Automatic PO from PR through ME59N

Dear All,
While converting the PR automatically to PO with ME59N, I am getting message "No suitable PR found". Where as the PR contains the open items and the same PR can be converted in to PO thourgh ME57 (manually). Please suggest me what could be the problem and how to resolve it.

1. Maintain Auto PO in Material master Purchasing view
2. Select Automatic purchase order in Vendor master- Purchase data
3. Maintain info-record with tax-codes
4. Create a PR through ME51
5. Assign the same in ME57
6. Execute in background using Tcode ME59.
PO will be created automatically.

Switching from write through to write behind automatically

Hi,
We are considering a Coherence solution to protect a customer facing application from outages due to database failures. This is for a financial company and the monetary value of each transaction is large and we want to provide 100% guarantee against data loss while not incurring any outages. We want to provide a write-through persistence to the database through Coherence which can switch to a write-behind automatically at runtime if the database persistence fails. Is this doable automatically and would it solve the problem I am trying to solve without losing any inflight transactions? Are there any real customer cases that were successful in achieving this using Coherence?

Thanks for your reply. I must have explained the scenario better. What we are trying to do is to have our transactions commit to the database synchronously using write-through, so that during normal operation, the data will be committed, persisted and durable in the database. But our RW database becomes a single point of failure and if some problem occurs to the database during the peak load time, we run the risk of an outage till we fix the database problem or failover to the standby (We don't have RAC architecture or automatic failover and the manual switchover takes about 10 - 15 mins minimum). We want to avoid this by providing a cache-only operation mode during such a failure, where the customers can continue to transact and the writes will get queued in the cache. I do understand that losing both the database and the cache or losing the primary and the backup in the cache would result in a data loss. But I am assuming such a dual failure is rare.
We do not want to run write-behind all the time but only during the database failure window. From what you mentioned, it seems the runtime switching from write-through to write-behind is not available as an option.

I would suggest that you configure write-behind to have a fairly short write-delay, and you only return a confirmation to the client
- either after the write-behind succeeded (you can use a backing map listener to listen for the removal of the decoration which meant that the entry was dirty)
- or if the database went down (noticeable from the failure), then it is up to you whether you send a confirmation which also mentions that it is not persisted to disk yet, or not at all

Auto PO creation from PR through ME58 problem.

We are providing facility to our client auto po creation from PR through Me58 transaction code.
I am facing amazing problem is that it is working fine in development client , not working in Quality and Production client , exactly problem is that ME58 u2013 Ordering Assigned Purchase requisition & Process Assignment Create PO , Purchase order cannot be created, PR shift in document overview , it means user want to drag and drop in purchase order then system create PO , this problem I am facing in Quality & Production , but it is working fine in development server there is no need to drag and drop , immediately after Process assignment Create PO , system directly convert PR into PO just only need to check and save PO. I compare everything with development & quality data including material master , source list and everything still I am unable to understand where is the problem , is there any customization settings related to auto po ? pls. suggest any solution to solve this issue.

Config setting.
Settings for Automatic PO creation is:
1. Select the Automatic PO check box/option in Purchasing view of material master
2. Select the Automatic PO option in the purchasing data view of Vendor master
3. Maintain Purchase info record
4. ME56- Assign the vendors to PR's
5. ME58- Create PO via assignment list(PR-> PO)
6. ME57- Assign and process PR's
7. ME59N - Create PO automatically via PR
Above step by step procedure is involved in the Automatic PO creation.

SO is getting updated from PO thru ME59N

Hi All,
We have an issue here , our client is creating automatic PO from ME59N , but to the surprise he found that a new line item has been inserted into the corresponding sales order for which the PO was created.
The sales order had only 1 line item initially -- with some Purchase req no
Later after running ME59N, a new line item got inserted in the Sales order
But PO got created with single line item which was initially present in SO.
Can any one help me, why the SO is getting updated with the new line item?
or where can i see this issue.
Moreover this is issue is coming in the producion server , so i cant debug the issue as well.

Hi,
I have a feeling there is some configuration which controls if (and any) changes should get copied back to related documents - you might like to discuss this with your functional consultant.
Failing that, run a SQL trace and see if the update is occurring as a result of a customer enhancement - if it's the sales order being updated then look out for the VB* table updates in the trace.

