Asynch RFC Sender to File Receiver Szenario (table content)

Hi,
I have the following szenario: RFC(R/3) => XI => File
At the moment I implemented the following:
1. Z-Report in R/3 calls a function module:
     CALL FUNCTION 'Z_RFC_TO_XML'
        IN BACKGROUND TASK
        DESTINATION xi_dest
        EXPORTING
          it_table = it_table.
      COMMIT WORK.
2. The RFC Sender Adapter on XI takes the RFC data and convert it to RFC-XML
3. There is a message mapping from RFC-XML to XML-Structure
4. The File Receiver Adapter write the XML document to the file system
The scenario is working without error and the file is created. But on R/3 side the it_table is filled with 20 rows before the function module Z_RFC_TO_XML is called. But on xi side I only receive one row (the header line).
Is it possible to transmit the whole table content to xi and not only one row? And if yes, how can I do this?
Thanks,
manuku

Hi Tobias,
Currently am doing this scenarioa RFC to file
CALL FUNCTION 'Z_RFC_TO_XML'
>         IN BACKGROUND TASK
>         DESTINATION xi_dest
>         EXPORTING
            p_werks = 'Plant no'
           TABLES
>           it_table = it_table.
>       COMMIT WORK.
But here am using Exporting and Tables parameter.. When i debug this FM, the debugger is not going to the FM.
Can you help me in solving this issue....
Thanks and Regards,
Vijay vikram

  • Rfc sender - text file

I have a interface using rfc sender. When it's executed, a file is created.
When the format is a XML, the file is created, but, when I use "File Content Conversion" in "File Adatper" to convert the data in text format, the file is not created.
The structure of my RFC is:
    Y_SD_XI_EDI_NOTFIS  - RFC
      DATA             - Table
        TEXT            - Field
The configuration in "File Content Conversion" is:
Recordset Structure:       DATA,* (I already write this using "DATA")
    DATA.fileNames:            TEXT
    DATA.processConfiguration: fromConfiguration
    DATA.endSeparator:         'nl'
    What is the problem?

    Hi,
I changed the RFC. Now, there is only DATA table and a Import Parameter.
    I'm still with same problem.
I see that when I run the process don't using the  Content Conversion, all the logs in RWB is "Successful", but, when I run using "Content Conversion", one log was "Waiting" (aways were generated three logs).
The log detail for process using "Content Conversion" is equal to process that dont use "Content Conversion".
    The detail is:

  • SFTP sender to File receiver mapping of file names

My scenario is: sender channel = SFTP (Seeburger) transferring multiple PDF files to Receiver adapter File (NFS).
These PDF files need to have the same name as the original files from the sender (3rd party) system.
Because these files are being processed without an interface, I can't use UDF to help map the file names.
I've tried using Seeburger's localejbs/Seeburger/AttribMapper to map the names, as follows:
    File (NFS) receiver channel config:
    - ASMA boxes for 'Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes' and 'File Name' are ticked
    - Module localejbs/Seeburger/AttribMapper is on the first line in the module tab under processing sequence, with module key = AttributeMapper
    - Under Module Configuration:
      - Module Key = AttributeMapper
      - Parameter Name = http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File/FileName
      - Parameter Value = @http://seeburger.com/xi/SFTP/dtSubject
(I haven't entered any attribute module config on the sender side)
This setup fails on the receiver side with the message 'Delivering the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.RetryControlException: Channel stopped by administrative task.' (not very helpful!).  All I can get from that is that it doesn't like my module configuration!
Can anyone help me understand the correct way to do the file name mapping for my specific scenario?
    Regards,
    Christine

We've got this working at last!
The main problem was indeed the missing .sca file from Seeburger:  SeeModuleCollectionPI.sca
Our Basis team deployed this file this morning.  After a bit of fiddling around with the attribute mapping, my test files were transferred successfully with their original names.
The config I ended up with is just as described in another forum post for SFTP to FTP, but I'll repeat it in more detail here:
    Sender channel
    Parameters tab:
    Adapter Type = SFTP (Seeburger)
(sender, transport & message protocol = SFTP)
Scheduler = x in all appropriate days, with interval = 1 (minimum allowed)
(rest here is specific to your environment, but I set filename to *.pdf to get all .pdf files from the sender)
    Module tab
    Processing Sequence

