in the tables, that record should appear in the same entry in the Query output.
Field A            Field B              Field C            Field D
xxxx              yyyy                  zzzz              aaaa
In this way, there should be a minimum of 1000 entries (Largest no of records in the Tables joined). More than 1000 records in the Query output depends on the number of common records.
Kindly help if you have come across such a scenario.

Changes in httpd.conf and sap server 7.3 for using apache as proxy to irj

We need to know the settings for using apache as a reverse proxy server in front of irj portal on SAP Netweaver 7.3. We have tried the following settings in httpd.conf but we cannot see the contents on irj portal in the html page on the browser while using apache as reverse proxy.

I am trying to reverse proxy SAP 7.3 using Apache 2.0.6.4 as the webserver. It was working fine with SAP 7.01. But with 7.3, i am facing GUI problems, the URL says i have been logged in, but the GUI is not being displayed....
"The requested URL /com.sap.portal.pagebuilder/html/EmptyDocument.html was not found on this server."
^^ is the error message that i am getting.

SAP system requirements to make it available via ITS

We are using SAP R/3 4.6C with kernel 4.6D patch 2225.
DB is ORACLE release 9.2.0.6.0 and OS is HP-UX B.11.00
The package levels are as follows.
SAP_BASIS SAPKB46C46
SAP_ABA   SAPKA46C46
SAP_APPL SAPKH46C46
Now we are thinking of making our system available via ITS.
We have a seperate ITS instance :
     Windows 2003 Server
     IIS 6.0
     Java (JRE 1.5)
     SAP ITS 6.20 Patch level 20
Could you please let me know some relevant notes/links or some useful documents to check whether our SAP system meets the requirements for ITS?
Basically I am looking for the minimum requirements in SAP R/3 side before going for ITS 620

Yes, ITS 6.20 is the most current release -and I am almost sure that this release will be at least one of the last releases of standalone-ITS.
Plug-In should fit to your portal on the one hand and your backend on the other hand. The plug-in you mentioned here sounds good ...

Data exchange between SAP SCM and an external java tool via JCo

the situation i am in is the following:
We are developping a java application for production planning using multi-agent systems. What I am currently working on is an integration concept towards SAP via JCo. I am using a SAP SCM System.
What i got is the following:
I got the JCo connection to SCM and I am able to execute BAPIs from Java.
Now my problem is the following:
We want to recognize a change in the SCM System, e.g. when someone added a new manufacturing order. What do I have to do for that?
Do I have to register a JCO.Server as a RFC Destination?
Do I have to use SCM EventManagement to handle the corresponding events?
In Java terms, what I want is a EventListener for some events - but neither do I know how the events are created nor how they are transferred to third party systems...
Anyone with a hint?

Hi Jan,
architecturally you will need to determine a point in the SCM application logic to understand that a relevant event has occurred and then issue a notification "message" - in your case it sounds like your system is directly coupled so it wouldn't exactly be a message but an RFC call instead.
On SCM itself all you need is the RFC-enabled function module interface (an ABAP development), a logical destination and a hook somewhere in the application logic to make the RFC call.
From a JCo perspective you then just have to implement an "RFC server" that responds to these RFC calls.
Most difficult part will be to find a suitable hook in the SCM application logic that doesn't modify any delivered SAP code but uses an enhancement technique like a BADI.
Anything you can share about your planned development? Is this specifically for a customer or are you planning on releasing a product?

in our receiver system we get follow error:
PROTOCOL.MSGID_EXISTING_INBOUND: Message already exists in called system
The message is in status: message already processed.
But sure we sent the message only once and the message aren't processed.
The receiver system is a R/3 with a WAS 6.20 (Plug - In APPINT 200_620 PL 005).
We trigger the message from our SAP XI 3.0 to R/3 via proxy.
The proxy is follow configured:
Transport Protocol: HTTP 1.0
Message Protocol: XI 2.0
Adapter Ingine: Integration Server
Addressing Typ: HTTP Destination
http Destination: D43CLNT002_HTTP

