XL Reporter - Show Blank Rows
I've built a sample P&L report using XL Reporter, where I have each row selected to display the details of one or more G/L accounts. The problem I'm having is that some of these do not have any journal entries during the selected period, so they don't even show up in the generated report. While I appreciate that this feature exists, I want to turn it off so that zeroes are returned if there aren't any journal entries for the period. How do I make it so that all rows are always returned?
I'm using SAP B1 2007A PL30.
I figured out that it was a row by row setting. It'll take a while to apply it to all the rows, but it's just a simple checkbox that I didn't see before.

The FEP DashBoard shows the data that is active in SCCM, the historical data and more in depoth reports are genrated from another database the FEP Datawarehouse, There are SQL Agent tasks that synchrinise this data and normally this error is caused by a

Sales Analysis Report - Monthly report shows blank output
Hi,
When i run the Sales Analysis Report - Customer (Annual) report for a data set it shows the correct data - large number of invoices
However, there is no output available (blank output) when i use the the Monthly version of the same report using the same parameters. Even when i am taking the widest possible range of data sets ( large date range; no properties; All customers) i am not getting any output. I am using Individual display.
Please help out.

In sales analysis report have u given posting date for a particular month if not give and select client /customer in group and run the report u will get exactly if not then u do have any postings for a particular month and definr due date that means posting period also

Just migrated from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 SP1 CU3. All seems to be working fairly well but when I run certain reports (especially in the EndPoint Protection) I get blank reports with a box where possibly a graphic should be shown. No error given. An
example would be the report named "Antimalware overall status and history". It just shows several boxes with perhaps a small picture icon in the top left of the box. This occurs on several different reports. But I do
have results with other reports. Any ideas?

3. Now generate the same report in pdf.
4. Go to the first report again (html report) and try to go to the next page

Remove blank rows in Report painter

When running a report in GR55, I show ten blank rows on top of the report and I would like to get rid of them to save space. I have not found yet a way to do this in GRR2.Hi,

Education and Training Report produce a blank row
Hi Experts,
I run Education and Training Report to get a list of employees education. It shows a list of education report but there's a blank row for some employees and others are not. For employees who didn't have education data, it gives a blank row for that employee. I've checked the table and there's not a blank record for each employee. Anyone knows about this probelem?

Intermittent Blank Rows coming in BI Publisher Report output
Hi,
We are working on a BI Publisher report output.
Issue
The report sometimes creates a blank row along with the headings of the report columns. Table has multiple records and between 2 records we have a data being displayed which is optional. When this record is null, it is creating an extra space and hence creating a new page with the headers and a blank row.
Reducing the space is one issue we have thought of. Are there any other pointers to this.

I did not got the complete thing but as you told you need to remove the blank space in the report and at the same you told when a column returns null the row get displayed as blank row.
Then can you try using the Conditional region so that when ever you find the column value as null so you can hide that row.
Just try it i donot no if your requirement is exactly like this or what.

Report Region show all rows?
Hi,
I have a report region in which I want to show all rows. Setting the pagination scheme to No Pagination doesn't
seem to do the trick. I have set Number of Rows and Maximum Row Count both to NULL. Nothing seems to work.
Is there some trick to get all rows to be displayed?

I have two report regions on different pages. On both I have set 'Number of Rows' and 'Maximum Row Count' to null. One report will return all the records in a query (~800), the other report will only return 500. I can't see any other differences in the reports that would cause this behaviour.
I didn't really want to restrict my reports to a set number of rows, is this really the only option?

NEXT button on report portlet shows 10 rows-maximum rows per page=9999
I created a report with the DB Provider portlet. I set the maximum rows per page to 9999 when displayed as a portlet and as a full page. I put the portlet on a page and it only shows 10 rows and then the next button.
If there are exactly 10 rows I get the next button. If I click it the next page loads with no data. If there are less than 10 rows there is no button.
If I create a new portlet it does not do this. I'm only having the problem with one portlet now but I've seen it in the past. I usually just build the portlet again but I would like to know how to fix it.
I can't customize the portlet because of bug #3467032.Select customize and set the number of rows to 9999. I'm guessing that it's currently set to 10.

How can print blank rows for XML output report..

I am working in XML output PO fix format report and in that report there is 3 sections. (1) Header section(2)Line section (3) Footer section. My requirement is like this, header and footer section print in all pages and line section break for next page after printing fix 15 lines in a page. And if any page has less then 15 lines then it generate remaining blank row to maintain footer position.
Please suggest me, how can i generate blank rows and break lines for page if there is more then 15 rows in Line section.

In my bex report one of the KF Column having zero's and Blank values .

when i create a condition Price > 0
Then the given Out put is

The user don't want see materials Price1 which is Zero . So I should remove materials A and F in Price1 column .

Excel export contains a blank row for the Report Header

I am getting a blank row as the first row in my SSRS report when exported to excel. I have already taken care of following things,
1. I have hidden all of the Page Header items using Globals
2. The position of Report Body Tablix is 0, that means there is no space between report header and Report Body.
I have developed this Report in SSRS 2012, please let me know if any more details are required. I think even after hiding Header Items, excel creates a placeholder for page header. I can't remove header from my reports as it is needed to be published in
pdf.

According to your description, you are getting a blank row as the first row in your excel report when you export the report to excel, you have hidden all the items in the Page Header by using the Globals, right?
This blank row is for the page header, although you have hidden all the items in it, but it will still display when export report to excel. Because we can’t hidden the page Header directly. Normally, we can hidden all the items in the page Header, So in
the design phase we can also see the blank area above the report body when preview.
We have an alternative way by add the “SimplePageHeaders” setting in “RSReportserver.config” file, after configuration the page Header will not display in the first row of the worksheet but is rendered to the Excel page header. In Reporting Services, the
“SimplePageHeaders” default value is “FALSE” and it indicates that the page header is rendered to the first row of the worksheet. In order to display the page header in the Header/Footer section of Excel, we need to set the “SimplePageHeaders” setting value
to “TRUE”. I did a test on my local machine and here are my steps:
Navigate to RSReportserver.config file: <drive:> Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer\RSReportserver.config.
Backup the RSReportserver.config file before modify it, open the RSReportserver.config file with Notepad format.
Set the Excel rendering extension code like this:

When I access to Report Manager and export the report(includes a page header) to Excel format, the blank row will disappear now.
