I dont get it, what do i do?
So I installed iTunes (6.0.1) and it was working for a while and then one day it just stopped loading. Nothing would happen, no error screen. I opened Quicktime and it appeared for a second and exited by itself. I went to a person's complaint and I found out that the problem I am experiencing is "the flash." I followed the method from the link that was there, and it didn't solve my problem. Any other suggestions?

Then you have a Serious Problem.
The Apple ID and Password that was Originally used to Activate the iDevice is required
If you do not have that information you will not be able to use the Device.

If the email hasn't arrived after a few hours and isn't in a spam filter, you need to ask Apple to reset them. To do this, click here and pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submit this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Sounds like you have not verified the email address you put in for your iCloud account. You can check it at http://appleid.apple.com/
Or you can turn off iCloud backup in Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup. -
why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

I set up my iPad 2 on my cousins MacPc, I dont have a computer or iTunes. Can I download my own apps and songs now or do i need to do eveything from his iTunes? Do I need my own iTunes account to get apps? Help I dont really know what or how to do it.
Install iTunes on your Acer and you can back up the iPhone. Or back it up to iCloud. If you do not back it up you can get it unlocked, but you will lose all of your content.

Even after unlocking I'm not sure it will work on Straight Talk, because last time I checked ST used Verizon as its carrier, and an AT&T iPhone 4 is not compatible with Verizon's network. You can probably use it on Net 10 or T-Mobile once it is unlocked. -
I have been trying to download ios8. I dont remember exactly what happened but at some point I ended up unplugging my phone from my computer because there was an error. Every since then it has not been turning on or responding to iTunes.
When it does respond to iTunes it tells me that I have to restore my phone. I click restore and it says "Extracting Software". It gets all the way to the end and then says that there is an error; something about a disk being full?
I have no idea what is going on and I could really use some help.
Thanks.1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -
MDB messages dont get processed from Queues when involving a remote Topic in transaction
Using WLS 6.1 SP4 on winXP Pro boxes, I have come across a peculiar problem:
I have several MDBs that process ObjectMessages from queues and forward their payload (wrapped in another new ObjectMessage) to other queues, all of which are located within the same WLS server.
Right now I'm adding a new MDB that gets messages from a remote Topic with a durable subscription, and forwards the payload to local queues after some processing.
When the Topic is local as well, there is no problem. But when the Topic is set up in a remote machine, only the MDB that has the remote durable subscription works the way it should. It receives the remote message and forwards it to the corresponding local queue. But then the messages in those local queues dont get processed. The 'Messages Received' count rises and the 'Messages' count stays at 0, as if the messages had been correctly processed and acknowledged, but no onMessage() method is called besides the one from the MDB that has the durable subscription to the remote Topic (I can tell because there's no further processing from the queue those messages get put in). It's as if those messages were simply received and acknowledged without being passed to other MDBs by WLS.
* All queue MDBs use Required container-managed transaction management and auto-acknowledge
* All queue MDBs have default durability for their queue subscriptions
* The topic MDB has a durable subscription stored in a filestore
* Lookup of the remote Topic is done via JNDI
Since the processing and forwarding of messages occurs the way it should when everything is local, I am inclined to believe one of two things:
a) There's some issue with the way WLS treats messages (or even just payloads) when they come from a remote server
b) WLS is doing something I'm not aware of when propagating a transaction that begins with the delivery of a message from a remote JMS Topic when it involves further forwarding of messages in local JMS Queues.
Any help will be appreciated.

Is the durable subscriber forwarder rolling back its transactions?
That would cause the behavior you describe (eg the message gets
placed in the queue, but is never made visible). What do
the pending counts on the destination queue look like?

Startub disk is full?! I dont get it...
Hi everyone!!
I've had my macbook 10.4.11. for about 2 years. I have a 1 GB 667 MHz or something memory. I've been trying to download music to my itunes folder but it says "the startup disk is full," and I've tried to update my software programs but my "startup disk is full." I dont get what my startup disk is or why its full. Is there any way I could get more memory on my computer? If anyone could help, that would be great.

Your startup disk is your hard drive. What size hard drive do you have? You should keep 10%-15% free. You probably have less that 5% free. Hard drive space is not "memory". Memory is RAM size.

Socket.setSoTimeOut() i dont get it

throws SocketExceptionEnable/disable SO_TIMEOUT with the specified timeout, in milliseconds. With this option set to a non-zero timeout, a read() call on the InputStream associated with this Socket will block for only this amount of time. If the timeout expires, a java.net.SocketTimeoutException is raised, though the Socket is still valid. The option must be enabled prior to entering the blocking operation to have effect. The timeout must be > 0. A timeout of zero is interpreted as an infinite timeout.
i dont get what it means when it says block? stop? And when it says it must be vailid prior to entering the block operation where abouts is that?
ThanksSome Socket methods are designed to read a known number of bytes from an input stream. If those methods read less than the specified number of bytes, they will "block", which means that Socket is incapable of performing any other task until the read method completes. This can tie up system resources by keeping connections open, and might not be something desired. To avoid this, you would set the Socket's timeout value, and after the specified interval, if the Socket is still "blocked", it will timeout. When it times out, it throws an exception, but does not close the Socket or perform any Socket-related shutdown routines; it has not been "stopped". In order to shut down the Socket, you would have to write code to catch the appropriate exception, and explicitly close the Socket in that catch block. The explanation of the Socket's behavior is intended to let you know that the timeout process that happens when you set a timeout value greater than 0 is not designed to perform any resource deallocation or Socket close actions - that responsibility is left up to the programmer to handle or delegate as they see fit.
So basically, a Socket, when attempting to read from an input stream, will not be able to do anything else until that read completes - it "blocks" waiting for the read to complete. If the read does not complete, a method is needed to free up resources that may be associated with that Socket after a certain amount of time has passed (maybe the code is being run in an environment where system thread or connectivity resources are at a premium). By setting a timeout value on a Socket you can achieve this goal, but the responsibility for stopping or closing the Socket so that the appropriate resources are released lies with the programmer using the Socket.
Hope this isn't too incomprehensible; I recommend looking at Sun's tutorials and documentation related to Sockets for somewhat clearer explanations and code examples.

i still dont get it, which nf2 board supports soundstorm? eventhough i've asked this a million times, i still couldnt get a straight answer. does asus deluxe offer them? msi, which model? leadtek? epox?

thanksThere are only 2 nforce 2 boards by MSI that have Soundstorm. They are the K7N2G-ILSR and the K7N2 Delta-ILSR. These are the only MSI boards that come with the MCP2-T. Go to the links below and on both pages under PRO. MODEL OPTIONS only the ILSR models come with the MCP2-T which is required for Soundstorm. It is very easy to look at these web sites and assume all boards have Soundstorm but they don't. You have to read the fine print. I know the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe has Soundstorm but I'm not sure what other nforce 2 boards have it.

This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. No must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.
