How risk is to add photos from ‘Photo Stream’ direct to an album on iPad without ‘save to camera roll’ first?… sometimes it works sometimes not. I’m confused.
I got it… Select all photos from an album, then ‘share’ to iCloud… create a ‘Stream Name’ and email me… Is this the best way? I think it’s great… I didn’t get about the iTunes sync, I’m afraid, I already lost photos in that way…

Photo stream photos are not included in your backup, only camera roll photos are. Photo stream photos can only be accessed from an iOS device or computer that is signed into your iCloud account and has photo stream enabled. However, they only remain in iCloud for 30 days; if the photos are older than that they are no longer available to download.
If the photos were in the camera roll on your 3GS when you last backed it up, restoring the backup to another iPHone should recover them. If this is an iCloud backup, you'll need to do this before the backup is 180 days old or Apple will delete it.
If you need to restore the iCloud backup to your 4s, back up your 4s to your computer using iTunes, then restore the iCloud backup of your old phone to it, import the recovered photos to your computer (as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083), then restore your phone to the iTunes backup your made earler to recover your data. -

Photos in the camera roll are those which (in most cases) are taken on the device, the photostream album contains photos which have been synced from photostream in the cloud, which can include photos from your camera roll as well as from other devices using photostream. Photostream photos can be lower resolution than the same photos in the camera roll.
Photos in photostream can be edited and saved to other albums. -

If you want to keep any photo stream photos on your PC, be sure to copy them to a separate folder (outside of the photo stream folder) before unchecking photo stream.

You have to have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Mac to create an iCloud account. However, if you tell your friend to create a shared photo stream and turn on Public Website, he/she will then be able to send you a link that will allow you to view the photos on the internet using your web browser. You would not be able to comment on the photos as this requires an iCloud account, but you would be able to view them.

You can just import them using your usb cable without buying anything, as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083. The iPhoto iOS app is for editing your photos, it won't import them to your PC.

After your devices are up-to-date and you have set up your iCloud account, it’s easy to turn on My Photo Stream on any of your devices:
PC: Open the iCloud Control Panel for Windows and select the checkbox for Photos (Photo Stream in iCloud Control Panel 2.x). You can click the Options button to verify that My Photo Stream is enabled and adjust the settings. Be sure to click Apply when done.