Automatic PO from PR from MRP for transfer between plants

We want to use the automatic creation PO with tcode ME59. this scenario is clear when the purchase is from a supplier. but ¿this can be used also for transfer between plants?
For example we don´t have info records for transfer this material to one plant to another and this is a requirement in automatic po
The PO type is also different when transfering the materials between plants
The PO does not relate a supplier in header, instead it has the plant code.
However I tried to execute the automatic creation of PO with ME59 and I obtain the error below

Use ME59N,
But before using ME59N, you have to configure something, we know in ME59N, system will take default document type as NB automatically. (Check the sap note 924105, 114213, 994209)
You have to set the control T for the document type, so system will take the supplying plant instead of vendor.
Only then you can create automatic PO from ME59N.
I've tested that and I've done it successfully.

Facing issue while trying to disable automatic discovery of devices through Apple Bonjour

I am facing issue while trying to disable automatic discovery of devices through Apple Bonjour.
Background: Whenever our application is in running state, devices are automatically discovered if it connects to PC. We are using Apple Bonjour's auto discovery technology( mdnsresponder ).
We are registering a particular service type by using DNS API "DNSServiceRegister". Service type is getting registered properly and we are able to discovered that particular type of device.
Platform: Windows 7.0 / MAC 10.8
Issue:
But we are facing issue while trying to disable auto discovery of a device programmatically. i.e, unregistered a service reference programmatically from our windows application.
To unregistered a service we are using "DNSServiceRefDeallocate" DNS API. But looks like it is not working properly.
Is this DNS API “DNSServiceRefDeallocate” is correct one to unregistered the service?
Here is the step by step procedure that we are following to de-allocate a service reference:
1.Browsing / Query a service by using service type to get service reference (DNSServiceRef).
2.Get reference socket FD by using DNS API "DNSServiceRefSockFD".
3.Select a socket by using "select" API.
4.Close the socket that we got from step 2 by closesocket().
5.Delete the service reference by using DNS API "DNSServiceRefDeallocate" and service reference from step 1.
Are we missing any step to unregistered a service?

Original problem I noticed was that regular websites I go to (such as msn) were only partially downloading. I could see the text on the site but no pictures or videos. All web surfing was extremely slow. When I would go to a site such as man I would see another address in the lower left corner for "ads1.msads.net" or "cdn.optimizely.com" that is was trying to connect to. I tried using all three of my browsers (firefox, safari, chrome) and got the same response on all browsers. After I spent some time researching the issue I decided I probably had a adware/malware problem so I decided to try adwaremedic.com. I could also not access that site along with thesafemac.com or apple.com. I was also getting the same response on my other devices (iPhone, iPad, and a mac air). I could not access any of these sites on any of my devices although I could get to almost any other site although it was very slow. At that point I decided to unplug the router. I also did a number of other things before then to try and manually get rid of any adware. Eventually I got msn back working, apple.com, and the speed was much faster. But, I still can not access adwaremedic and thesafemac.com. I could access these on my phone with 3G but not on my wifi. This is where the problem still stands. I am sure I still have some adware on my computer and need to find a way to remove it. I am no techie so the complicated manual fixes are difficult for me to do.

HT203433 I can't consistently disable automatic downloads from iTunes

I keep trying to disable automatic downloads from iTunes (don't want TV shows I've purchased through my Apple TV to download onto my computer), by going to iTunes - Preferences - Store - and it works for a while, then it starts to automatically download these TV shows again when I open iTunes. So it works some of the time, but not consistently. Very frustrating! Can anyone help?

After reading some of the similar posts on here, I tried removing all the items from the iTunes downloads folder on my hard drive, and signing out from the iTunes store. Signing out from the iTunes store solved the problem temporarily, but as soon as I signed in again, the automatic downloads started again. When I looked in the iTunes downloads folder, there they were again - the .tmp files of the TV shows I DON'T want on my computer. Now I have another problem. When I went back into iTunes to check if the Store Preferences were still set to NO automatic downloads, I found those choices greyed out. They were still set to disable automatic downloads (no tick in those boxes) but now I can't change them at all. So I must have thrown out something I needed when I threw the contents of the downloads folder into the trash, and then emptied the trash. I tried to get the trash back using Time Machine, but couldn't find it in there. Sighhhh! I'm at my wits end and now I'm afraid to make things any worse than they already are.

Automatic renewal of certificates through CEP / CES.

