And it won't by design and intention since you are not syncing your iPhone with your iTunes library on your computer.
If you have authorized the computer with your iTunes account with iTunes, with your iPhone connected - at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.
For contacts and calendar events, is Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 available?

Nothing in my iphone 4s will open. how can i fix this?

my iphone4s apps, contacts, reminders, texts, internet, settings everthing will not open. as i click on icon to open it, it immediaelty closes. how can i fix this problem. before i had this problem, my facebook would not open. so i turned off my phone and turned it back on and when i did all my contacts were erased. the facebook app did work after that. i would like to avoid this problem again. thanks!

Thanks Jeff, I was not aware that a template could be multi-page. (All the existing templates were 1 page)
But it worked, saving me some steps. When I was finished I renamed the document, and locked it.
Then tried to save it but could not because it was locked. I closed it, went to my Spread Sheet Folder ,
to find it, it was not there. The Finder could not find it either.
So I start over again.
I opened up Numbers and it showed my personal Numbers template folder, it contained both my new
original 4 page template and the vanished saved document!
I tried to delete the template containing these document data and could not - I had to go to the Library/Application Support/Numbers to physically remove it from this folder. Then I started over again. I Finally found out how to make it work: I can now "save as", and then lock, and it will go to place where I want it to be saved and locked.
The secret is: Click on the document title in the menu bar, and it opens up "Save as...", which works the same as in OS 10.4.11, and you can pick the place you want for saving. Once done that, you can then lock the document in the same pull down menu, and then close it.
I also found later that I can delete a template from its folder, by letting Numbers open the templates,
clicking on the one I want to remove, then go to the "Numbers Menu/File/Move to...", select "Desktop"
and from there the selected template can then be thrown into the Trash from there.
It appears now that the real fault of the Numbers software is that the "Save as" command is not available in the "Edit" or "File" pull-down menus, but hidden behind the title of the document.

Run Verify/Repair Disk.
You should have at least 15% free space available on your HD; if not, need to delete some things.
You may need more RAM. One way to get an idea whether more RAM will help or not, is to check Page outs and Swap used. First, use your Mac as you normally would, the longer the better (checking this right after starting up isn’t likely to show you anything). After you’ve used your Mac for awhile (again, the longer the better), go to Applications > Utilities > open Activity Monitor > in the top menu at right, select All Processes in the drop down menu > near the bottom of the window click on System Memory. If Page outs is more that about 10% of Page ins, and/or Swap used is large, chances are good that adding RAM will help. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1342

I'm trying to uninstall firefox and reinstall it as it keeps freezing, but it wont close and so I cant reinstall it. How can I fix this?

For the last fortnight or so, firefox kept freezing, but it would always fix itself within a minute or so. I did a computer scan and everything was clean and I reduced the number of tabs I had open to try and speed things up, but even when I had only one tab open, it would freeze. Today, it froze and hasnt fixed itself even after 5 hours, and after ive restarted my laptop. A message keeps popping up about 'a script has stopped working' and whatever I press makes no change (stop script, or continue). Im trying to uninstall and reinstall firefox, but I can't uninstall it until the programme is closed. But I cant close it as it is completely frozen. How can I fix this?

Usually uninstalling and reinstalling only helps if the program files are damaged. When the issue if an add-on or setting, then you wouldn't expect to see any change. (I am assuming that you do not remove all your personal data, as that would blow away your bookmarks.)
