IS ther any poosiblity that we make the attributes in request dataset as read-only or non-editable

I am not sure about but in lookup you can use the tag read-only="false".
Can you try in your data type e.g:

loggined in user attribute vallue can be understood differently:
- A requester raising a request and you want *Requestor's ID" there.
- An approver logging in to the system for doing approvals.
- A System admin logged in to the system for managing the *Forms, Requests' etc
All the above cases are different and you would expect different values for all. If you requirement was the Requester then
1) Either create a hidden attribute in the Process Form and pre-populate it from the Request Form. In your query use *$Form data.UD_ADUSER_DUMMYREQID')*
2) Or directly capture the *$Requester Information.User Login$* attribute in the process form and do manipulations

How can we make the selected Debug User Agent Netscape 7.0 stick?

To get into http://gap.com I have to go to the Debug menu, choose User Agent and choose Netscape 7.0.
It works Ok.
Then I quit Safari. Get back into Safari. User Agent is back to Automatically Chosen, and gap.com to not working.
How can we make the selected User Agent stick?

Unfortunately, I don't think there is an automated way of going about this. To begin with, the 'Debug' menu was never meant to be user accessible in the most common context.
However, that said, you could lessen the pain by assigning a keyboard shortcut to the 'Netscape 7.0' menu-item in the 'Keyboard & Mouse' preference pane (under the 'Keyboard Shortcuts' tab). Hope that helps, somewhat.

Get Info on your drive from the Finder - you'll see a dialog box like this:
If the Privilege is set to Read Only for the user, simply click on the "Read Only" and change it to "Read & Write".

How can I make the text vertical in numbers? I have merged the cells and cannot find an option for making it go vertical as opposed to horizontal.

Ah, yes- that is an ultra high DPI (dots per inch) display. This is a known issue in Flash Player, which Adobe is working on fixing.

ListUpcomingConferences - The entity is not authorized to make the request.

I am trying to listUpcomming conferences with Oracle RTC Integration Services. Authentication process executes succesfully but at the time of listing upComing conferences statusCode *1032* is returned which denotes an entity is not authorized to make the request. I have assigned this resources the maxium rights using rtcctl utlity. Inspite of having maximum rights I am not able to list UpComing Conferences.
Can anybody please help me to find out the issue? Quick response would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if You can change any request parameters...
You can set e.g. a request attribute in the case that You get the request object from the faces context and set the attribute.

How can I make the combo box turn to the value of black.

When the show button is pressed (and not before), a filled black square should be
displayed in the display area. The combo box (or drop down list) that enables the user to choose the colour of
the displayed shape and the altering should take effect immediately.When the show button is pressed,
the image should immediately revert to the black square, the combo box should show the value that
correspond to the black.
Now ,the problem is: after I pressed show button, the image is reverted to the black square,but I don't know
how can I make the combo box turn to the value of black.

How can I hide the password and user name in url???

Hi experts,
I'm creating a login page and know I have a problem.
The Username and password are verified in a Java class, after checking the user and password, the user should be linked to the portal.
So far everything has worked well.
But when I call the lin like this
res.sendRedirect ("/ irj / portal j_user =" + UserN + "& j_password =" + passw);
then the user name and Pwasswort appears in the url.
Can someone tell me how can I hide the password and user name???
It will be very helpful.

If there is no specific reason that you have to use sendredirect...thne you can try request.forward.....
RequestDispatcher rd = request.getRequestDispatcher("pathToResource");
rd.forward(request, response);
