I did overcome that problem by removing divide from my sql package.
The report runs well now for small set of data but when I try to run it for larger volume of data it runs for like 15 mins and then the page expires saying "The page cannot be displayed" with following message in log file:

    I think that it is something wrong with kernel and graphic drivers but i'm not able to solve it from the beginning of using of Arch by me.
    I'm not so sure this issue is software-related only because in my case it seems the laptop screen enters power-saving mode (10-min timeout) on its own without any events logged (as shown by dmesg) so my next thought was OK, I'm going to get rid of this issue disabling the screen power-saving timeout in the BIOS and set it to never power down or something like that and from then on managing power mode manually; ie: when I want to power down I will just use systemctl suspend/hibernate which work fine ... problem is: there are no related options in my BIOS for such timeout.
    The only timeouts I have are in /etc/systemd/logind.conf set to 30min (#IdleActionSec) (commented) by default so these are not in effect because the screens goes blank after 10m which is less than the (default) 30m in logind. Maybe setting loggind to 9m (un-commented) to catch the event before the machine-default one ?
    IdleActionSec=9min
    IdleAction=suspend
    Will check it and report back.

  • LDAP (OID) integration with java appilcation( Urgent imp.)

    Currently we are using the OID-LDAP as the repository for storing username, passwds
    and other attributes. All applications that need authentication will essentially
    be using the OID.
    In our effort to do the same we are encountering the following problems
    - Creation of an identity corresponding the application
    - Giving this identity certain LDAP authorizations (Which authorizations are these)
    We have been successful creating LDAP entries for users and getting the initial
    JNDI contexts to do the lookups.
    When we are creating the user lookup from java code using oracle.ldap.util.User pakage ,
    at the run time it's throwing error(no classfound oracle/net/config/ConfigException ).
    why and where this is needed and how to resolve that. is that because we haven't added
    the application in oid and configured authorizations for it.
    Need an urgent answer to this since all applications will be using LDAP(OID).
    here is code of java which tries to connect to OID.

    Your problem sounds like many RMI problems answered in this forum in the past, especially if the java client is not on the same container as the bpel engine.
    Usually solved with setting some environment properties like dedicated.rmicontext=true etc.

    This is the most frequently asked question from Oracle developers.. Never mind putting some light on this error, I want to put it alight! ;-)
    First thing. It is not The Error. It is a sympton of an error.
    This message does not come from the database. It comes from the client OCI (of JDBC) drivers - which suddenly discovered that the Oracle connection (usually a TCP socket connection) has been torn down at the server side. It attempts to write to that socket, only to find that the other party has hung up.
    Why has the other party hung up? That party is either a Dedicated Server Process or a Dispatcher Process. If a dedicated server dies (crashes), it will take its socket handles with it to The Great Recycle Bin In The Sky. If you was serviced by a shared server and it died, the Dispatcher (who handles the TCP comms for it), will automatically close that shared server's connection.
    Usually when a process dies on the Oracle server, it leaves behind an error in the alert log, and trace files. That is where you will find the inklings of what The Error was that caused your client to get the EOF on comms channel message.

  • Problems with async callback with the BPEL Java API (Urgent- pls help)

    Hi,
    I have an async BPEL process and I invoke it form a JSP page using BPEL java API.
    I have followed the tutorials and docs at:
    $SOA_HOME/bpel\samples\tutorials\102.InvokingProcesses\rmi\com\otn\samples\async
    I can inititiate successfully the process, but when I try to get the result using getResult() or getField(String fieldName) methods I get the error:

    Hi again,
    i managed to solve the problem:) Totally stupid.. the process variable name was not specified correctly..., but more stupid sounds the error message:))))

  • Running a batch file in Java. Urgent!!