  • RFC Sender Asynchronous -- File Problem

    Hi all,
I want to sent an asynchronous RFC to a file but when I execute my scenario in R3 it always returns a dump. In the XI monitoring I get the response error from the file: "Unable to read the payload from the message object".
I think its strange because I even don't want the file adapter to send a response but he does. I suspect that the problem is on R3 side because it sends a synchronous RFC call, but I don't have any idea how to send an Asynchronous RFC call to XI (via the RFC adapter).
    Steps I made:
    - Created on R3 a TCP/IP entry as registered server program
    - Created in XI an RFC adapter with registered server program name
    - rest of the configuration...
I think my main problem is that R3 expects an answer back because it throws a synchronous call to XI, but I don't have any clue how to set up an asynchronouss RFC call in R3 to XI (so my ABAP program doesn't dump).
    TIA

    Hi Peter,
first, if you didn't already have done that, load up a RFC function module to XI Repository, where you have only the XSD, no abap source code.
    In a ABAP program code:
    CALL FUNCTION 'MyFunction'
    DESTIONATION 'mySM59Destination'
    IN BACKGROUND TASK
    ...  "the normal call
    COMMIT WORK.

  • Sender RFC Adapter-- XI-- File Receiver Adapter ?

    Dear Expert,
we are on PI 7.0 & R/3 system 4.7E WAS < 6.20.  We have a scenario where in there are some huge downloads are required from R/3 to FTP File Location. For such scenarios Normally Poxy is suggested but Due to WAs Version limitation we cannot use Proxy. The other alternative is to use SENDER RFc adapter using RFC destination with XI. we have configured the RFC destination it is working fine.
I am able to receive the message also in XI. But whenever i am running this RFC in R/3 it is giving me the shot dump as follows. :
<b>call to messaging system failed: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException:</b>
The File is also getting written to the destination properly. But in XI also i get the following error.
    <b>  <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Request Message Mapping
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="1">

      <SAP:Retry>N</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error></b>
What could be the reason of this.? As well i am geting 3 error messages in XI.
I have defined this interface as Inbound / Async Message interface with input message as output file structure. ( Is this configuration is OKAY ?)
pl. help me to solve this error.
    Regards,
    Umesh

    HI,
Check your configuration from the message it states that it can not find out the mapping program.
Check the configuration Receiver and interface determination whether you are using the same which is designed in repository.

  • IDoc (Sender ) to File (Receiver): No receiver could be determined

    Hi, Dear  Friends,
I’m implementing scenario Idoc-to-File by means XI.
I try to follow this scenario:
Satish Jaiswal. A Step-by-Step Guide on IDoc-to-File Using Business Service in the XI Integration Directory
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e07dcaa0-a92b-2a10-3a96-b3d942bd1539
    But I have an error.
In sender system I send IDoc by transaction WE19. After that in transaction WE05 I see IDoc with status 03 (successful).
    After that in XI system:
    1) in transaction WE05 I don't see any IDoc (IDoc is not received by the Receiver (XI Integration Server))
    2) in transaction SXMB_MONI I see my message with error.
    Status - System error.
In detail view at stage "Receiver Identification" in item "Error" I see: "No receiver could be determined"
Unfortunately I'm not expert in IDoc.
Can you recommend me what I need to verify?
Or advice me link on another full good example with IDoc.
What I need to read for quick start in IDoc understanding.
    Thank you in advance.

