Alternative to Report RCF_CREATE_USER

Hi Friends
  I am currently working to get the E-recruiting system up. Currently, I am using the report RCF_CREATE_USER to create the User Id and candidate. But in the documentation of the report, it is said as follows:
  'Note that this report should be used for exceptions only. As a rule, external candidates register using the appropriate Web scenario of the application, and employees are imported from an HR system using the master data interface (ALE)'.
  Can anybody please suggest a detailed procedure. Thanks in advance.

i am not sure if this is still a valid issue but in general first thing to know is the landscape you plan e-recruiting to be installed. furthermore the release installed for e-recruiting and the hr core system is important.
if you install e-recruiting on the same system the hr core (admin, org. mgmt, payroll) is running, the integration depends on the e-recruiting release. for e-recruiting 300 the integration is asynchrous. You have to run the SYNC_PERSON report mentioned above periodically to make internal candidates from all employees and keep their data up to date. If you install e-recruiting 600 there is a synchronous integration. Setting up this integration is one of the most difficult task in the technical steps of an e-recruiting implementation (the documentation is not really complete ;o(). If it is set up completely, every change in the hr master data is directly transfered to the e-recruiting. For the initial transfer there is report HRALXSYNC which has to be run once for all employees to create their internal candidates - but this report needs the full integration configuration.
if you install the e-recruiting on a separate system the creation of internal candidates is done by the ALE integration. The configuration depends in parts of the releases of e-recruiting and hr core system, esp. when it comes to the IDOC types. The standard configuration transferes parts of the organizational structure (O, S, C) and creates internal candidates from employee infotype 0000, 0001, 0002, 0006 and 0105 (Subtype 0001, 0010). While the transfer of the organizational entities is standard hr data distribution, the candidate creation is implemented in BAdIs an can be changed up to a certain point.
For the initial data transfer there is the transaction PFAL which is run from the HR Core System to create IDOCs for all Org. entities and Employees. After the initial transfer a periodical job has to run every day to process the hr change pointers.
Some configuration options are strongly recommented from my experience to avoid problems when booking the IDOCs into e-recruiting, like asynchronous import and no packaging. Furthermore everyone transfering IT0006 should have a look at a new note, released only some days ago, which is supposed to solve a problem with adress information update existing since e-recruiting 200.
For more detailed information please supply additional information of you landscape.

    If you are looking for a record of change, you can always just create a function that contains all your comments. You would just want to return it true, but you can have all your developers update that part when you fix the code.
    Not sure if that answered your question at all - if not, explain what you mean by documentation a little further.

  • Standard report for period end stock report

    My client is looking for a SAP standard report for material.Their req is as follows.
    Open Bal (Stock)
    Add: Purchase/Production
    Less: Sales/Consumption
    Closing Bal(Stock)
    I have sugegested them MC.9,MB51,etc....but they are not satified.
    They are not willing to go for a 'Z' report too....
    Can any one suggest me whether their is any function module or bapi or badi thro' which i can fullfill my clients req. or any other better alternative like report painter,set,etc which suit my requirement.
    (can you please let me know from table i can get these datas......just for knowledge purpose)

    Your not seeing the built in package for some reason.
    Maybe they are missing on your Linux machine.
    Reinstall reports there? Examing your environment variables?
    Is that rwrun.jar anywhere?

  • Supplier Statement Report

    Oracle Payables EBS R12.1.2
    is someone using the "Supplier Statement" (APTPSTMT) report in AP?
    We tried using it but it does not considers the Tax Deduction and shows the deducted amount as still an Outstanding. If someone kindly suggest any other alternative/substitute report which can give us the Supplier-wise Statement (with AP transactions and the final outstanding balance).

    Your assumption is correct. This PLD is hard coded so that nothing you could add except some texts.

    PDF generation on APEX applications is Facilitated in Interactive Reports in the Down load Option,
    When we Choose this pdf Down load Option,this is not Working.
    why this is not Working?
    But this Down load Facility in Interactive Reports is Working fine with Excel Format
    Do we need to Install & configure FOP/Cocoon or BI Publisher to Enable PDF Format DOWNLOAD

    To generate PDF file from APEX reports, you either have to install & configure Bi Publisher or FOP/Cocoon..

