Can't create new Apple ID without credit card!!!!

I've seen older posts where it was possible to create an Apple ID without a credit card. I would like to set up the kids with Apple IDl's so they can download free games and not have them sync on my apple products because they are using my Apple ID ( even though I have unchecked all the sync options, they still seem to show up on my ipad/iphone, but that's another story).
I have tried today, without any luck. I don't want to have to attach a credit card to a kids account..makes no sense..any ideas?

i created an apple id but i can not download any thing it tells me to verify the account but i do not have a credit card so when it comes to the payment time i saw it on thhe net that clik on the none button if do not have a credit card but the none button is not shown either what to do?

Did you follow the instructions on the page that you posted from when you created the account ? If not the you won't get the 'none' option on it, you will need to create a new account.
To create a new account without giving credit card details, if you are currently logged into an account then log out of it. Then find a free app in the store and click on its free 'price' :
And then click on 'create Apple id' on the popup that you get :

Maybe that option is not available in your country. It works in the USA
