CS5 Photoshop install errors on Mac OS X

I have a Mac OS X 10.7.5 and am trying to install Adobe Photoshop from my CS5 Design Premium Disk.
Illustrator and InDesign installed fine, but when it got to Photoshop I got this error.
I restarted the computer and tried again and got the same errors. I have no idea how I can go about fixing this.

I have downloaded and installed the Adobe support Advisor and it reported the following ,.
Trying to select the link in the report above takes me to the following ..

Which reports an error in a Windows environment ? and advices we ignore this error. However the installation does not go any further.. it quits and does not ask for the other disks to be installed.
Its been several times I have already tried to install and in between every install a restart of my mac pro

CS5 photoshop function errors

I have CS5 photoshop and recently installed it on a new iMac with mavericks. The main functions work but I get error messages for anything in 'automate and scripts'. I have tried to uninstall but there is no uninstall in Utilities. Any suggestions ?

Run the Cleaner tool to remove any instances of Ps :http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html . Restart your system and then try installing Ps again.

Illustrator CS5 re-install error: Install.app can't be opened.

Hello everyone,
Has anyone ever seen this error when installing Illustrator CS5 on Mac OS X Lion?
"Install.app" can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.
Things that might be related;
a) I've recently upgraded the hard disk. I restored everything from a TimeMachine backup
b) I had a few strange things happen with illustrator over the last few months. Yesterday I couldn't place .png graphics into a file, so I uninstalled everything and decided to reinstall from scratch.
c) My downloaded source (illustrator_15_1_LS1.dmg) was kept on a network volume. I assumed the error meant it was corrupted so I downloaded the source again from Adobe. I get the same error on the newly downloaded file.
d) Following a suggestion elsewhere in the forums, I tried Disk Utility > Verify Disk on my new hard disk. It found several permission errors which I let it fix. The problem remains.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I can solve this.

Short answer: OS X 10.7.4 (or maybe before) introduced an incompatibility between Illustrators install file and Mac OS X.
Updating to OS X 10.7.5 solves this.

it directed me towards Gate Keeper functionality of OS X 10.8 having been enabled in updates in OS X 10.7.4(or earlier, not too sure).
Running `sudo spctl -a Install.app/` gave the result CSSMERR_TP_CERT_REVOKED but the solution posted on stackoverflow of disabling gate keeper didn't work. So I set off to find a way of inspecting the certificate. I didn't find instructions to read the certificate but that did lead me to read the apple site about gate keeper and that although it was introduced as a feature in Mountain Lion (os x 10.8) some features were provided for developers in Lion (10.7).
I thought I'd have to buy and install Mountain Lion but found that I hadn't got the latest Lion update. I downloaded that, installed, restarted and now the installer works fine.

CS5 Trial Install error

I downloaded a trial of photoshop cs5 and when I go to install the trail it first warns me of a "pending restart" which i can ignore and continue or close and do a restart as recommended (which I tried). If I attempt to continue with the installation it tells me it failed. This is the error log below (it's big). Let me know if you want more information. Im running windows 7 32-bit by the way.

Install error on Mac "could not create ~/library/application support/adobe/coresync"

Any reason why this would be happening and what I should do?

I'm getting this same error after trying to install on my mac pro.
I see that the cloud installer was able to create the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe folder and a bunch of folders in side that, but it complains
about not being able to create the CoreSync folder.
I ran into this, then uninstalled everything, and nuked the ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe folder completely and started over.
The installed created the Adobe folder and "AAMUpdaterInventory", "AdobeApplicationManager", "Extension Manager CC", OOBE, SLCache, SLStore, Vulcan
folders just fine. but it can't create the CoreSync folder in the same location.
I'm stuck.

Audition CS5.5 Install Error 20

I have a new computer and attempting to do a fresh install of Audition CS5.5. The first attempt required a qualifying product serial # (since my CS5.5 install is an upgrade). I entered my serial # for Audition 2.0 and at the end of the install, I received an error 20, with the recommendation to restart and re-attempt the install. On the next two attempts it did not ask for a qualifying product # and I received the same error. Please help. Thanks!

I downloaded CS6 Photoshop beta. After downloading, I clicked on set-up.exe in the WINZIP folder.
I get the following error: Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Adobe Support Advisor
to detect the problem.
I downloaded the support advisor but it came up with no problem.
I have downloaded it 2x with the same error message when trying to install.
What else can I try?

Here is the post I was trying to recall.
Use a different unzipping application. If I remember correctly, some users were having issues with WinZip. They tried WinRar, and it solved their issue.

CS5 Trial install error-insert disk?

I've successfully downloaded a trial of Photoshop CS5, but when trying to install it the progress bar stops at 0% and I get a message which reads "please insert photoshop cs5 disk to continue". Obviously I don't have the disk as it's a downloadable trial. When I cancel the install i get a long list of error codes which starts like this:

I've come across one or two other people experiencing this problem, but mostly on windows machines, so I've not managed to find an answer to this problem. some explanations I've found are too technical for me to understand, I'm no computer genius. One thing I have noticed is that the sharing and permissions options in the "get info" menu of the install folder are greyed out, and can't be changed. Clicking the padlock does not allow me to make changes as usual. Access privileges for my user (admin) are read and write, but read only for "staff" and "everyone". Don't know if this is anything to do with it, but I read of another case where changing these settings solved the problem. I've tried re-downloading the trial, and installing again, but that hasn't worked.
Some help with this problem would be appreciated.

I think this happens if there is more that one installer mounted. Have you tried restarting your entire system, remounting the installer, then trying to reinstall?

Photoshop install error.. please help

Why cant i install photoshop CS6? I downloaded it and when i launch the setup.exe thing, it loads and then at the end it shows a error..

What its saying is that i already have a pre released version of photoshop cs6 or a version that comes in conflict with CS6.. I had CS5, and i uninstalled it, hoping that CS6 would work.. and it didnt

DW CS5 Update install error

I get the following error while upgrading Dreamweaver CS 5
Dreamweaver CS5 11.0.4 Updater
Installation failed. Error Code: U44M1P7
I have done the following to rectitfy the error:
1. I tried Carey Burgesses help here - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/848587?start=0&tstart=0
2. Installing the update manually from here - http://www.adobe.com/support/dreamweaver/downloads_updaters.html
3. As suggested - removing the /AAMUpdater folder here - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/847350?start=0&tstart=0

I am not going to reinstall CS5 because I can't get a fix, I'm not all together sold that THAT would fix the error either...
Anyone have an actual solution for this?

Have you posted in that thread with Carey and looked in the other user suggested answers? Also you may need to post your entire crash log for anything to be fixed when the problem is this specific.
The Photoshop team had a similar issue that was shown to be crashing because of Adobe Player for Embedding and they said the only way was to re-install the individual app and then re-install the patches. But part of the thread also suggests making sure your OS is up to date as well.
