EMIGALL Distributed Schedule Job - Getting Error

Currently I Placed migration formatted file and try to execute the "distributed
import" i am getting error,"Object in import-file header does not
correspond to the migration object". Same file i am able to execute
thru REMIG_SPLIT_SUBMIT report successfully. I am having issues in
Schudule job also. Is there any OSS note i need to apply.

Srini,
- The header information in the import file (1st data record) does not fit to the name of the selected migration company and migration object.
- The REMIG_SPLIT_SUBMIT report works in a generic way and ignores the infomraiton in the header record.

Orchestration Process Cleanup Task schedule job getting failed

We have an out of the box scheduled job "Orchestration Process Cleanup Task". This job is getting failed with the below error.
"Failed.oracle.iam.platformservice.exception.OrchDataCleanupException:java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException:ora00913:too many values"
This recon take two parameters in which we have given values as below:
Batch size:100
Delete Just One Batch: No
I am not able to find how this job is configured or how it's deleting the values.
Please help me out and if anyone know about the links where I can get the info on this job, it will be much helpful.

Batch Size: Use this attribute to specify the number of completed orchestration processes to be deleted in each iteration.
Delete Just One Batch: Use this attribute to specify the value true or false. Only a single batch is deleted if the value is true. All the completed events are deleted batch at a time in a loop if the value is false.
So, let's try:
Batch Size: 1 (just 1)
Delete Just One Batch: yes (radio button)

EMIGALL Distributed Import Job for BP is getting cancelled in background

Hi,
When I'm restarting Distributed import and it's getting cancelled after some time with system error as "internal lock table overflow".
I checked SM12 (while job was running) it's showing 14,000 - 15,000 locks on table BUT000, even though EMIGALL is not updating that table as it's rerun of the old job. (Old job been cancelled due to network issue.).
Can anybody please help me to understand why it's happening?

Hi Sagar,
I think I can explain what happened in your system:
During data migration the application encountered many errors and does not release the locks immediately. Remember: it is not the slave jobs that creates locks but the called application (through the service functio module). If the application enncounters an error (also when the business object cannot be locked due to a lock table overflow) it returns the error and the load program writes it to the error log. The saved error message is not always directly related to the lock table overflow situation. Often it is saying: object already locked by user xxx).
The master jobs uses also locks to block the configuration of its profile against concurrent access (exclusive access). If a user blocks the profile temporarily during an update of the profile, the master job waits until the update operation finishes. This last usually only very few ms. If the master encounteres a 'lock table overflow' situation it cancels - as designed be the developer.
The simple solution is that you should avoid a lock table overflow situation and/or that the lock table must not be too small.
Sagar, I might also be that you find also the error 'lock table overflow' in the system log. Please check.

Oracle 10G: Creation of a new scheduled job gives error

When a new job is being created, it keeps giving this error. The job does not exist and has never been created. I have checked if such a job exists using EM and did not find one. Any help on this is really appreciated. Some entry is there in some table because of which it is not allowing me to create the job. Please help.

I'm running into a similar situation on 10g except in my case - I did create the job previously. I've tried to drop the job and I get an error that it doesn't exist. I don't see the job in EM or in dbs_scheduler_jobs.

Do the following:
SVRMGR> connect internal
SVRMGR> delete from sapr3.dbstattora;
SVRMGR> commit
After executing the above commands , re-run that DB Statistic Job from DB13. The contents of the table dbstattora will be created again.
Please refer SAP Note 421697 and 458872 to get more detailed information.

In archiving job getting error: F5210 period version is not defined

Hi All,
When trying to execute T-code SARA using object FI_documnt, I encounter an error message :F5210 period version is not defined. Checked tables T070(document type life), table T071 (account type life) and found that they are properly maintained.
What should I do next? Please advice.

I could not sure what input parameters you have entered. You are recommended to not enter a company code, because if yes, the archiving program has to determine the current fiscal year for all company codes defined in your customizing. This is necessary, as the summary records can not
be archived for the current and the last year.

Backgroun job, getting error message

I am trying to run a report in background. In one server it is working fine, but in another server it is giving me error
"450 columns too great for format X_65_255"
line-size of report is 450. It is working fine in one 4.6c server but not in another 4.6c server.

Have you tried restarting the db and the server? I have seen this on user search and a db restart along with server restart solved it for me. Also note that this error in my case was due to wrong mds file. so for you also check ur tasks and any custom xml which might have some errors into it.