  • File sender to file receiver scenario

    Hi,
I need to move a file (any type) from an FTP server to another file server as-is (no mapping) via XI.
What would be the quickest way to achieve this? Is doing anything in the IR avoidable since there is no mapping required?
    Regards,
    Rex

I double checked the parameters..evrything looks fine.
I donno why the adapter is not picking up the file. But my other file adapters are working fine.
    The parameters are as follows.
    (x) Sender () Receiver
    Adapter type: File
    Transport Protocol: File system (NFS)
    Msg Protocol: File
    Adapter Engine: Integration Server
    Src Directory: D:\XIDemo\Send
    File Name:    Pick_up.txt
    QoS: Exactly once
    Poll interval: 600
    Processing mode: Test
    Processing sequence: By Name
    File Type: Text
The adapter is in active state.
I deleted the initial adapter and created again, still not result
    Whats wrong here?

  • RFC Sender to SOAP receiver through asynchronous communication

    Hi all,
I have a requirement where I need send data from SAP HR system(through RFC) to webservice asynchronously.  For this I preferred RFC as a sender and SOAP as a receiver. Can anybody tell me whether it could be possible because I have gone throught the blog
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/configuring-the-sender-rfc-adapter--step-by-step
accordingly I did the configuration and then i gone through the blog
    /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/03/23/rfc--xi--webservice--a-complete-walkthrough-part-1
    and
    /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2006/03/28/rfc--xi--webservice--a-complete-walkthrough-part-2
in which they are communication synchronously.
But in my case i need to communciation asynchronously.  so when i am creating Interface mapping system is not able to pickup my mapping program.  I mapped source message as RFC request with Target structure.
Please let me know if asynchronous communication is possible how i have to may between RFC and SOAP.
    Regards,
    Dhill

    Hi Satish,
Thank you very much it is working fine now.  But I need some more clarification that for this scenario to execture we need a report from SAP side.  Instead is there any other method for XI to receive data.  I think it could be possible through proxies if yes can you send some link which would be very useful for me.
Otherwise is there any other way to do it by avoiding to write the code in abap but to call the RFC.
    Regards,
    Dhil.

  • Com.sap.sql.DuplicateKeyException in file receiver channel

    Hi experts,
I am currently testing the following scenario:
xml file -> file sender ->file receiver -> csv file
No mapping is used. Both channels are on the same PI 7.1 system.
The transformation seems to work so far. The only problem I have is that my receiver channel does not post the message to the directory because of this error:
Delivering the message to the application using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.DuplicateMessageException: Message Id f167e134-145e-4b2c-2d47-e431b8b34fd8(INBOUND) already exists in duplicate check table: com.sap.sql.DuplicateKeyException: [200]: Duplicate key.
Is it not possible to use file sender and file receiver in the same scenario? Thanks for any help.
    Best regards.
    Oliver.

    Hi André,
I am using the test option so the message can be processed multiple times. Anyway, I also tried using deletion but I still get the same error. I also tried a completely new file but still no change. When I check the comm channel I see that there is always created a new message id and when I search the rwb it posts two entries. One from the sender step and one from the receiver step. Seems to be alright to me.
    Regards.
    Oliver.

  • Dynamic File name for File receiver adapter

    Hello,
I am doing Proxy sender to File receiver scenario.
Filename is generated in SAP R/3 program and I want to create the file with this same name
    on target location.
please suggest me how to use this file name in Receiver file adapter?.
    Thanks & Regards
    Jagesh

    Hi,
you have to enable the adapter specific parameter --> file name in both the sender and the receiver CC to get the input file name as output file name.
    Refer this blog:
    /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/11/10/xi-the-same-filename-from-a-sender-to-a-receiver-file-adapter--sp14
Also you need to use this udf
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);
    return  ourSourceFileName;
    Also refer this blog:

