Dump error while running tcode

Hi
When i am running my payroll with standard tcode pc00_m10_calc that tcode is going into abap runtime error.,
I even checked with abap and basis but can able to solve the prob so kindly help me

Note: for INDIA and INTERNATIONAL i can open the tcode and run a payroll but only for US payroll i cant open the standard tcode

I'm facing a dump error while running termination action, please, if some one wud help me out of this error. here when im termination action the system is opening action infotype when given the date of termination and try to save, system shows a warning message that "Record valid from 08.08.1995 to 31.12.9999 delimited at end" then I press enter and system is asking me to save. when I do so, rather than it taking me to another screen its throwing a dump error.

for termination action the operation that i've set is

so just want to know if the set format for termination action is right
and other option is that if there is some change to settings of infotype charateristics in table v_t582A this may cause change in the date that is cause of error.
can u please suggest the above alignment of operations and infotype is right and provide me the idle settings for infotype characteristics which may solve my query.

Error while running tcode wwy1 in r/3

Hello,
I am beginner for Internet Transaction Server (ITS).
while running tcode wwy1 in SAP R/3, ther is an ABAP runtime error as below.
An exception occurred. This exception is dealt with in more detail below
. The exception, which is assigned to the class 'CX_SY_DYN_CALL_ILLEGAL_TYPE',
was neither
caught nor passed along using a RAISING clause, in the procedure
"USER_COMMAND_0100" "(FORM)"
Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception
to occur, the running program was terminated.
The reason for the exception is:
In the function "BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA" the STRUCTURE parameter "PERSONAL_DATA"
is typed in such a way
that actual parameters are not valid, unless they are compatible
according to the Unicode fragment view.
But when I run test for function "BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA", it display the result.
Can anyone have a clue ?

Can anybody have any idea about this dump error in BW quality system while user running tcode BPS0 and getting this dump repeatedly please help me out on this.

Hi Bansidhar,
It would be helpful if you could tell what type of dump it is.
If it is a timeout you should check whether l_t_backorder_item is empty - in this case ALL document numbers are selected. f you get the timeout with a populated table consider converting the l_t_backorder_item table into one ore more ranges tables - the select with ranges tables is way quicker than 'for all entries'. But take care the ranges table has not to many entries - the SAP SQL converter puts this into one huge SQL statement and this might become too big to be handled by the database (depends on the actual underlying database).
I would also consider splitting the SELECT into two (2nd one with 'appending into table') to make the code easier to understand It also helps the database system determining a strategy for the select.

Hi,
Please check in SPDD whether this table T2580 is present or not.
Clear SPDD list if required.
If not then activate the table using SE11 it will solve your problem.

Error while running Tcode F.2E 'do not enter a posting date'

When running the transaction F.2E I am getting an error abort message saying "'do not enter a posting date'".

that transaction is used for reconciliation of associated companies, its no longer available, use TC - FB2E
see below notes from SAP
Program RFICRC00 for reconciling associated companies is no longer available as from Release ERP2004. The functions have been replaced by new programs. You can access these from the SAP application menu as follows:
SAP menu -> Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable -> Periodic Processing -> Closing -> Check/Count -> Cross-System Intercompany Reconciliation
These programs provide more functions and flexibility, and they enable you to reconcile data across different systems.
You carry out the Customizing for these programs in the SAP Customizing Guide under:
Financial Accounting or Financial Accounting (New) -> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Accounting -> Business Transactions -> Closing -> Count -> Cross-System Intercompany Reconciliation

Srinath is 100% correct.
If the deployment failed, then there will very likely be some mention in the log.
You state that you checked the log, but you didn't mention whether you found an error, no error, a successful startup, etc. you are providing painfully few details to assist.
I would bet if you posted your .log and .out logs to Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002 and provided us links, We would be able to point out the error.
Lacking that information, my best advice would be to re-install and double-check you're completing all steps in the correct order.
Also, be sure to always search the product documentation first, the search this forum. For basic issues (e.g., standard installation), there is a high probability that someone else has asked that question.

Error while running BDB tcl testsuite commands

I build berkeley db (4.7.25) libraries with tcl test suite is enabled in the solaris 9 machine using below configuration
../dist/configure --enable-dynamic ${BUILD_TAG} enable-tcl with-tcl=/export/tcl8.5/lib enable-test enable-java -prefix ${BUILD_DIR}
I used tcl 8.5, jdk1.6.0_18 and gcc-3.4.6 for building libraries.Libraries are build successfully.
When I run tcl command "run_std" in the tcl prompt, test is completed with below error logs in ALL.OUT file.

Is this problem occur if berkeley db jars having any issues ?Why because, when berkeleydb jars (build without tcl test flags in the same environment) are used in application under high load,application is hanged because of berkeley db native api.
Sorry,I could not change ulimit value in my system because of lack of permissions.

Oracle suggested trying these steps and it fixed the issue. These scripts delete the already exisiting seeded data, so it can be populated again by the .ldt and avoid the unique constraint error.
1. Ensure that you have taken a backup of your system before applying the recommended solution.
2. Run the following scripts in a TEST environment first:
delete from csc_plan_headers_b
where seeded_flag = 'Y'
and application_id = 511;
delete from csc_plan_headers_tl
where seeded_flag = 'Y'
and application_id = 511;
delete from csc_plan_lines
where seeded_flag = 'Y'
and application_id = 511;3. Once the scripts complete, confirm that the data is corrected.
You can use the following SQL to confirm:
select count(*) from CSC_PLAN_LINES where line_id=1;4. If you are satisfied with the results, issue a commit.
5. If you are satisfied that the issue is resolved, migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments.

Error while running a KPI Watchlist in obiee 11g dashboard

I am getting the following error while running a KPI Watchlist :
*" Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW) "*
I added two KPI's (KPI 1 & KPI 2)into that Watchlist , one from the default "Sample Sales Lite" (sub 1) and another from sub 2 which have essbase as data source .
KPI 1 (created from sub 1) is working fine , but while placing KPI 2 (created from sub 2 ) in the watchlist , its throwing the above error . However , while running KPI 2 individually , its showing meaningful results .
Let me know if the problem statement is not clear .
OBIEE version used : 11.1.1.5.0 .
