The NI 6014 only has bipolar (10V to -10V) mode available, not unipolar (10V to 0V). Look into our E Series boards for both unipolar and bipolar operation.

How to Off set the variable range ?

experts !
i have created a variable on ofiscper, and it gives a range for that. ( e.g. 001/2009 - 012/2009 ) . everything works good. but i have to show values for the same range for previous year too.. so i thought that off set should be working. But i am not gettting the correct results if i use off set to ( -1 ).
can we use offset for a variable whcih takes range ?
what are my options ?

Hi honar,
    1. Take that 0fiscper In Characteristic Restrictions box.
    2. Right click on it choose Restrict option. you will get a window select variabls option.
    3. You may have predefined variable. Take that into selection box.
    4.Take the Offset value -12.
Note : Make sure that your variable should be Intervel option in variable Represents.
This may resolve ur prob.

Newbie question: How do I set the input for a series of audio recordings to be different, if I only have a 2 channel interface?

I am using a 2 channel interface (Apogee Duet) and I can record a voice and guitar track fine. My question is how do I record a third audio track after the fact? It seems when I attempt to record an additional track, say bass for example, Logic treats it as though it is on input 1 or 2 (which hardware wise it is of course) and merges them in a sense. I don't know how to make it a seperate independant track, despite the fact that it was recorded through an input that I also used to record something else on a diferent track.

Thanks for the response. I know it sounds ridiculously basic. Yes I am creating a new track and selecting it. The third track appears in the arrange window, but changes to, for example, the third track affect the 1st. Doesn't matter if it's a 1/4 inch guitar or XLR mic. Yes I'm listening to the headphone output from the Duet.
I think the fundamental problem is my not understanding something about mono/stereo, or prehaps input and output settings. I just can't seem to find the appropriate controls/settings.

How can I set the input volume of my sound card before starting my sound acquisition ? ( well how to use the appropriate dll )

I have the Volume control application , but it works for reading.. and note to select record , to set input line volume !!

If you are using LabVIEW, you can use SO_Volume.vi (not present in all LV versions).
If you are using CVI, the best way is to use Microsoft Windows SDK functions, look at multimedia functions on msdn.com

Hi,
BOM is created with some component and item category.
In task list when you go to component, in normal case one selects and copies BOM over there by clicking component selection button.
Once BOM is copied over there the BOM item category will get copied. As it is BOM item category in Task list it is greyed and it will get copied automatically from BOM.
You specify item category required by you in IB01 or IB02 and then use that BOM in task list. Go to componenet tab and click component selection button. Once BOM is copied over there the BOM item category will get copied

AFAIK cameras offer their own built-in format utility for inserted SD cards. You should use that. Otherwise, refer to the manual that came with your camera to determine precisely how your SD cards need to be formatted to work properly. Personally, I'd suggest Partition Scheme: MBR, and Filesystem: FAT32.
Try to limit the number of formats you perform on the SD cards, though, as you're reducing their lifespan. I believe formatting causes re-writes to a portion of the SD card that has fewer read/write cycles than the rest of the card as a whole.

Hi Fred,
The answer to both questions is yes. In MAX, in the Channel Configuration Tab of your cFP-AI-100, you can specify your range to be one of a number of settings for current or voltage. To configure separate channels, simply select the channel and then select the range. See the attached screenshot for more details.

I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?

You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:

How do you set the expiration date of a secure zone?

I am trying to set up a form where a user can sign up for access to a secure zone for 1 year. How do I set the expiration date of the secure zone for them to expire one year after they sign up for it?
I have tried using a hidden field named "ZoneExpiry" (I have tried "ExpiryDate" as well) in the form and set its value attribute manually in the HTML (with the format 13-May-13), and the expiration date always ends up being 31-Dec-9999.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First create a attribute with the name readonly of type wdy_boolean and bind it read_only property of input field of which is you want to enable or disable.
Next go to Init method.
Set the readonly value as 'X'.
