Netflix is only available for Apple TV2 not the first version. It is under the Internet tab and you must sign in with your username and password. You need a Netflix Account to use this service. I have a Netflix account so it shows up on my Apple TV2.

Are you asking about the separate Apple remote or Apple DVD player or both?
If your iMac is the new slimline models, there is no longer a bulit-in IR receiver input to use the separate Apple remote any longer.

Did you subscribe to Netflix directly on Apple TV? That's the only way it will link to your ID. If you signed up through Netflix then you are billed through them.
If it is in fact linked to your ID, any purchases will be deducted from your remaining balance first. However, if your account id blocked or on hold for some reason you will need to contact iTunes.

Apple says in the very first sentence on the very first page of the first chapter of their of their Apple TV 2 "Setup Guide" that you can watch streaming content from Netflix and then NEVER MENTIONS NETFLIX AGAIN! How disingenuous is that?!? I tried at the iTunes Store and they'll sell you aps but they won't help you actually stream movies from Netflix.
Now I could go to Apple Support except that I received my Apple TV 2 as a present and so I don't have the purchase date (it is after the 90 days anyway even though I haven't hooked it up yet) so they just keep sending me into a never-ending FU loop. Right now I'm so angry that I don't think that I will ever buy another Apple product again. gonna be tough though since I have an iMac, an Airbook, an iPhone 4, an iPhone 3GS, two iPods, and TWO Airport Extremes... So here I am trying to see if you folks can help me out.
I think the easiest thing for you to do would be to get me a URL where someone has dealt with this issue and I'll take it from there.

I don't have tv firmware update under the settings menu and I have been to the set manual I have tried youtube and I can't find the solution anywhere. Surely there must be some way to add things like netflix or lovefilm on this.
Okay, lets start at the beginning...
After setting up the TV device and turning on Home Sharing in iTunes on your computer, do you see an opening screen something like this on your HDTV?
If so, you should be able to see a portion of the Netflix app peeking in at the bottom of your HDTV screen which you should be able to select as seen here...
If you don't, then the next thing to do is to go to the "Settings" menu and select the "General" option as seen here.
At this point you can select the "About" option to check to see what version of IOS is installed on your devices. I.e., you probably want the latest software versions available/compatible for both iTunes and your TV device. Here is what I am currently running on my entertainment system device...
If the software is not up to data and you have not automatically received notification of the availability of newer software, then you can go back to the "General" memu as depicted above and select the "Update Software" option to manually check for a firmware (non-volatile software) update which may fix your problem. If this does not fix your problem, I would next try forcing a cold reboot by using the "General > Restart" menu option or simply unplugging and re-plugging in the device.
If this doesn't help, the next step would be to go to the "General > Reset" menu option located just above the "Restart" option as depicted above. Opening this option will give you access to both the "Reset" and "Restore" options which are usually your points of last resort before returning the device to an Apple store or tech support facility for hardware testing. (Of the five units I currently own, one did actually fail between the watching of two movies an was replaced by the local Apple store after confirming a hardware problem instore—so this remains a possibility here for your purchase.

I just spent the last six months encoding and embedding album art to all my music/movie files using a app purchased from the app store. All album art showed up in pre-iTunes 11 and all played just fine. After upgrading to iTunes 11, every music/movie file that starts with the letter A and B have missing album art. The rest of my files are ok. When I navigate to finder/iTunes/movie album art embedded file shows up ok with album art. I need to submit a bug report to Apple. How would I go about this?

I've sold one Macbook and two minis on ebay with no problem. I always use Paypal and only ship to a Paypal verified address. On each sale I got just about what I paid for the macs minus Paypals cut. Selling to a live person for cash may sound good but you're letting someone know you have an expensive laptop at your home and that might bring the wrong person. I have sold on eBay for several years (feedback 300+) and have never been scammed. People try of course, you always get the emails asking where you are and can they come by. Or you get the offer to buy your laptop for $500 more than it's worth IF you send them the laptop via their fedex account and they pay on receipt. NOT! If you sell on eBay use Paypal and ship to verified address sellers are covered too for problems with sales. Good luck in selling your Mac you should get a good price.

How to extend Virgin Superhub broadband using Apple Airport Express

I need to extend my Virgin Superhub broadband (Which is downstairs) using Airport Express as my playstation looses connection (upstairs) when I'm online (especially when playing Fifa!) any ideas on how to do this as I keep getting a message saying it was unable to extend? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are trying to configure the Express to "extend" using wireless only, unfortunately that feature is reserved for use with other Apple routers. It would be extremely unlikley that it would work with a product from another manfacturer.
To have the Expesss provide more wireless coverage, you will need to connect it to the Superhub using a wired ethernet connection and configure it to extend that way.
