Display only first value of the repeated values in ALV report

Test Data
Doc No   Net Val   billing Doc value Qty
1000      2000.00    567850.00

In this type of ALV Report in which only the First field value of the repeated value should be displayed.
Doc No   Net Val   billing Doc value Qty
1000      2000.00    567850.00
2000      6000.00    767850.00
I can display document value as like expected result in SORT ORDER in LAYOUT but the Quantity value,Net value which cannot be done in SORT ORDER in LAYOUT.
Please tell me the suitable solution.

For a Sales Order there are two Invoice.

I need to print this billed Qty and Net value only once in first line and it should not be deleted.
I need the result like this

The same value should not be repeated for Billed Qty and Net Value.
I can do that for Sales doc in sort order in layout but i couldn't do for Billed qty and Net Value.

Invalid path? What are you doing? Writing the report output to an invalid directory?
Where are your terms and conditions? It would be very easy just to put them in a database table and select them in your report query.

Tree hierarchy of time displays only first character

The Database is Teradata and I am using OBIEE 11g.
I have time hierarchy and I have used this tree in reports. But when I drill down on the tree, only first letters of the caption are displayed not entire string.
Eg: instead of Q1-2010, just Q gets displayed next to the + sign.
If I drill on quarter, instead of showing "April", it shows "A".
If I just display the column or the column is in form of the usual 10g drill down, then it is fine.
Could anyone suggest a solution for this ?

This happens to be a bug in obiee 11g. SR has been raised.

Restrict WERKS values in the output of simple ALV(using REUSE_GRID_DISPLAY

I have one requirement as follows:-
--> I want to restrict WERKS values in the output of simple ALV(using REUSE_GRID_DISPLAY).
currently the values ae displayed from standard search-help.
I want to fields WERKS(MRP Type) values from table T001W with field VKFLZ = 'B'.
Now the fieltered values should be displaeyd in ALV output.
I was thinking of using the event, but i cannot find appropriate event where i can code my changes...please suggest

Display only one variable in the header and not column in WAD

Hi All,
my requirement is to be able to display only one variable in the report output header and hide the others. I am able to display all by using the INFO FIELD ITEM and saying variable display ON - but the requirement is very specific for only one variable display.
how can i achieve this ?

Hi,
You can insert a text item and Turn off the others or Hide these from Filter pane I have done that and then use that query for your WAD.
Steps:
1. Uncheck all the variables from your Design item in Analyzer.
2. Insert a New Text Item and check the Variable you want to display.
3. Go back and run the Query.
Even you can change the position in the Query and Save as a workbook.Let me know ,if this works.

We have aggregate functions in SQL. Some of the functions are as follows.
MAX(col ) Determines the maximum value of the value in the column col in the resulting set or in the current group.
MIN( col ) Determines the minimum value of the content of the column col in the resulting set or in the current group.
AVG( col ) Determines the average value of the content of the column col in the resulting set or in the current group. The data type of the column has to be numerical.
SUM( col ) Determines the sum of the content of the column col in the resulting set or in the current group. The data type of the column has to be numerical.
COUNT( col ) Determines the number of different values in the column col in the resulting set or in the current group.
For further details , type the function name name and press F1 for further help.
Eg: select count(mantr) from mara into workarea where condition.

No. Not without access to a computer running iTunes. You do want to use your own computer so that you can restore from your backup and sync your own content back from iTunes.

How to get the actual data in ALV report

I am doing some upgradation work in that i am using Submit & And return and also i am using some function modules like LIST FROM MEMORY , LIST TO TXT wnd WRITE LIST , it gives output in normal list format , But i need to print in ALV report .
With the use of set table for 1st display i got the ALV report but not with actual data, (some junk value is showing) , So can any 1 suggest me how to get the actual data in ALV report, With the use of Any Function Module or with Coding,

I am sure you must be getting the values in tables of table parameters from every FM.
consolidate the values from tables of all FMs in one table and built ALV for that table only.
I hope this way you can show the actual data in ALV.

Values not getting displayed from first page of the report.

Values in the report is getting displayed from second page.
First page in the report only displaying the report title and column names.
Secone page onwards, data and column names are generated.
Can any one please help me, with the cause of the problem.
