XSLT Mapping changes Required

Hello Experts,
I got one change requirment, where the name filed in the idoc contains special character (like semi colon) in between the name, I want to put double quotation for that special character at XSLT mapping.
Eg:
Input Name:   Ravi ; Kumar
Out put would be: Ravi ";" Kumar
Please help me out with the required mapping changes in XSLT.
Thanks in Advace.

Hi,
use xpath function translate() and escape the semicolon and the quotes.
<output><xsl:value-of select="translate(//Name,%3B,%25%3B%25)"/></output>
If that escapes do not work google for escape sequences.

• XSLT Mapping :-- End to End Scenario

Can any one provide XSLT Mapping End to End scenario with screen shots?

HI
XSLT Mapping
XSLT stands for EXtensible Stylesheet Language Transformations. It is an XML based language for transforming XML documents into any other formats suitable for browser to display, on the basis of set of well-defined rules.
Using XSLT mapping in a ccBPM scenario
File to Multiple IDocs (XSLT Mapping)
Steps required for developing XSLT Mapping
u2022 Create a source data type and a target data type
u2022 Create Message types for the source and target data types.
u2022 Create Message Interfaces includes Inbound Message interface and Outbound Message interface.
u2022 XSLT Mapping does not require creation of Message mapping, so donu2019t create any Message mapping.
u2022 Create an .XSL file which converts source data type into target data type.
u2022 Zip that .xsl file and import it into Integration Repository under Imported Archives.
u2022 In Interface Mapping choose mapping program as XSL and specify this zip program. (Through search help you will get XSL Mapping programs that you imported under Imported Archives, select your corresponding XSL Program)
u2022 Test this mapping program by navigating to Test tab.
By having look at above steps you can easily find out that this mapping is no where different from other mapping programs, here the challenging lies in creating an XSLT file. If you spend couple of minutes in studying XPATH tutorial you would be in ideal position to create an XSL Transformation (.xsl extension).
If you still find difficulties in generating XSL Transformation, then you can make use of a tool u201CAltova MapForceu201D which will create XSL file for you.
Steps for creating XSL file using this tool:
1. Open the Alto MapForce, import the source .xml and .xsd file in it
2. Similarly import the target .xml and .xsd in MapForce.
3. These two data files should match with source and target data types in Integration Repository.
4. Complete the graphical mapping using extensive list of XSLT functions available there.
5. Save the mapping file.
6. Click the XSLT tab. You will have the entire xslt logic there.
7. Copy that content and save it as .xsl file.
8. Zip above .xsl file and import the same into IR under Imported Archives.

• Help Required for XSLT mapping

Hi Folks,
I am working on a scenario, where we had 17 different one to one mapping with same source strcture but different target structures. Source is a Idoc common for everyone.
Sample Target Structure :
Message Type(XYZ)
RECORDS(0,u)
A(0,1)
B(0,1)
C(0,1)
D(0,1)
As per our requirement we need the output in which we need to have "GLOBE " at the top and the value of A, B, C and D on single row for each ouurance of RECORD. For 2nd occurance we need to change the line and 2 nd set of ABCD on 2nd row and so on. e.g.
GLOBE
0002044452KNA1 0000027079 0001E
0002044452KNA1 0000027080 0001E
0002044452KNA1 0000027080 0001E
To acheive the above output we are using a XSLT map after Message Mapping
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:output method="text" indent="no" encoding="UTF-8" omit-xml-declaration="yes"/>
<xsl:preserve-space elements="*"/>
<xsl:template match="/">GLOBE<xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
<xsl:for-each select="//RECORDS">
<xsl:for-each select="*">
<xsl:value-of select="current()"/>
</xsl:for-each><xsl:text>
</xsl:text></xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
NOW WE HAVE changed the 17 one to one maps to one multi mapping (1:17) as our source is same.
Now as the output of this multi mapping is getting into XSL code, it is not able to parse it.
How can we do the changes in this particular code So that we can Achieve: 17 different file out of single multi mapping and XSL map like it was comming previously from 17 different maps.
Thanks
Pradeep

