How to fix load image from another window?

I have set up a page with a button when clicked, it open 2 windows on top,
the right one first then pop up the left onload.
Left window works as a menu, when clicks the thumbnail image on the left window
will display an enlarged image on the right window.
When browser preference set to block popup window
it will only popup the right window, won't popup the left window (menu) onLoad.
I've try to set the behavoir to pop up both left and right window onClick,
it open 2 window but lost the function of display image on right window.
It display the large image on the window underneath instead (the button page)
I know it sounds confusing but hope someone can help to solve the problem

Loader will load images from another server, but then we get error on Bitmap operation

I'm developing an app that currently is using Loader to get images from another server. This shouldn't currently work since we are still waiting for the owner of that server to put a crossdomain file in place. However, it does work -- sort of .
Loader can load the images fine, without an error. But then the app has a feature in which we are making a larger duplicate of the image to display in a sidebar, we do this in this manner:
var myBitmap:Bitmap = Bitmap(loader.content);
and when this runs we get a Flash player security error 2122, sandbox violation.
So while I'm hoping all this will fix itself when the crossdomain.xml file is put in place, I'm confused as to why we only get the sandbox error when we make a Bitmap from the image, and not when we initially try to retrieve the image.
(Incidentally: is there a better way to make a "copy" of an image loaded by a Loader, and then change its width and height for simultaneous display in another part of the stage? I don't need to change its actual dimensions -- I just need to change its display width and height.)

The sandbox allows viewing, not editing from another server without a crossdomain.
So, when you try to load it up, it loads it, but "read-only" and gives you an error when you try to "edit" it by making a new Bitmap out of it.
This should resolve itself once that crossdomain is in place.

I just realized I should clarify my statement a little more.
When you load images from another server without a crossdomain, it allows the load for display only. When you try to load data, it will fail. This is because, XML data, or some other type of data is editable by default, and images are only viewable by default. So, the image fails when you try to convert it into an editable form.

How to stop swap image from rescrolling window

I have a hot spot on a picture with an onclick behavior which
swaps the image in a certain slice to another image.
This is to be published on the web.
However, the picture is too large to fit on the screen, and
the hot spot is low on the image, requiring the user to scroll down
to see and thus click on it. When the spot is clicked, the picture
rescrolls to the top. How do i keep the picture to stay where it
is, so that it doesnt appear to move after the click?

How could I load image via a Form when it is in runtime by not using default block

How to copy images from another MC in reversed order??

Hi everyone,
I'm new to AS3 and have been fighting and searching for a solution to this problem for a week now, and I'm VERY close!
I crated a MC holding of a series of images (about 50) and I jump around in it using plenty AS3 scripts (most of which I don't fully understand yet, but I'm working on that to! )
I had to find a way to "rewind" (= play backwards) the MC. Since there is a stop(); command in almost every frame, prevFrame does not work and if I put that in a loop, it goes WAY to fast (but worked).. So I could think of only one way...
Create a new (reverserd) MC with the same image sequence ald reverse it manually and play that one.
This all works fine (very proud of it ).
Now my question:
To get this to work for multiple image sequences, I have to load all images twice (once in MC_1 and again in MC_2 and select them and reverse them).
Not a big one, unless you want to create MANY of those SWF's...
Is it possible to load the 50 images of the first MC in reverse into the second MC dynamically? JUST the images, noting else.
extra info: the MC_2 is already in the lib(empty) and placed on the stage.
something like:

I cannot direct you in the loading of the images approach, it will be too complicated, and will probably not work anyways... when you move away from a frame that has dynamic content, you lose the content. So basically, there is nothing practical in taking that approach.
I do niot understand what the problem will be with the enterFrame/prevFrame approach. If everything you can do with the mouse is already used (which I doubt) by the first mc, then there is nothing else you can do with this file. You probably just need to rethink your control scheme. You should search Google for "AS3 slideshow tutorial", and to lighten up your design, add "XML" in that search.

I was successful to start a silent installation of Oracle9iR2 using a responsefile on my System RHEL 3. But the installation ends soon and a wrong successful install message:
Error :*** Alert: A configuration script needs to be run as root before installation can proceed. Please leave this window up, go run /opt/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/root.sh as root from another window, then come back here and click OK to continue. ***
The installation of Oracle9i Database was successful.
I use -ignorePatchConflicts for ignoring the patch conflicts. But How do I handle these issues. Where I have to run root.sh ... etc in teh Non Interactive Install.
I am scripting solution for non interactive install and manual intervention to run these root.sh shell scripts at different points of install is not a good idea as it wont help me automate the install.
Please let me know if anyone has solved this problem with -silent install.

There is nothing special to do - you execute the statement from your program just like any other SQL statement. The only thing to be aware of are the privilege/permission issues:
When loading from a file on a client computer:
READ CLIENT FILE privilege is also required for the database user.
Read privileges are required on the directory being read from.
The allow_read_client_file database option must be enabled.
The read_client_file secure feature must be enabled.
Revoking these privileges is also the only way you can prevent a user from executing the statement.

I need to load thumbnail images from BLOB to multiple markers' infowindow in Google map . I have implemented Google map in APEX. I load the data suchas text for every marker's infowindow from Oracle database table with PL/JSON, and infowindow works fine. Could anyone give me a suggestion or example so I know how to load images to javascript?

Loading image from jars only once in oracle forms 10g

I have an oracle forms 10g application which loads image from a jar. Every time i click on a button "A" that loads the image "image" on another button "B" in the same screen, a message is displayed in the java console "Loaded image: jar:https://+IP+/forms/java/+myjar+.jar!/image.gif". So after 10 clicks, i get the same message displayed 10 times. In the form, i've called:
SET_CUSTOM_PROPERTY(p_object_name, 1, 'IMAGE_NAME_ON', '/'||p_image_name);My question is the following:
- is there a way to load this image once and use it later without having to load it every time i clik on "A"? if yes, how?

Photos from another windows account have appeared on iPod

I've recently found my images from my windows account have appeared on my mothers ipod despite it being synced to another windows account where the images are not even accessable due to the permissions.
To ensure that my problem is clear, my images are stored on my account named "John" on my windows desktop PC. My mothers ipod is synced to the account "Mum", where the images are not even accessible from due to it being a limited account.
The images cannot be deleted on the ipod, and have appeared around two days ago, despite the ipod not being connected to the computer. I can only add the images to another album, or share them.
In itunes, the checkbox on the photos tab for it to sync it deselected, and so it's not even like they should be syncing any photos at all.

Even if we don't work out how it has happened, how can I just remove the images? It's vital I remove them as soon as possible as some of the photos were sent to me from my girlfriend and really aren't to be viewed by my 55 year old mother.