    I want to run a batch file present at a particular location in Java.Although I am running two codes suggested by many people, i am still not able to run the batch file. My codes run as below :-
    CODE 1
    Process P;
    Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
    P = rt.exec("C:\\test.bat");
    CODE 2
    Process P;
    Runtime rt = Runtime.getRuntime();
    P = rt.exec("C:\\WINNT\\System32\\cmd.exe C:\\test.bat");
    I have tried both these codes but without success. But I have observed that in the Task Manager, whenever i run the above codes in a servlet, a "CMD.EXE" is being created in the "Processes" Bar each time but the batch file neither opens up nor it runs.
    Please suggest me some method to run this batch file in Java.
    Or if u can suggest the reason behind the above observation and any corrections i can make to run the batch file. Thanks in advance.

  • Smart Card and  Java Card (URGENT)

    Dear everyone.
    I have purchased a card reader (which is supposed to be java card compatible).
    I have 2 problems.
    1. I just wonder if i can use a Smart Card generally available. Do i need to have a special card for Java Card??
    2. Can i use card kit to interface to the reader/writer? How do i install my applets??
    Please reply soon.
    Thank you very much.

    I tried to execute the OCF samples.
    this code
    OpenCard.services = com.ibm.opencard.factory.MFCCardServiceFactory
    did not give any trouble
    this code
    OpenCard.terminals = com.ibm.opencard.terminal.pcsc10.Pcsc10CardTerminalFactory
    gave some troubles. May be because iam not using ibm terminal(card).
    And also, i think the OCF samples will not work anyhow, because the Reflex reader is not OCF complaint.
    So the following may not work
    OpenCard.services = com.slb.opencard.Cyberflex
    I have most imp. questions to ask you now.
    1. What card should i purchase and from whom (along with some software if necessary)?
    2. What is the procedure for reading/writing to that card using the Reflex reader.
    Please help.
    Thanks
    Goldy.

  • Need java help urgent plzzz

    Ive never visited a Java forum other than this one and its been over 2 years now. Out of curiosity I just went to JavaRanch.
    Ive seen a lot of heated flaming from both sides (on these forums)
    but i figured id take a look today.
    The FIRST post i look at someone asks what the purpose of an
    interface is and one of the responses he gets is:
    "Please revise your display name to meet the JavaRanch Naming Policy. To maintain the friendly atmosphere here at the ranch, we like folks to use real (or at least real-looking) names, with a first and a last name.
    You can edit your display name here. Thank you for your prompt attention!"
    i wish i could go to 33 pt font: WTF IS THAT?
    WEIRD!
    Thats just way to creepy for me and im out... as if the brown and the
    meesen (brian regan joke) everywhere werent enough.
    Anyone know any other good ones?

    JavaRanch scares me as well. Yea i think the ranch is making an army of cattle.
    Ill check out devshed.

  • Crystal Reports server XI release 2 java Integration - Urgent

    Post Author: premnathk.chn
    CA Forum: JAVA
    Hi,
      I am trying to evaluvate Crystal Reports server XI release 2 and i face problems in integrating it with java. can sombody help me out?
    Also when i try to open a report using INFOVIEW i get a cannot open connection error.
    thank & regards,
    Prem

    What problems exactly are you running into?  Are you getting errors?  Also - the infoview error is most likely that the report can't connect to the database - or that the account that the Page or RAS server is running under can't see the database server.  Try running the page server and RAS server under a user account that has domain privileges

  • Java bean - urgent help

    Hi,
    I am creating a java bean in a jsp file. I want to pass this bean to a java class in the same jsp file.
    eg:
    A1.jsp
    <jsp:useBean id="customer" class="com.Customer" scope="session"/>
    <jsp:setProperty name="customer" property="*"/>
    <% Teller teller=new Teller();
    int custid=teller.addCustomer("customer");
    %>
    Teller.java
    public class Teller
    public int addCustomer(*C*ustomer pcus)
              CustomerDb Cdb=new CustomerDb();
              return Cdb.addCustomer(pcus);
    CustomerDb.java
    public class CustomerDb{
    int customerid;
    public int addCustomer(*C*ustomer pcus){
         try{
    some code....
    When I try to compile Teller.java and CustomerDb.java it is giving error in the lines highlighted with bold.
    Please help in this.