  • File receiver- newline character between lines

    Hi All,
I am doing a file scenario in which i need to create a file with following structure:
    Head1     Head2     Head3
    Item11     Item12    Item13
    Item21     Item22    Item23
    Item31     Item32    Item33
I am able to generate a file which is tab delimited however the very first line of "Item" is not coming on new line. The file that i am getting is as follows:
    Head1     Head2     Head3    Item11     Item12    Item13
    Item21     Item22    Item23
    Item31     Item32    Item33
I need a new line between Header and Item. For rest all items lines I am getting a new line.
In my file receiver adaptor in Content Conversion I have made following settings:
    HEADER.fieldSeparator = '0x09'
    ITEM.fieldSeparator = '0x09'
I tried with following settings as well but i am not getting newline between Header and Item.
    HEADER.endSeparator = 'nl'
    ITEM.fieldSeparator = 'nl'
Can anybody plz suggest where i am going wrong? Or is there anything else i should do?
    Thanks,
    Atul

    Hi Nisar,
Thanks for ur reply. I tried with the combination you mentioned but i am not sure why it is not working? Is there any prerequisites for this?
I think 'nl' is default value for endSeparator as even if i removed the two parameters i am getting same output.
    Thanks,
    Atul

  • Help on scenario: RFC Sender - File Receiver

    Hello All,
I am stuck with a scenario where the sender is RFC and the receiver is FILE.
I have a simple RFC which has only two import parameters (No export parameters, no tables) and at the other end I have a file with two fields.
I have a requirement where in I have to pass the values of the import parameters of the RFC to a file and the call would be asynchronous.
I have mapped the request of the RFC to the file in XI and have done the necessary configuration settings for TCP/IP and tested it successfully.
When I try executing the RFC giving the RFC destination, the execution abends with an error "call to messaging system failed: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api..DeliveryException"
Any help on this would be really appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Vijay

    Vijay,
Since earlier you said that you are using only import parameter that's why i asked then how you are passing the values...without having any logic inside the RFC and export params ..got my point..?
Now since you clarified that you are directly passing the values through Export Params so there is no need of any logic inside..
now coming to ur error :
1.Program Id is case sensitive...Plz doubly make sure that it is written in the same fashion in both place.
Steps to check the scenario :
    a) Make sure that ur RFC Dest is working fine.
    b) Check in Visual Admin that RFC adapter is working .
    c) check sender communication channel in RWb.
    d) check RFC metatdata is correct or not..

    Hi
    Receiver is FTP only.....
    SAP side is RFC.........
RFC sender will be initiating the scenario, and there is receiver is File, PI should go to file directory and take the file then send it back to RFC as response.
    Sender: RFC
    Receiver: File
    1. is this scenario with condition based routing.. so that each time outof many receiver systems it will trigger any specific system.
if above is the case then you can achive this without BPM also..
    Yes...its condition based routing...
I Used async in this scenario.....sender side configurations also done....
But when when I am triggering BAPI from SE37 I am getting an error
    Exception SYSTEM_FAILURE
Message ID: 00 Message number: 341
    Message:
    Runtime error CALL_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND has occurred
    How to Solve this????
I checked the RFC destination which i created in TCP/IP..a nd i mentioned the same in se37 RFC target system..
    Connection is Ok
Or we need to create proxy for MI and report for this?

  • Flat file to Asynch RFC: R3 not getting updated

    hi all,
I have a flat file to asynch RFC scenario.I can see the file getting deleted and the chequered flag in MONI.In adapter monitoring i can see the message being processed for the RFC.But it has to update an R3 table which is not getting done.
Can anybody give ideas where the problem lies...in earlier blogs someone had suggested to check sm58 but dnt know what to give the inputs for this...
help highly appreciated and points will be awarded
    regards,'
    Nisheeta

    Hi Nisheeta,
1)I hope your Receiver RFC adpater is working fine (In adapter monitoring it should be green)
    2) As you mentioned that your RFC is working correctly with the given inputs (which in this case you are passing thru file, right?). Just check oncemore.
    3) Call transaction SM58 . This tool lists only those transactonal RFCs that could not be carried out successfully or that had to be planned as batch jobs. The list includes the LUW ID and an error message. Error messages displayed in SM58 are taken from the <b>target system</b>. To display the text of the message, double-click on the message.
so u have to check in sap29...
    Regards
    Suraj