  • Multiple alternating row colours

    I need to flag each row with different colours depending on the values in the columns. I believe you can do it in the definition of an alternating row report template but it only has entries for 4 conditions. How can I colour rows with more that 4 different colours at once? I have up to 8 possible conditions therefore I need up to 8 different colours displayed at once.

    vs what you suggested.
    In other words, the Alternating Row Colors template colors the row background but preserves the "grid" lines. Your solution obliterates all other styles on the row.
    Dont get me wrong, your solution is brilliant, very creative.
    On a related note, the technique I came up with, wrapping the entire row in a DIV and styling that in the query, doesnt work because it generates HTML like
    open TD1
    open DIV
    close TD1
    open TD2
    close DIV
    close TD2
    This messes up the DIV since it spans the TD cells.
    If it were to generate
    open DIV
    open TD1
    close TD1
    open TD2
    close TD2
    close DIV
    then my solution would work as well.
    But I dont think there is a way to generate a outer-most DIV like that using a column template, right? I cant modify the report template since my DIVs are going to contain dynamic styles from my query itself.

    I am relatively less familiar with Cognos.
    What is the best way to migrate a bunch of Cognos Reports to Birt.
    I have the Cognos Report files and the query definition file from Cognos.
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    I am not aware of a tool that directly converts Cognos reports into BIRT reports.
    However, I am not overly familiar with Cognos reports.
    If there is an API or a system available with Cognos reports to programmatically read their contents, you could then use the BIRT Design Engine API (DEAPI) to programmatically build report designs based on what is read from the Cognos designs.
    Alternatively, each report can always be rebuilt individually using the BIRT Report designer as needed.

  • Web Sheets - how to delete a default report

    I have created a websheet data grid with a primary and a few other default reports. I cannot seem to be able to delete a report once created, any hints? checked the OBE and didn't see it, only how to create, not delete report.

    Thank you so much for the quick response. Here is the deal, I have a APEX application that is ready to be rolled out across John Fowlers Sun Systems division. It simply tracks source code deposite for all Systems releases to Oracle Manufacturing, this is a legal requirement.
    The tool is ready but I am having a very confusing time trying to get the reports to work and get published correctly. I really appreciate your help, I am sure I am just missing a couple items.
    So I have added you to the workspace as admin. The workspace is : ESCROW TRACKING APPLICATION
    What I am trying to do is delete report number 5. I cannot find the red x you are referring to, please provide exact navigation steps.
    I am also trying to add a section to the home page that has a table report. The home page will have two reports, the primary and then an alternative default report which is a table summary with some aggregates and colomn groupings.
    The issue is APEX allows me to add the section and the data report and it looks good, the problem is when other uses log in they see the section but it only has a search bar, the actual table does not get displayed.
    If easier I can schedule a 20 minute webconference to go over this.
    I am emailing you screen shots for all the items above
    really appreciate the help!!

  • E-recruiting: create internal user failture when using RCF_CREATE_USER

        When I create candidate and internal user in E-recuriting using report RCF_CREATE_USER, the system returns me a message: "I::000 Enter at least one number for the business partner" , and so i can't create the user successfully.
        Can anyone show me the solution?

  • Call 6i report from 6i report?

    Essentially, the output from 2 different 6i Reports need to be interlaced. A large batch of letters and associated reports each get sent to the printer alternating letter / report / letter / report / ... Each then gets a security cover page, thereby wasting a lot of paper and staff time pulling them out. This is from 2 different rdf/rep files.
    The letter can be done in a repeating frame so that it is one print job, but how can the report be called for each letter?
    run_report_object is not available in Reports
    Ideas?

    By the text it is not very clear what you actually want.
    But if you want to generate a report from already generate report/preview. Then there is button available in reports. by using that button you can generate another report from the already generated report its called "DRILL DOWN" reports. The code for this see in Reports Help by word SRW.RUN_REPORT.
    It is same like that you normally use through form RUN_PRODUCT. See the example in reports help.

  • E-Recruit   rcf_create_user     error messages

    program RCF_CREATE_USER produces unclear errors such as
    "A candidate already exists for the user".
    What kind of link should be between an external
      candidate  and a user ? 
    Good answer will be a link to qualitative documentation
      for this program.

    The data model of E-recruiment is quite complex.Well,SAP provides the report RCF_CREATE_USER to create an E-rec. user.
    If you try to assign same user name for more than one candidate(i.e. repeated assignment),then this error will be thrown.
    For each <b>external candidate(NA)</b>,SAP creates <b>User(US).</b>