In smq2 and sm58 aren't entries.
The message are arrived the target system. But unfortunately with status:

SAP R/3 HR USer Personalization

Hi,
We have implemented the SAP EP 6.0 SP2. We are using a few standard SAP IACs like training center, trainings attended, Whos who and the rest of them are all
custom developed BSPs.
THe portal is connected to the production SAP HR R/3 server in the backend, and is live at the moment.
Our client has a corporate policy for the R/3 passowrd initialization after every 30 days as per their security audit policy, but this is causing problems to our EP users as once every 30 days the EP starts
prompting them the WAS 6.20 Authentication interface screen asking for their R/3 user id and password, as the start up screen of our EP on log on is a custom built BSP which shows the employees' personal information. The employee doesnt get any information that his passowrd
has expired, but goes on trying to enter the R/3 passowrd and user id many times and the system eventually locks the R/3 user id.
The password expiry policy cannot be changed as this applied to all R/3 user country wide. The other glitch is that only about 10% of the ESS users are actual R/3 WIN GUI users, so we're faced with a grave problem
of not having a SAP standard interface that can be provided to the users automatically whenever they log on to the portal and their R/3password should be prompted for change as and when it expires.
The portal userid and SAP R/3 Userid are not same. The Portal userid is PXXXXXX and sap userid is HRXXXXXX.
Is there any SAP Standard functionality that can be provided via EP
interface to the users to ease their issues.

There is no SAP standard functionality that can be used as far as I know. You can use SAP standard provided functions to check password expiration date and to change password's via a custom implementation. We had the same issue with one of our customers where we had to synchronize password's between LDAP and R/3. Harald

Error in Java deployment step of SAP Netweaver installation

Hi Team,
We are installing SAP Netweaver 7.4 SR2.
We are using How to install SAP NetWeaver Application Server Java guide.
We have completed all steps upto step 27 without much hiccups, but during Java deploy stage, we are getting errors related to port 50004.
We have restarted the machine and continued the installation .but are still getting the error.
We have checked the heap size -- Its value is 1024mb.
Do not know what is wrong with this.
We have assigned 4 GB Ram and Paging is also set as per requirement. Previously we had used 3.5 GB RAM

Nice to hear from you again. It looks like P4 connection is affected:
1)
Review note 1158626 and adjust the P4 port configuration accordingly. You will need to check whether the P4 port is available. Note 1925352 will help you to check this (you can use the sapcontrol command or others mentioned to check whether host: 172.16.35.110 and port: 50004 is available or not).
2)
Make sure that there are no invalid profile files. Kindly move the profile files that are old to some other location.
3)
Also, please verify that you don't have any non-deterministic names in the etc/hosts file, per SAP note:
1134222 - Cannot access AS Java via P4 connection

Proxy Activation - ECC 6.0 to SAP PI system

Our envirnonment -
1) SAP ECC 6.0 ( R/3 system)
2) SAP PI ( R/3 system)
To establish communicate between SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP PI ( R/3 system using proxies )-
we have setup following steps on ECC 6.0 system-
1) Created a HTTP connection in the business system of type H.
Please let me know what is the path prefix we need to set.
2) Configuration Business system as local Integration Engine.
3) Connection between Business System and System Landscape Directory
Create RFC destination (TCP/IP) LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI for the SLD connection.
I have developed a sample interface to send data from SAP ECC --->PI --> File system ( Proxy to file interface)
When i run the report to call the proxy it is pushing the data on the integration engine of the ECC system.
How can i debug what is the problem is ? why the data is not getting pushed on PI system using proxy ?
How can i debug this ? Please let me know if i am missing any thing in proxy activation between ECC to PI system.

I am able to create a interface proxy to File
SAP ECC R/3 system --- > SAP PI ---> File system
I have created a proxy on ECC R/3 system using SPROXY. when i trigger the proxy using a abap report the data is not getting pushed on to SAP PI system .
When i do a SXMB_MONI on ECC system it should call the integration server as out bound ... It is throwing a error message as mentioned below.
