when creating BP in the Interaction Center there exists the possibility in Customizing CRM->Interaction Center WebClient ->Master Data->Define Account Identification Profiles it is possible to add a Grouping ID for the creation of all different types of BP. But we have the requirement to use different kind of groupings for the different BP we create (one grouping is not enogh).
We have added the field 'Grouping' in the configuration and the value in the weblclient is put into the data collection but afterwards something is happening. As the customizing is without value the standard grouping is used as the wrong grouping is assigned to create the BP.
Does anybody know where I have to change the coding to change this?

OliverHi, we have found the solution. In component ICCMP_BP_DETAIL we have redefined View BuPaCreate. In the class ZL_CRMCMP_B_BUPACREATE0_IMPL we have redefined method CREATE_PARTNER and changed the following coding:

BO xi 3.1 u2013 schedule a template for multiple reports with different column

I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to BO, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Now I want to schedule a single template with different parameters for all reports in BO, or create a single template with lot of parameters for all reports. My question is how I might use one template to create multiple reports with different column orders in the reports?
For example, client A has the following column order in their report: firstName, LastName, DateBirth, SSN. Client B has the following column order in their report: SSN, DateBirth, LastName, FirstName. Can I use one template to create these multiple reports?

The only approach I can think of is to create a template report which uses variables
For each column you would need to variable
v_columnAName and v_columnAValue
v_columnAName would have a if statement in it
=if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";NameOf([firstName]);if([client]="clientB";NameOf([SSN]);NameOf([lastName]));
v_columnA would have a if statement in it
=if([client]="clientA" or [client]="clientC";[firstName];if([client]="clientB";[SSN],[lastName]));
This would only work when you had a small set of clients.
This might be more managable if it was done in the universe

Design a single template for multiple reports with different column order

I need to migrate the existing reports from SQL Server Reporting Services to Crystal Report 2008, and the column order in the report is very important to the clients since clients have existing code to ingest these reports into their database. Thanks in advance.-As I mentioned you can find Template Field object in Insert menu of crystal report Designer 2008.
As soon as you select Template Field object you will be able to see a box beside ur mouse cursor. Drag and drop this box at required place. Now when you place this object in report you will get some thing like this "<TemplateField1>" listed under Formula Fields tree. Double click "<TemplateField1>" formula to add your conditions.
-I have not tested it for large amount of Customers. However as the number of customer increases the number of conditions will get increased.
For the customer that want the same ordering of columns you can put those customers under one condition.
for Example...

-What do you mean be 40 columns? Do you mean 40 fields or you want to show 40 columns in report? Please elaborate.

I would like to create a report with different page sizes, it's possible to do it with diadem?
When I change the layout parameters, changes afect to all sheets...
Is there a way to change page size individually for each sheet?

You can use the DocStart and DocEnd commands along with the PicPrint command to spool multiple print commands to the same output PDF file using the direct printer approach. This should enable you to programmatically specify the page size differently for each sheet that you add to the print job.

How to save each section report into different excel sheet?
I have a report in which there are 4 sections north south west east now i need to save north in excel sheet 1 , south in sheet2, west in sheet3, and east in sheet4. under each section there is list report.
Please let me know is it possible are not if possible let me no the procedure to be followed.

1. Create four users: east, west, north, south
2. Create a profile that filters on the variable you used for the section/break
3. Publish the report
3.1 Set users created above to be the enterprise recipients
3.2 Add personalization (the profile created above)
3.3 Check the Deliver objects to each user in Destinations
(3.4 You could use %SI_OWNER% to get a nice suffix to the report name)
This should cause four reports to be created, each with its own "personalized" contents. -

cheta.For which functinality you are trying to create VC with services.
This is mostly used in SEM BCS.
You have to create cube similar path like normal cube, but select in the properties virtual cube, services.
There is a standard FM which connects the Virtual cube to the required cube in BCS. ( this is done by BCS data basis generation function) and we have to do nothing for FM.
In BCS we use virtual cube only for reporting purpose, since standard BCS cube cannot be used for reporting. hence what we do is create another virtucal cube very smiliar to BCS cube.
Then both the Virtual cube and BCS cube are connected by standard FM. -

The Catalog is the third level of table-like database object qualification as in "Catalog.Schema.Table". For SQLServer the qualification scheme is "Database.Owner.Table" and I would be surprised if they reported anything for the current connections getCatalog() method call.
What many people do is avoid table qualification altogether by setting the connection's context in a database proprietary manner and then keeping the SQL as clean as possible. For many ODBC and JDBC drivers this can be set in the configuration. For MS SQLServer you can also execute a "USE dbname" statement on the connection to avoid table qualification. -

I got a lot of math stuff to work on and it would be great if I could put in two angles and voila my triangle appears for me to resize as need be.

In PLD u can do it by picking first 3 digit of itemcode from database and assign that database label with different code...
But here u want different color for different group right ?
then u have work more on PLD coding....
If group are fixed/static then it almost possible ...if dynamic then update yr PLD

1. Define the Business object type
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>Define Object types for Transaction reference
2. Assign Business Object Types to Transaction Types
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>Assign Business Object Types to Transaction Types
3. Implement a BADI - CRM_COPY_BADI_EXTERN.Check Implementation CRM_COPY_BADI_BILLDO for more information on the coding for referencing the ECC Billing document.
Goto SPRO>CRM>Transaction>Settings for Complaints>Integration>Trnsaction Referencing>BAdI: Create Complaint with Reference to External Transaction.
but still do not know,
1) if I should pre-replicate billing documents into CRM ?
2) Or, the system uses the RFC to find these documents in ECC to create reference?

How to create Rules with Flex Field mapping in the bpm worklist
I Have created a flex field label and was able to map to the flex field attributes .
But when i try to create a rules , I don't see the label or the flex attributes in the task payload .
Can someone please help is understanding how to create Rules with Flex Field mapping in the bpm worklist .
Even I am also searching for any scripts which will take the flex fields prompts and can directly create a label in the bpm worklist .

Select Variants button and display. In the next screen, enter a variant name, (If not existing , press Create to create new one), else click on Change.
Now the selection screen will display with a button "Variant Attributes" at the top.
Click on that button.
In the next screen, go to the selection variable column of the date field. Press F4 or drop down and select 'D' for date maintenance.
In the column "Name of Variable (Input Only Using F4)" press F4 or drop down, select whichever kind of date calculation you want and save the variant.
Now whenever you run the prgrm with this variant, date will be displayed by default.
