Is there an app that I can use with apple TV to mirror my older Mac Book Pro mid 2009? If not is there a software patch that will allow me to mirror ?
In my own opinion it didn't work well enough and I don't use it, I have fairly high standards when it comes to stuff like this. But from what I can gather it seems like it's the best of the rest! many here have said they like it.
There used to be a trial period, but I couldn't say whether that's still available.

GoodReader is one I use, but there are many others. Alternatively, if you have a Mac with OS X 10.7 you could use Pages on the computer and iPod and sync with iCloud (some other apps use iCloud for synching as well). Or you can just email a text document to yourself and open that on your iPod.

Nope, it either needs to be plugged in or turned on with the power button.

There are 100s of apps in the App Store that will load local maps onto your device. Some are free, some aren't.

Are you trying to watch YouTube from a web browser on iPad or from the YouTube app?
Should be running fine from the YouTube app on the iPad unless you have a slow connection.
Our family uses DSL (4-5 Mbps) and we stream video both with iPads, computers and TV with,mostly, no issues like buffering or data degradation/pixellation. It all depends on how much traffic there is on the Internet at any one specific time.
Heavy Internet traffic on different days at different hours of the day, from your ISP, can also be a factor in slowing down your Internet connection. -

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

I have got a 13 inch MacBook Pro and it got stuck in a loop so I switched it off by holding the power button down and now when I switch it on the apple logo appears then I get a blank slot at the bottom of the screen then the circle appears and rotates and then it switches off again, I have tried starting it again with the system disc that came with it when it was new but it makes no difference. Is there a sequence that I can use to force it to start.

Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked. -
