How to Remove Blank spaces in the text elements for a smartform

Hi All,
Can any one please help me out to remove the blank spaces in the text elements.
We are printing Labels using the Zebra Printer and we have rotated the windows to 90 degrees.
We are able to see out text and barcodes. But the issues is when we are printing the label. We are getting spaces in the Text and in the Text elements fields. I have tried to give &g_name(C)&. But it is not working even i worked with style sheet spaces no luck.
Currently out text and fields are printing like this

material number
1111 -001 -000
They should print like
shriyan
1111-001-000
According to the ZEBRA suggestions we are using the font helve.
Plase help us it is very urgent.

Hi,
Just use Condense g_name inside the program lines.
Just to see how it behaves put a hard breakpoint.
Break Username. and check the condense statement.
condense <your field> no-gaps.
Create program lines ahead of printing. give the field you want to condense in the input and output parameters of the program lines.
Use condense inside the program lines.

It only shows the product name in the browser. But if I look at the source code of my page he created 61 lines in response to this code, where a line is the product name and the other 60 have nothing.
I know how to remove these lines that the ATG creates no content because my project is full of these empty lines.
Anyone ever had this problem and could help me?

3- Always use TAB instead of using SPACEBAR whie writing source code.
4 - From JSP 2.1 onwards we have a page directive trimwhitespaces ( see if that works , i was not able to ), google for it for more info
5 - You can modify your build scripts to remove white spaces from jsps while building EAR.(complex though, as you may not want to trim all white space.)
6 - modifying the deployment descriptor.

How can I remove blank spaces in a text field? Some text fields have a lot of blank fields that need to be removed so that I can report only on the text.

You may use this statement to read the text elements:
DATA: i_reptx TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF textpool WITH HEADER LINE.
READ TEXTPOOL (reports) INTO i_reptx. " reports is the report name.

Problem in transporting the text elements for user exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_002

Hi All,
I am facing a problem in transporting the text element (text symbol) for the exit EXIT_SAPLV09A_002. It is implemented and transported but the text elements are not transported and even if I try to delete them and then create them again, on activation it doesn't prompts for TO and it version its shows it as local object. I have tried to manually assign the TO by using limu as id of program and rept as type and SAPLXV09 as the name of the object but still it doesn't allows as an error message comes prompting local object cannot be assigned to TO. Kindly suggest solution this problem.

Hello ,
In the Quality after you run the report check in the layout option>display text elements> variables and check what value is displayed for the use exit variable , if it is correct then problem may be in the selection you gave when you run the report if the user exit variable value is wrong , then set a break point in the code and run the report from rsrt and check where the error is.

PI removing blank spaces at the end of the lines in a plain text file

I have an interface that transfers a file via FTP. I defined both the sender and receiver to transfer either Text or Binary but the interface removes every blank space I have after the last character. The file is a fixed lenght file.
Example:
Original file:
Hello world(space)(space)(space)(space)(space)(space)(space)(space)(eol)
where (space) is the space character and (eol) is the end of line char.
File after it is received.
Hello world(eol)
I already defined the parameter Row.fieldFixedLenghts with 10164 which is the lenght of the lines of the file.
Any ideas why it may be happening?

I tried both the parameters:
xml.fieldContentFormatting
structure.fieldContentFormatting
The received file still has the problem. All the blank spaces are cleared out.
The file is a plain text file not an XML file. May this be the issue?

How to remove blank space left from Images Word import

Hi all,
I'm working on a document which has been imported from Word, because of the conversion process a lot of images (that where pasted directly from Powerpoint in Word) didn't get converted properly and ended up in different part of the resulting Pages document.
The issue is that the images were found somewhere else, but the space they were occupying in the document was left ..sometimes in that space I find a squared frame which I can easily remove but some other times I just find a blank space which is impossible to remove or select.
This results in breaking the text for 10-13 lines. It is impossible to make the text filling this space. I can assure I cannot select this area with any tool (also by selecting 'make master objects selectable') and Im using the 'show invisibles' mode.
Please any suggestion or advise?