We currently have a PKI on Windows 2008 R2 and in this case as customers use notebooks with Windows 7 SP1.
I have problem with the automatic renewal of computer certificate through CEP / CES.
Services CEP / CES are installed on the same server, the CA is in another server.
You want to automatically renew computer certificate through Internet.
These services are configured to only computer certificate renewal and renovation to allow authentication using a certificate previously issued to PC.
The first computer certificate is issued automatically through the settings in Group Policy in Active Directory, then the team has its certificate is configured PC Local Group Policy to configure the server URL CEP / CES.
I have no problem when I do the renewal through the MMC, only occurs when the team wants it done automatically.

I think "Auto Renewal of certificates through Internet (CEP / CES)" is a new feature in ADCS of Windows 2012. Not sure whether it can be realized in Server 2008.

Creation of SO from PO through Idocs in Same client

Hi frnds,
     Can we create SO from PO through IDOC's in the same client with different company codes.
Ex: PO created in 100 client in company code AB00. i have to create SO in 100 client in company code AB01.
Any suggestion on this is highly appreciated. Please provide the steps and idocs or let me know the other approach.

use this logic
The steps to send and receive an IDoc in the same system are as follows:
u2022     Create a Dummy Logical System.
     Goto T-Code SALE-> sending and Receiving Systems -> Logical Systems -> New entries. Enter SYSID_CLNT, but this one is Dummy so use the first two characters of the SYSID and prefix 'D' then underscore and then the Client number.
E.g., If ERP_100 is the logical system of the R/3, then create ERD_100 as the dummy system.
u2022     Create Port for the Original System, (ERP_100)
     Goto WE21 and select Transactional Port and press the Create button. Name the Port as "SAP" concatenated with the SYSID in our example it would be SAPERP Select the appropriate version and enter the RFC destination of the system that you are working on in this case it will be 'ERP'.
u2022     Create Partner Profile in partner type LS:
     Receiver Side (Outbound to): In Partner type LS name ERD_100create the Outbound Parameters, give the Message type, Receiver Port same as the port we created in step 2. Enter the Basic type.
     Sender Side (Inbound from): In partner type LS name ERP_100 create the Inbound Parameters, give the appropriate message type and the process code.
u2022     Now create the stand alone program to send the IDoc:
     The program will at some point calls the MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE function module. When you pass the EDIDC structure it will be populated as follows:

The outbound Idoc is sent on the port SAPERP with the Sender as ERP_100 and receiver as ERD_100 and then the Inbound IDoc is also sent to the same port SAPERP with the Sender as ERP_100 and receiver as ERD_10.
this is the method for creating logical system and setting
and use the respective function module and mesg type for posting it.

Office 365 x64 Click-to-Run Not Automatically Updating from Network Share

We are piloting Office 365 x64 and pointing the clients to a network share (see config file below) for updates. When we subsequently download the updates to the share the clients will not automatically install them. If we manually do so from
within an app (File > Account > Update Options > Update Now) it works fine. The ACL and Sharing permissions allow Everyone and Domain Computers read-only access (in addition to some other ancillary accounts). I've tried manually running
the Office Automatic Updates from Task Scheduler and left the box running overnight. I've rebooted, logged back on, closed and opened the app several times. Nothing happens, just always sits at the current version.
Anyone have any ideas?

It seems when the install finished it added an extra Office\Data to the path. My path should be \\hsbswpush02\GPsoftware\o365\Office\Data\15.0.4551.1005
but it shows
\\hsbswpush02\GPsoftware\o365\Office\Data\Office\Data15.0.4551.1005
If I edit the path and delete the extra Office\Data Office 365 ProPlus updates from my network location. I cannot figure out why it is adding the extra Office\Data to the path.
My config file looks like this:

have you tried omitting the \Office\Data element, from the Updates element ?

FYI I had to put this link into firefox to reply - because **** back safari just wouldn't register my clicks to any of the links on the post... Despite reloadeing and even restarting my computer. Totally annoying and a massive pain in the ***.
But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap.

Am trying to access MS SSAS data cube from Java through olap4j driver(through msmdpump.dll). I am able to connect , but when I try to execute a query, i am getting the below error: Please help
me out . (I tested the http://XXXX/OLAP/msmdpump.dll in MS Excel , and it is working fine)

Facing error when trying to read message from MQ through B2B

I'm trying to read the messages from MQ through B2B.
I have created a listening channel in B2B console.
Also place the required jar files in the Domain_Dir/lib folder.For your reference the jar files are given below,