Hi,
There are a few other limits you could check .
Make sure that you have not exceeded the maximum number of sessions or the maximum number of processes or the maximum number of scheduler jobs
select * from dba_scheduler_global_attribute;
and
select name,value from v$parameter where name like '%process%';
select name,value from v$parameter where name like '%session%';
Also check how many jobs are currently running
select count(*) from dba_scheduler_running_jobs;
select count(*) from dba_jobs_running ;
select count(*) from v$session ;
One of these limits may need to be increased.
The run_job succeeds because it runs in the current session by default, if you use use_current_session=>false, does it still work ?
Also auto_drop only drops the job when it has completed e.g. past its end_date or exceeded its max_runs.

Basiclly when i am trying to schedule a job by pressing F9 and setting it to immediate. when i chek in SM36, the job gets cancelled. The dump says "GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED" error. The source code where the error is soming is a refresh statement.

Scheduling Job Error in NWM 7.11

Hi ,
When i schedule job for a DO in SDOE_BG_JOB_MONITOR always it is getting cancelled.
In job log it is showing the following error: "Control Framework : Fatel Error - GUI cannot be reached".
Error text in ST22 "Exception Contion "CNTL_ERROR" raised"
what could be the reason ?
Server Details:
SAP NW Mobile 7.11 EHP1 Level 002.
Note : Same DO job is working in NWM 7.10 SP09.

After the DOs are transported, is RFC destination created in 7.11 system to connect to Backend?
RFC destination will not be transported as part of DO. After transporting, we have to create a RFC and set it to the Backend Adapter.
The Error clearly says it is unable to connect.
Please check this.

OIM 11g-Error During Creating a new Scheduler Job

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a new scheduled job. I imported the job by using the 'weblogicImportMetadata.sh'.
But when I click on the task lookup while creating a job using UI, I am getting the following error in the logs. Please let me know if anyone faced this error before and how can it be resolved.

I am afraid you might have made some undesirable changes in the /db/tasks.xml..... And don't go via plugin route... Instead
Please restore the backup of /db/tasks.xml...
The better alternative would be:
(1) Create a separate /db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml (Remember the /db part... This should be the folder...
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import/db/ABCDMyCustomScheduler.xml
Then in the weblogicImportMetadata.sh, import path should be till:
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/MYPROJECTMDSFILES/import
If it does not begin with /db, the job will not appear when you would try to create new job for it via Web GUI
(2) Upload Jar.sh as Scheduler task...
(3) Restart and all that...

My bad, I gave wrong search base. Issue resolved.
However, I need to run the a trusted source recon for only active
Users. I gave filter as useraccountcontrol=512 but got casting exception.
Any pointers on how to specify the filter to get only active accounts from AD?

Scheduled job not getting executed on a logical standby

Hello,
We have created a job(through dbms_scheduler API). The job is enabled and shows up in the SCHEDULERJOBS view also.
However the job does not get executed. I looked into the following tables there was no relevant entry found for the aforesaid job:
select * from all_scheduler_job_log
select * from dba_scheduler_running_jobs
select * from DBA_SCHEDULER_JOB_RUN_DETAILS order by log_date desc
Is there any limitation that we cannot execute scheduled jobs on a logical standby database. If i execute the relevant program (that is configured to be run as job in this scenario) as an individual procedure from SQL plus, it gets executed successfully implying there is no errors/problem in the subprogram that the job is going to invoke.

Thanks for your response.
As per the app design, the job invokes a stored program(that maps to a stored procedure present in standby db itself) that reads the data from standby and populates the relevant tables/entities in another database(third db, not primary or standby) which acts as a repository. No write operations are to be performed on standby.
So, i have two doubts:
-- Can scheduled jobs execute on logical standby db[Oracle release 10g(R2)]
I was going through few of the oracle docs and it is mentioned that this is a known limitation in 10g
R2 release and has been corrected in 11g. Now we have something called database_role
attribute that needs to be set to 'LOGICAL STANDBY' if you need to execute a job on
standby. However it is available in 11g onwards.
-- If there is no workaround for the above mentioned problem in 10g-R2 release.
Then we may have to schedule a job from third db instance that shall invoke the program(residing on the standby db). Can we have a scheduled job which executes a program that maps to a remote stored procedure instead of local stored procedure?
