How to create a Help page from a file

Hello,
I have a new APEX application and someone made a nice help document using MS Word.
How could I inlcude that file into a Help Page, or some ideas on how this could be seen by the users?

Hi,
Apex has a facility whereby you can create a context sensitive help page facility.

With your help document, save the section relevant to a page as a separate document and save it as a filtered web page. Edit this document in a plain text editor and cut and paste this into the help text for the page.
When you select help from the navigation bar, then this help text will be shown for the current page. To make it even fancier, you can define the link for the navigation bar to show the help page as a popup, so that you don't loose the current context in the application.

I can guess that it is not
exactly possible since I looked at the forums and documantation etc. but
couldnt find anything similar than this link; "http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/htmldb/howtos/tabular_form.h
t". But this is a very common need and I thought that there must be at least a workaround?
How can I talk or write to Html Db development team about this since any ideas, this is very important item in a critial project?

How to create package and import from jar file?

I am writing a software and I am not sure how to create a package for the classes.
Say I have two classes in the same directory as follows:
testA.java
==========
package AB;
public class testA
public static void main(String[] args){
     testB myB = new testB();
     System.out.println("A test");

     System.out.println("B constructor");
both file compile without the package heading;
both file compile using: javac -classpath .\ *.java
Question 1:
I cannot run testA by: java -classpath .\ testA
I think it is a syntax error. What is the correct one?
If I run testA by: java testA
The only output I get is: A test
But I am expecting: B constructor /n A test
What went wrong?
Question 2:
I need to use APIs of another software. I have downloaded a .jar file (xxx.jar) with all the classes in it. And I have put "import xxx.*;" in my source file. But the compiler complains about the importing. What is the right way to copmile it?
I have read a couple of tutorials but they don't answer my question.
(I am using windows2000 and don't have the classpath variable.)

Try moving testA out of the package and importing 'AB.*;'
If you have:
./testA.class
./AB/testb.class
Then to execute testA from ./ type: java -cp . testA

Creating a book page from a file created in Illustrator

I created a file in Illustrator and want to make it a page in a book made in InDesign. Is there a certain format that I can export the Illustrator file as to open and edit it in InDesign? Thanks!

I think Kathryn was asking whether an Illustrator file could be placed into a book -- standing as it's own page, not placed in an Indesign file -- and it can't. She may not have phrased it clearly. The explanation "You can place an Illustrator file into Indesign..." would not have cleared that up for her, so I don't blame her for asking again. "You can place an Illustrator file into an Indesign DOCUMENT without exporting anything" would have been more clear.

I'm sending an email out and would like to tell the team where a graphic file (illustrator file) is located. I've seen in other emails where it comes in a form of a link (i.e., file://localhost/Volumes/creative/Active/VISUAL/.....20ENDCAP%20-%20JULY-AUG%2012.ai); click on this link and takes one directly to the graphic file. I've tried control clicking on the file (MAC platform) and didn't see anything remote indicating a link.
Does anyone has insight to this question?

Do I understand correctly that you'd like to extract two pages from a PDF, and then send them via email?
To extract pages from a PDF, you need to use Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can try it for free for 30 days. Please see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
I'm not sure what you mean by "enlarge" it. When your recipient views the PDF, they can enlarge the view (zoom in on the PDF) by choosing options from the View menu in Acrobat or Reader.

the requirement is that whenever we click on the button created on the form, it opens a jsp page.

In portlet project, to navigate between pages, you should not use the URL property to link to a page. Instead, portlets use navigation via action handling. You use the Page Navigation editor to set up links to pages; that is, the navigation editor sets the action property.
Here is an example to hyperlink ans button to open a new page:
# From within the IDE, create a new portlet project. This action creates the project and one page, PortletPage1.jsp.
# Create a second portlet page, called PortletPage2.jsp, for the project.
# Drop a Hyperlink component onto the first portlet page, PortletPage1. (You can drop the Hyperlink on the page in the Design window or on the PortletPage1 node in the Outline window.) Change the Hyperlink's text property to Next Page.
# Drop a Button component (found in the Basic section of the Palette) onto the second portlet page, PortletPage2.
# Open the Page Navigation Editor. It displays the two pages (PortletPage1.jsp and PortletPage2.jsp) of the application.

I want to create some help pages regarding to different applications in EP. Can I have a contextual help? Can I use a help service? I want one help button which shows a help page referring to the application I am displaying.

if you need this for your own developed iViews, here http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/50/bb174082fe1961e10000000a155106/frameset.htm the standard way to implement the help for a component is described.
You call the help from the iView's context menu.

1. Hope you have placed the custom jsp page (which you have downloaded from server) under "jdevhome\jdev\myhtml\OA_HTML" directory ?
2. Try to run the custom jsp page from Jdeveloper directly and check whether its working properly or not ?
(i.e. add jsp page to any project in Jdeveloper then right click on jsp page and select Run xxx.jsp)
3. If page errors out then custom jsp page seems require few parameters to run it successfully. Pass all requied parameters and test.
4. There is no problem in the way you are calling jsp page from OAF page.

<<< The only way to do this is with JS. You can use jQuery's .load() method
to load your cart into the registration layout. You'll have to do some
parsing of that cart table to obtain things like product name, quantity etc
and present this in some kind of summary. Parsing tables in jQuery is not a
nice task, so if you're going to embark onto producing this kind of summary
you may want to get rid off the table from the cart and simple throw in
some divs and tags which will help you parse the cart nicely. That mans
you'll have to construct the layout for the cart though using JS.
Example of alternative cart layout:

You can see that this is much nicer to read and you can then construct your
own data structure that will hold this info and render it it whichever way
you want to. You can even write it back as a table where each product is in
its own row. You may want to look at something that gives you template.
model, controller like ember.js.
Anyway, I hope that helps somewhat.