Hi Pradeep,
Depending on how you setup your multi mapping, when you execute you will end up with something like this as the xml output:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
<ns0:Message1>
<XYZ></XYZ>
<XYZ></XYZ>
</ns0:Message1>
</ns0:Messages>
Or this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
<ns0:Message1>
<XYZ></XYZ>
</ns0:Message1>
<ns0:Message2>
<XYZ></XYZ>
</ns0:Message2>
</ns0:Messages>
The single xml message with the u201CMessagesu201D wrapper is not split into separate messages until it hits one of the adapters in the adapter engine. Perhaps you can try to adjust the xslt to expect this as input, but the output would still need to be <ns0:Messages>. That might be what is causing the failure with your current xslt. Can the flat file conversion in the file adapter?
Thanks,
-Russ

• File to RFC - XSLT Mapping after RFC structure has changed

Hi
I'm an XI beginner, and am looking at a File to RFC scenario which has been implemented in our 7.0 system.
We have a requirement to add a new field to the RFC (which has already been done by the ABAPer) and I need to make the necessary changes in XI. So I have re-imported the RFC and added a field in Data Type (we had file content conversion and we have manually defined the Data Types).
For mapping - is there a way to utilise the existing XSLT mapping without having to re-do the entire mapping in Stylus Studio? Is there an easy way to just add one additional field in Stylus Studio? or do I have to edit the xsl manually?
Thanks
Manoj

Manoj,
Let me explain you....
1.Take the old XSL file into anote pad
2.now import your newly modified source and target XSD and import into SS
3.Perform the xslt mapping for the newly added source and target field
4.generate the XSL for this mapping
5.Now take the lines which mapped (Do not take all the lines in the generated XSL) and copy these few lines mapped
6.Now go to the old XSL in the notepad and add the lines copied from the new XSL
Now try to paste the entire XSL in SS then you would be able to see all the fields mapped in SS IF yes then you are done with XSLT mapping.

Naveen.

• XSLT mapping requirement.. Only numbers need to be picked..!!

Hi ,
XSLT mapping requirement.
I will be getting the value as mix of numbers and alphabets like " 1343: -BIZ USA ".
I need to pick only number '1343' from the input field.
Is there any function in XSLT to pick only numbers and ignore alphabets?
Thanks
Deepthi

Hi There,
The below piece of code could cater your requirement, for flltering the non digit chars from your field,
<xsl:value-of select="translate(<your field name>, translate(<your field name>, '0123456789', ''), '')"/>
This would separate the non numeric chars from your field in mapping.
Let me know this works.

• Change Filename using XSLT mapping without variable subtitution

Hi,
My scenario is IDOC to file...i am using XSLT mapping, i want to change the filename format to OUT_<Purchase Number>_<DDMMYYYYhhmmss>_KKKK.txt, i cannot use UDF function as i do XSLT mapping i also i cannot use variable substitution as the target structure doesn't have PO and timestamp as tag elements. Can i acheive using writing a adapter module? I appreciate if anyone could help me with this..

Hi,
in both cases you need to enable file adapter specific properties and enable the file name...
for this you need to use the dynamic configuration properties for the same...
usage of this option using udf in message mapping is rather easy than to use in XSLT...for this you dont need to change the structure in the message mapping...message mapping is just needed for execution of the udf.. thats it..

• XSLT mapping to change the DOCREL field value.

