How to change/set the browser title from web forms (XP platform with SP2)

I am running Form9i, I have set the browser windows title from Web Forms dynamically by using following method. However, when my PC has changed to XP, the function seems not work. Does anybody have same problem and how to solve it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Add the Javascript code to your baseHTML file. For example,
if you are using the basejini.htm:
<HEAD><TITLE>%pageTitle%</TITLE>

</HEAD>
In web Forms , call the javascript function with WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT built.
For Example the following code set the browser title with username . web.show_document('javascript:Change('||'"'|| get_application_property(USERNAME)||'"'||')','_self');

Btw, is it possible for me to set parameter "separateFrame=True" in formsweb.cfg and set the form window title by using SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY(FORMS_MDI_WINDOW,TITLE,v_msg_string)?

OR CAN I SET IT DYNAMICALLY BY PASSING AS A PARAMETER

Hi,
It is possible to set the Document title for PDF output. Open the Reports Property Inspector, under PDF Document Taxonomy, you can set the Document title. But this does not show up in the browser when you open the document.

answer is "not really". You can configure AppSizer to a defined
size, then with the mouse pointer double-arrowed on the "edge" of a

But there is no re-scaling of the window contents, if that is
what you mean, so the smaller window may now require scrolling.

I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?

You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:

Sorry. I don't mean page tabs, but the order in which form fields are selected by the tab key. In simple html there is a value called tabindex and I was just wondering if there is a way to assign this order within a portal form. I have basically recreated the form with a custom layout and adjusted the table structure to force the order I was looking for, but it would be a nice add for future versions.

Simply open and the file and do a Save, or Save As with the original name.
Surprisingly, the default is to not keep the original EXIF data.

Setting the Spool Title from Information Broadcaster

I have a BI 7.0 SP 15 environment. We are trying to use the Information Broadcaster to setup a schedule of a few hundred reports to be sent to the printer. The problem is we need to be able to set the title line of the spooler, but I can seem to find any parameters directly in the Information Broadcaster that will set the title line. Every time I send a report to the printer the title line of the spool is blank. Does anyone know of a way to set this parameter? Is there a way of modifying an ABAP program to set this parameter? I know there are way of programmatically setting this parameter, I just dont know which program to modify to get this to work.

No, you can't change the way this built-in command works. You can either process it later on in Excel, or you would need to use a custom-made script and an Action to collect the data in the format you want in Acrobat and then export it.

I downloaded a fillable PDF I want to e-mail now, but I want to remove the "SUBMIT" button that is added on for forms central.

When you convert a web form that you've created in FormsCentral and download as a PDF, you have the option of not including a submit button. If you created a PDF form with the desktop version of Acrobat, it won't have a submit button unless you upload it to the FormsCentral service and enable it for submission.
Still, you can remove it in Acrobat by first saving a non-enabled version by selecting: File > Save A Copy
and opening the copy (it doens't happen automatically) and deleting the button.

How to get server hostname and port from web form

I need to find out server hostname and port number
from 9i form.
That is if the form was called via:
http://myserver.com:1234/f90servlet?form=test,
i would like to call some
GET_XXX_PROPERTY(SERVER_HOSTNAME) that would return
myserver.com
and
GET_XXX_PROPERTY(SERVER_PORT) that would return
1234
or alternatively
GET_XXX_PROPERTY(SERVER_URL) that would return
complete URL, so that i can parse it myself.
Does anything like this exist? If not,would be
possible to get that information from any Java
function via java importer?

I'd add the code as a Java Bean in Forms and get this information from the Forms request URL.

How do we customize the default CKEditor for Web Form Editor in UCM 10gR3?

Our customers are using the Web Form Editor for some WYSIWYG changes. The form has too many options and they would like to limit what the users can do. We have attempted to make changes to the following files to customize the CKEditor for Web Form Editor and cannot see our changes reflected after saving/restarting Content Server.

Posting the answer:
You need to make the changes to the webforms component inside the ~\custom\FormEditor\templates\fe_config.js file. Then propagate your changes using the Administration > Actions > Publish layout files page.
One more quick question - where do we limit the Styles, Fonts, Sizes, Colors?
in the same file we added lines similar to the following to limit the fonts,
styles....

The Poster Frame image will not display when browsing the website in iPhone nor will the image display on the cached 8 image browser window in Google Chrome internet browser. To be clear:
Put GetValueOrDefault on every nullable field used inside your 'TotalDue_Compute' sub
You don't need to define 'TotalDue' as Nullable anymore