I had to put it on wupload because the file is 77MB, sorry!!!
..and I dunno why...the whole document is 264 pages and is 77,8 MB I thought that only 17 pages were less...
I think thisis another BIG ISSUE thie FILE:.I think there is something hidden in it which is subtracting space...
Actually whne I imported the original document from Word it became 100MB, then I got rid of all the images but still 77MB, in word it was just 12MB with images..
Any more idea/suggestions about this size issue please?

in some of the footnotes there are some citation I imported using Endnote x5, but this is not affecting too much the size, as before these citations when I imported the document were not

in a complex report ,when there are only 20 pages,and linecount is 65(2) ,in the last page only 27 lines are filled and data is completed.then blank lines are printing from 27th line to 63 line.then end of page is triggering.

These statements allow you to specify whether you want to output blank lines or not. Use SET BLANK LINES ON to output blank lines or SET BLANK LINES OFF to suppress them.

I have also done some Googling and have found some links related to selecting and exporting regions, which I have tried, but this is what I noticed.
It does not work when I select certain instruments, eg Synthesizer - Soundscape - Subtle Shiftscape or Synthesizer - Lead - Screamlead. I believe that what is happening is that those sounds tend to have some additional length to it. No matter where I cut my region, the additional length still get added. I don't have that problem if I don't select those instruments.
Anybody has any ideas?

I am using both - GarageBand 10.0.2 and GarageBand '11.

Yep, I've deselected all regions. Still no luck.
My answer above was in answer to your "This time GB felt I only needed the first 4 measures of the song, even though I defined an entire Region over the length of the song and selected everything with Ctrl-A..."
You should be able to export the complete song, if you deselect all regions, and select all of the song using the cycle region with "Export Cycle region only" enabled, or with "Export Cycle region only" disabled, nothing selected, and the end-of-song marker correctly set.
However, this will not get rid of the trailing empty bars.
Reimport the bounced song to a new Ringtone project and trim it and save it as a tone, or to a regular project and add it to the Loop Library.
Find the AIFF file of the loop in the Loop library - it will be installed in your User Library in your Home folder
~/Library/Audio/Apple Loops/User Loops/SingleFiles/

I have tried replicating your requirement at my end using Xtreme Sample database below are the steps which I have followed.
1)I have customer Id field,Customer name field field placed in details section.
2)Click on Section Expert
3)Click on Details.
4)Check the second option as "Suppress(No Drill Down)".In front of that there is one icon as "X-2".Double click on that icon.
5) Type the below formula
     if {Customer.Customer ID}=157 and {Customer.Customer Name} ="Aruba
     Sport" then true
    else if {Customer.Customer ID}=148 and {Customer.Customer Name}
     ="Koala Road Bikes" then true
     else false
6)Save and close.
With this formula where condition matches the specific criteria it will suppress the section and there will be no blank spaces.The rest of the data will be shown.

How do I get rid of the blank space at the bottom of the new Firefox menu?

The new firefox 4 has a different menu system. IT has blank space at the bottom wiht just a plus sign that opens new tabs. I can get that from the + sign by the tabs and don't want it or the rest of the blank space on the bar. I need all the space in the main window I can get. How do I get rid of this?
Found my own answer, disable Conduit Engine toolbar, whatever the heck that is. Why it's enabled to start with is beyond me.

These are unrelated questions/statements.
Space before and space after a paragraph are controled in the Text Inspector, as you've found out.
Pages will create a page break whenever there is no room for another line on the page. That break can come anywhere in a paragraph.
You may be thinking of Widow and Orphan prevention, and the other Pagination controls, found under the More button in the Text Inspector. (If that's what you found, then thanks for the refresher! I hadn't been to that pane for awhile, and had forgotten the variety of pagination controls available.

That's not a project. You're inside an multicam angle editor. You need to edit the multicam clip into a project. That's where you edit it.