Dear All,
There is an IDOC to IDOC scenario where both the inbound IDOC and the outbound IDOC is the same. There is no change in any values of any field except the DOCREL field. The version number should change from 6.02 to 7.3.
I need to write a XSLT mapping program to meet the criteria. As I am new to XSLT mapping, any suggestion is welcome.
Thanks and Regards,
Rana Brata De

Hi,
Try putting the desired DOCREL value in the "Seg. release in IDoc type" field in the partner profile of the sender system. This should help you avoid the costly XSLT preparation and the transformation being executed for each message.
Hope this helps,
Greg

• XSLT Mapping error

Hi All
I am working on PI 7.1 where I have customized standard XSLT mapping according to my requirement.
I have to add 2 fields in the standard data type ReplenishmentOrder_Notfication from SNC 7.0 SWCV.
In standard scenario once IDOC STPPOD.DELVRY03 is released from ECC the PI scenario send this to SNC Proxy ReplenishmentOrderNotification_In.
In my requirement I have to send XML file generated from IDOC to one of Application Folder. I have customized data type, message type, operation mapping, service interface by coping standard things.
So the changes I have done in standard XSLT mapping are just changin name of data type and not added any mapping for the two new fields I have added to the data type as its not require at the moment.
When I am running test I am getting follwoing error in Trace. Here please notice that its mentioning standard xslt mapping program name only though on the top you see customized names.

• XSLT Mapping Related

Hello Experts,
In a scenario we are sending Purchase orders and Purhase Order change from SAP to SNC through XI.
Currently we are using Orders03 message type for IDOC.
The requirement is to use Orders05 message type for IDOC.
What changes would be necessary if we are to use Orders05 instead of Orders03
- On SAP side,
- in the XSLT mapping, and
- On XI side.
Thanks in advance,
Suraj

Hi,
What changes would be necessary if we are to use Orders05 instead of Orders03
- On SAP side,
==> you need to check your distribution model (BD64) and partner profiles (WE20) and adjust the settings there according to ORDERS05.
- in the XSLT mapping, and
==> This depends on what your XSLT looks like. If there are any ORDERS03 specific statements, etc. or the structure is "heavily" changed from ORDERS03 to ORDERS05 you need to adjust the XSLT accordingly.
- On XI side.
==> You need to import the ORDERS05 IDoc Metadata to XI Abap stack (IDX2). Also in IR you need to import the new IDoc, create message type and assign it to your mapping.

• XSLT mapping code to replace ns1: tag as plm: in XML file in PI mapping

Hi
I am sending XML file to HTTP server as below format
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <ns1:Responses xmlns:ns1="http://">
-    <ns1:Response Application="SAP">
<ns1:field1>12345</ns1:field1>
<ns1:field2>abc</ns1:field2>
- <ns1:Items>
<ns1:doc></ns1:doc>
</ns1:Items>
</ns1:Response>
</ns1:Responses>
i hve to replace <ns1: as <plm:, i could able to delete <ns1: tag uisng XSLT mapping(in sdn), but i dont know how to add tag with <plm:
Hi XSLT experts/if any has come across this requirment, please send XSLT code to add tag in XML.
Regards,
Rajesh

No need for XSLT, just use the XMLAnonymizerBean module in your receiver communication channel.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/45/d169186a29570ae10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm
/people/stefan.grube/blog/2007/02/02/remove-namespace-prefix-or-change-xml-encoding-with-the-xmlanonymizerbean
If your receiver CC cannot process modules (ABAP receiver, for example), in your XSLT just define the target namespace with the desired prefix.

Henrique.

• Use of Orders05 Interface mapping & XSLT mapping file for Orders03 IDOC

Hello Experts,
In a scenario we are sending Purchase orders and Purhase Order change from SAP to SNC through XI.
Currently Orders03 IDoc is used and standard mapping for Orders03 XSLT is used.
Now the requirement is to use the same IDOC (Orders03) but
- XSLT mapping (OrdersOrders05_ReplenishmentOrderNotification) and
- Interface Mapping (OrdersOrders05_ReplenishmentOrderNotification_01) of Orders05.
What changes would be necessary
- On SAP side,
- in the XSLT mapping, and
- On XI side.
Thanks in advance,
Suraj

Hi Suraj,
First compare ORDERS03 IDOC and ORDERS05 IDoc structures,if both structures are same then u no ned to chnage the XSL it will work fine.
If any chnages in ORDERS05 Idoc then u have to adjust XSLT as per ORDERS05 IDOC.
test interface mapping first and let me know if any error.
Regards,
Raj