    Problem Description
    You are getting
    FRM-40735: WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-105100.
    When you run FileUpload utility
    Solution Description
    Follow the steps given below to fix and run the FileUpload Bean successfully.
    Make sure you have set your System Path similar to following, in the same order:
    System PATH:
    E:\Dev6i\bin;E:\Dev6i\forms60\java;E:\jdk1.2.2\bin;E:\jdk1.2.2\jre\bin;
    E:\jdk1.2.2\jre\bin\classic; %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;
    %SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\Oracle\JInitiator1.1.8.16\bin;.
    CLASSPATH :
    E:\dev6i\forms60\java;E:\dev6i\forms60\java\UploadServer.jar;
    E:\jdk1.2.2\jre\bin\classic;E:\jdk1.2.2\jre\lib;E:\Dev6i\TOOLS\COMMON60\JAVA\IMPORTER.JAR;.
    Now, Open Form Builder ->Layout Editor->Program menu->Import Java Classes
    Check here to make sure that the FileUpload.class is displayed there under
    Oracle/forms/demos/uploadclient folder.
    Note that the java bean uses the implementation class
    file oracle.forms.demos.uploadclient.FileUploader
    So, you need to put the FileUploader.class in
    <ORACLE_HOME>\FORMS60\java\oracle\forms\demos\uploadclient\FileUploader.class
    or you need to change the oracle.forms.demos.uploadclient.FileUploader
    in implementation Class property matching to
    the class name where you have actually put it.
    You need to set archive_jini=f60all_jinit.jar,uploadclient.jar.sig in formsweb.cfg
    Open the fileupload.fmb, remove the attached Library.
    Open the fileupload.pll from File->Open.
    Recompile all the procedure and packages again.
    Save this fileupload.pll.
    Then reattach this library as a attached library to this form, recompile the form.
    This should solve the problem.
    If the path is set as explained above solves the PDEUI0001 problem of
    Java Importer also.
    Explanation
    Reason:
    This error occurs when the upload button is pressed in the File upload utility
    because the attached PLL library is not compiled properly.
    Please let me know if this helps.

  • Embedding Java Code(URGENT)

    Hello,
    I'm trying to do the following, I'm trying to embed Java code into my BPEL process, I have read the tutorial that explains how to embed a java code into BPEL(http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/bpel/pdf/orabpel-Training-Segment10.pdf) but unfortunately the tutorial discusses only how to call the Entity Bean but doesnt mention where in folders(directory) should the bean itself be placed, where are the imports.
    I'm going to start with a simple example, a class called Multiplier that has function square, Here is the code for the class:
    //Java Multiplier class
    public class Multiplier{
    public Multiplier(){}
    public int square(int x){
    return x*x; }
    this is code that will be placed in the EXEC(Java code snippet):
    //Java Code Snippet goes here...
    try{
    Object input= getVariableData
    ("input","payload","/JavaCode");
    String parser= input.toString();
    int in= Integer.parseInt(parser);
    Multiplier obj1= new Multiplier();
    int result= obj1.square(in);
    addAuditTrailEntry("The square of the input is:"+result);
    catch(Exception en){
    addAuditTrailEntry(en);
    Where should the multiplier class be located(in which folder in the ecplise)or how will the BPEL refer to it ?
    Shouldnt I import the Multiplier class in the EXEC(snippet) where should that line go?
    Thanks in advance
    Hussam Galal

    After going through the Forum I saw I question similar to mine, and I found out there's an example similar to what I am trying to do at C:\orabpel\samples\references\JavaExec
    I tried to make an example almost exactly like JavaExec and I edited my build.xml to be similar to build.xml of the example but I keep getting this error:
